Phantom Ranch, Grand Canyon, South Kaibab trail. June 28, 2024. Hike down with Maria and Pete.

We started our hike really late to try and wait for the heat to go down. We probably got to the trailhead around 6. Well, I got to the trailhead first where I ran into Cindy. Shes a regular down here, she used to work here back in day and she makes this trip every year on her birthday.
Halfway down and a few white claws deep I lost my tripod and my L.E.D. poi. But luckily, they somehow made it to phantom. Some rangers found my poi then after Cindy hiked down after me she found the tripod. Go team, safety first, wear shoes in the house.
