To those who might stumble upon her video and see this comment, always do what is best for you business. Set your rules and follow through with it. Dont let customers intimidate you. Customers choose the supplier just like the business owner (yourself). They are risking a lot just like the seller when they decide to have the item they want shipped. Show discretion, but, be fair to yourself as a business owner. I simply tell any customer that I have to file a claim and wait for that claim to clear before I can send a replacement or process a refund. Let it be known that claims can take a while to process so patience is needed. As far as packages that are marked as delivered but customers says otherwise, YOU ARE NOT RESPONISBLE. You can only control what you can control. In those situations, Ive helped customers file a claim, however, I let it be known that I am not held responsible for a possible theft situation. Be polite, professional, but always remember why you are doing this. Hope you guys succeed.
I'm a small business owner and today was the first time that one of my packages got lost. I feel horrible because they've been waiting for 1 1/2 months for their order and i didn't know until today (they left a one star review in my shop). I was panicking at first because I was so disappointed at the fact that i never realized their package never arrived, so Im just trying to watch videos on youtube now to calm me down 😅 Thank you for your advice in this video though, it did help me out! I'm probably just going to remake their order and ship it again.

This is definitely a tough position to be in. Typically, it takes some time for the case to be resolved. They may find the package, or reimburse a portion or all if insurance was included. You could either wait to find out the claim determination, or refund the order. It truly depends on your business process and or policy.

Sometimes usps didn’t let you sign even though you paid for signature .
This is the 3rd time I send a package and it’s been delivered to the incorrect address.. I don’t know how to respond and I’m freaking out so bad.
Oh no! I'm sorry that you're experiencing this. What shipping carrier do you use? What did they say the issue(s) were?
What if a seller sends your package to the wrong person and that oerson steels your package.
If the seller sent your package to an address different from the address provided, I would contact the seller for resolution.

There's a box below the shipping options for USPS that allows signature confirmation when selected.
