One time, I put two rods out against an island on a lake. I got a few beeps on the left one, thought it was bream and left it like it was. Again and again, untill the second rod went off like 20 minutes later. When I was reeling it in, the first one started taking line slowly.
Netted the fish, it had both my rigs in its mouth. The line got tangled in a branch, fish swam back towards me and took the second line with a 4oz lead in its mouth mind you. One of the craziest things ever. Rods were about 40 meters apart from one another.
Time for Tom to give up the ghost on that hair! 👀😂 Embrace the shave brother!
What he lacks in hair he makes up for in filming ability that’s for sure ❤️

I used them garlic and cheese dynamite boilies because they are rock hard like tiger nuts, problem was all I could catch on them was bream.
Been binging both channels and all your content recently and I'm loving it! Got me excited for fishing after a too long a break! Heading out on Sunday for my first trip in a couple of years for some pike and perch and can't wait! I do however have to comment on what looked like Omi taking bread directly from the freezer and just yoinking it in the toaster!? Is this normal lol? :)
Ah happy to hear this mate! Glad you like the channels! Haha yeah apparently many people do this just for toast! Freezing bread is a good way to make it last longer as we don't go through bread quick enough! Another good reason for freezing bread for toast (not sandwiches!) is that is makes it's better blood-sugar too :) this is true for many carbohydrates apparently. When they are cooked, then cooled, then reheated the molecules change in the process making the carb more fibrous and less sugary so to speak.

Had a tench of about 3LB take both of my boilies 😂 had one rod casted about 4 ft away from the other one and had a spicy sausage boilie on the one and a krill boilie on the other . Sitting down ,earbuds full blast and I hear a faint beeping noise coming from my rod with the sausage . The krill rod made a few beeps but I thought it was just the tench running through my line . The tench snaps me off right at the net as my knot must have slipped . Gutted , I reel in my krill rod and to my surprise , I feel something heavy on the end . I thought it was a load of silt but no . A tench of around 3LB had ended up taking both my hook baits . Got him in the net and unhooked. I will honestly never forget that moment 😂😂

I broke my line on a rock once, then caught the same fish again a few hours later and got my first rig back! But two hookups at the same time by the same fish, I never saw or heard such a thing!! Incredible!

It's crazy how greedy carp can be. I once was catfishing with a huge chunk of cut bluegill, a 5/0 circle hook, and 25lb mono...far from invisible...and hooked into what I thought was a monster catfish. Turned out to be a 19lb common carp that apparently wanted meat.
