Finally a video that's not just someone opening a brand new Wera box

It’s like videos are people who know how to pronounce Knipex and Wera but are opening brand new tools; or people who don’t know how to pronounce the names but have old and properly used tools lolol

Finally a video that isn’t criticising Wera for not being indestructible.

These spanners (or wrenches for our friends across the pond) are the absolute dogs cojones. Hell they're pricey but I thought I'd buy one a month obviously starting with the most commonly used sizes. I've had them for 5 years now and they are my go to tools. I've been working on cars since I was about 14, and in the UK our cars tended to be somewhat smaller than American vehicles, especially around the engine bay. I've had over a dozen minis over the years and as this chap shows in the video, there's not alot of space. These have allowed me to complete jobs where years ago I'd have undone an engine mount or two and jacked the engine to give me just a few more mm of space. No need for that with Wera Joker spanners. Replacing a nut or bolt blind where you'd usually take half a dozen attempts and crawling around under the car to retrieve it after dropping, this suddenly becomes child's play. I haven't found another tool that allows you to perform tasks in such a tight space, and at far greater speed than ever before. To top it off, these are top quality tools, of the variety that will handed down through generations. I love my Wera tools and have spent the last 5-6 years replacing everything in my tool chest with them. I really can't recommend them more highly.
Thank you Wera, you've saved my bacon so many times.

Love to see tools being used hard. Seems like that 10 yo Wera wrenches held up well.

Thank you for showing a practical use for the tool. Most reviews of the product are just overviews.

I’ve been debating the adjustable wrenches. I feel like there greatest feature is that 5-6 of them can replace about 30+ metric and SAE wrenches for sizing. For a non mechanic DIY’r or someone just looking for a minimalist off rd tool kit, that’s significant.

Absolute on your final comments. I absolutely much prefer the amazing bespoke textile pouches from Wera. I do line maintenance on 767s and there's no fucking way any of us are carrying around tool cabinets. I have a husky bag I throw over my shoulder and take it with me to wherever on the plane I'm going to do stuff. I just throw these Wera pouches inside the bag. They are beautifully organized and they don't rattle around (our other guys just keep wrenches and sockets randomly stuffed in small bags inside their tool bag). They are easily identifiable inside my tool bag. I just WISH Wera would make 12pt 1/4" drive sockets just so I could keep it 100% wera, but sadly they don't.
The only other tool brand I know that sells tools with bespoke storage pouches like this is Tekton, I love them for that too. I have an entire set of 4-way angle wrenches in a beautifully compact and organized textile pouch.

I may be transitioning onto the companies shop(garbage company), and have been looking at a wrench set for my wish list. I first saw the Wera Jokers a couple days ago, and they're high on my wish list, although management seems to have forgotten about me wanting out of my current role.

Just bought a set of Milwaukees on sale- extended size ranges (every mm 6-22!) for $180. Not actually very happy or impressed- I just wanted to the extended sizes because a lot of suspension stuff I do needs the 21/22, and individually they are like $30 each. I definitely need the Jokers. They're super pricey, but they function great from what I hear. I would be curious to see if the joker ... universal? ratcheting wrench could take off something like an o2 sensor. They really seem to be great for maximizing toolbag usage. I just had a hard time spending $200 on 8 wrenches. But they are definitely on the list for forever tools. The milwaukees will be the set that gets abused/high torque etc. They should hold up well to that. Everyone should be providing bags like Wera though... I think I may just start buying one a Wera tool a month.

The universal wrench can sometimes not get simpler things off because of the angle of it

4:40 This seems illogical. You have 60 degrees reset angle for a 6-sided nut. The offset indentations allow for half of that, 30 degrees. And the addition of the wrench flip (because the head is angled by a few degrees) allows for 15 degrees. That's all there is to it.

These are $200 even. The kind with the switch is really expensive, but I hate switch ratchet wrenches

Just bought one set of wrench, screwdrivers and ratchet box. Looks a feels very good, I am DIY guy, not professional but I wanted to be sure I can trust 120% the tool when I need it in sketchy situation, I bet it was good. Future will tell. Thank for the video and the 10y industrial maintenance use. 👌🏼

My roll is younger, maybe at 8 years today, but unfortunately the mesh gave up and I need to saw something new to it.
Cool review, good wrenches. I wish I had some bent Weras as well, mostly for the quality and the color coding which I learnt to depend on a lot. Yellow is 10mm :)

I think you have a fake set then, I use WERA tools very often in very harsh conditions : salt water, ice, rough sea, 100 mtr high in freezing temps, and they never have failed me. The only thing I ever broke is a Philips 2 impact bit. WERA is beside 2 other brands the only toolset admitted for our kind of work.
