The cold does suck, riding in 30 degrees yesterday here in Boston but I had to take out the trash at the ch. That was a nice little quiet ride with Mr Kruesi. You can be the modern “Mr Rogers” minus touching little boys and the train but Mr Kruesi’s Neighborhood, “ won’t you be, my neighbor? Hello neighbor!” Haha you guys are the balls

I got a new Road King in Sept, I was making plans before ever taking it for a ride. My mind changed on its maiden voyage. It only needed a couple of things (it already had a pipe)- I repositioned the handlebars, put on a Step-Up, a k&n air filter, & I got an external breather with catch can so oil & gasses aren't puked back into the intake. I still can't believe how nice it runs & rides. Maybe in a year I'll upgrade the suspension, but it's really night & day better compared to the suspension on my cousin's Softy Low Riders S. While I miss my Dyna, the HD touring frame is where it's at. I can't wait to see everything you guys do to that RG!

I hear ya. Put 12” kst pathfinder bars and took a 2 1/4 holesaw to the baffles and I’m in no hurry to do anything else. Wanna change the shocks and everything else I’ll just upgrade when it wares out. Got 38k on my 19 and that’s with being shut down for New York winters. It’s just a great stock bike. Even the stock 114
It would be super sick to see the street rider get turned back into a wheelie/ripper bike. Keep developing that bike as a platform since those things seem to be the future. I never wanted one till I saw you guys do the dual shock conversion and turn into like a modern Dyna/FXR.
I would love to turn it back into a street bike like that but it is so powerful it’s really gnarly to ride on the street. I might turn into like a street legal super Moto eventually
I can't wait to see you work your magic on this one. I just bought a 21 RG, my first Harley. Rides great. I did have to change the bars for some apes, the stock bars suck, and some slip ons, because yeah, it did sound like a sewing machine with the stock mufflers. Good Luck

I run a 21 roadking with no cat , v&h slip ons and a heavy breather no tuner she runs great no decel pop no issues,
Guarantee it’s running real lean.

Pretty lame you had to buy a bike out of Wisconsin when you rode past a dealership 1/2 mile up the street. The dealerships in AZ are missing out. Stoked to see this build.
I love my 13 RG. I put inforcer wheels on with no ABS too. Let's go for a ride sometime I'm out in Florence. Jump rope guy is weird 🤣.
What I did on my 2021 road glide with tbars is ran the harness back into the inner fairing and zip tied the gauge cluster where the amp would go and tossed out all that plastic shit in the trash. Put the cvo ignition tune and got rid of the fork lock. All that stuff is gone now and my bike runs and looks good.
You do not have to have the gauge cluster attached to the motorcycle and all that is a mess I ran mine with it unplugged yesterday.
@@kruesioriginals I think the reason I left mine plugged in was because the fuel gauge wasn’t working unless I plugged the gauges in.

Great Video! Lately, I've been looking at the RG Standards more so than the Specials. I feel more and more like the Standard (as long as you get the upgraded audio option) is legit the best bang for the buck out there. Everyone gets all hung up on just having to have a "me too" 114. The 107 is solid, plus so easy to throw a big bore at if you're bored..

I have been riding bikes since 1972. Started in the dirt on a Honda 100. Moved up to a Honda 550 4, Suzuki GS 750, and finally Harleys. Softail Twin cam 88, Dyna Super glide 96, 2017 Ultra. I still have the Dyna, cammed it, Vance and Hines pipes, Big City Thunder baffles, yeah I know, 2 into one makes more power, I could give less of a fuck about that. I like the way 2 pipes sound. If I wanted to go fast, I would have bought a Hyabusa. In April I bought a 2021 Road Glide Limited, all the options, Snake Venom paint, some color for a change, not mention that the only way my wife would go along with my buying it…had to be this color. To get along, you go along. Superstition Harley gave me a good deal. The only thing I’ve done to it, with the exception of doing the service, is a Freedom Shields 10 inch smoked windshield. It rides so smooth and is the only quiet bike I’ve ever had. My neighbors appreciate that. 500 miles a day 2 up is cake on this bitch. For now it stays stock, I’ll keep fucking with my Dyna for now.
Hell yeah. Been waiting for you guys to build a newer RG. I love my 2021 RGS currently have Kraus Tbars, JRI suspension and it handles amazing.
I’m pretty stoked myself we got some big things going for this guy

Might sound janky, but there’s plenty of room under the head unit inside of the fairing to zip tie the gauges so the bike still runs and the two fairing gauges still work.
Bike will run without the gauges I tested it. It was a mess I’m running no gauges :-)
@@kruesioriginals my 18 would run with the main gauges removed, but the fuel and volt gauges were tied into it somehow and didn’t work with the mains disconnected so I just shoved it into the fairing so I could at least have a fuel gauge.
@@michaelward138 hhmmm I haven’t checked on that yet that is a good possibility does gauges wouldn’t work dammit
@@kruesioriginals yeah not sure on the 21’s, but on the 18’s those gauges and their backlighting signals came from the main cluster. Eventually I got a bracket made to mount them where the head unit went, but since you specifically bought the nice unit, I’m guessing that’s not an option.

We just finished building a Street Glide the whole series is on here as well. I like riding a Street Glide better. It feels like a smaller bike to me, feels more nimble.

@@billiardbago7500 that’s pretty good we usually run S&S 475 cam they make around 120 horse 130 135 foot pounds. Depending on what pipe you have.
If you do a standing burnout for a few seconds the abs turns off lol
It only turns off for up to 5 miles an hour than it turns right back on again garbage, I completely removed all of it already also saved 15 pounds

I like the response from the 114 n 117 but I hear they have a top end govener? I know the 103 will go as fast as your willing to take it, is the 107 in the same class. I’v run the 88 for years.
It has nothing to do with motor size on the governor. He has to do with everything Rushmore and later as a speed governor. All fuel injected bikes to actually in one way or another

Stock suspension is pretty harsh on the Road Glide. Legends front and back made a major improvement!

Yeah we build a pretty dope white one it’s on our Instagram I think was about a year ago. We’ve done quite a few they’re just not very popular so we do more road glide these days.
Ryan how much are brand new road glides going for in Phoenix? A standard RG like yours. In the Midwest you can get them for Sticker but a used one with 400 feet away will sell for 400 less than brand new
Used ones out here are going for almost 8 grand more than they were new
