Thanks for the rebuild tutorial. 😅 I had some issues with my RSX Type S since I put in my fortune auto 510 coilovers. It’s probably because I had stock inner and outer tie rods and no riser. I bought the dc5 creations riser and slider and the PCI complete Tie Rods. Might as well grease up the rack and put in a new boot while I’m at it. I like the feel of the hydraulic steering. The EPS on my FD5 CSX Type S feels too robotic. I wish it were hydraulic like the FD2 Type R Thanks so much for the video.
SHG did a video showing that these billet rack sliders can eat away at the track of the rack because it's metal to metal contact. They offer a black hardened delrin slider that "self" lubricates. Also if you were hitting on one side of the frame but not equally so on the other your rack isn't centered properly
@@GravyBuilt give me the time stamp please because after a 2nd time of fully watching the installation you never mention the material the slider rides on is delrin. Had to go to the manufacturers website to find that information. Cheers mate! Keep pushing the build you are the reason mine exists 🙂

Good talking to you brotha 👍
Just did my EPS conversion with help from your old vid on it. Luckily I'm running 215's on 17x8s so I don't have to pull it back out to do this.
Always good information!
Informative , good vid.
Is there a way to pull the whole shift from the side that has the steering input shaft in it. Might be a good idea to clean and re grease that up.
Hey @gravybuilt between shg and pci Street rack slider, which one you think is the best?
PCI makes great products and they are in the US

Good thing the part of this that touches the rack is not metal it's plastic you would know this if you listened to what I said
