Some of you have taken issue with how the dongle makes part of the screen flash when active. I don't noticeit at all when riding offroad because I'm standing or looking ahead at obstacles, not stairing aatmy dash. When back on the street, I see it, and it's a very good safety reminder to turn everything back on.
Correction, you're my hero. It had an auto off setting (I didn't set) after 5min of recording. I turned that off and hope it's all set. Thank you sooooooo much
I ride 95% on sealed roads and I leave it in sport mode all the time. Just because it says sport doesn't mean you can't ride slow. On basic dirt roads I'll switch to standard or gravel. I use user mode for anything off road and I'm ok with changing the settings manually. I think the potential warranty/insurance puts me off making this install. My user mode is power 100%, Engine Brake 75%, ABS off on rear and TC on 25% but if I want to I'll go the extra yard and turn TC off manually.
@@tonyjourneyman1944 very valid points. Dirt is very short and Sparta here so some days I’m going on and off 10 times. In a group they probably wouldn’t like the extra weighting time. But yes, warranty is a concern.
@@KairyuRider I find 25% TC ok for nearly all off road scenarios, I'm never riding like I'm in a Dakar rally, I'm just happy to be out there. TC can be a bummer in the dirt when you need to drop the anchor real quick and the bikes just not having it. However, braking in gravel/dirt is quite responsive with TC at 25%, particularly at my speeds.
The fact that the mode you are in flashes when the dongle is activated is a huge disappointment for me. It's going to drive me crazy... Too bad, had high hopes for this mod. Thanks for posting and demonstrating functionality.

I like how it keeps the front abs on. I just ran a switch under the fuse, but it disables all the abs. This seems good. Maybe a future investment.
Doesn't the fuse switch tub off the speed-o and the odometer?
hand gestures probably starting / stopping DJI...
Hope that helps you...(can turn feature off)
@@dastardlyexperiments it happens why riding too.
Just started recently
But I'll check settings

@mbdspeedshootersdad I thought that too, but after a 5hr day in the dirt yesterday, I'm not really looking at my dash and don't think about it.
