Good talk, appreciate the insight on the "No" side. From what I can see, the safety net is there for Seniors though. By virtue of being 65, the minimum reduction for fixed income Seniors is twice that of our blind residents, and $200 more than the *maximum* reduction a 90% disabled Purple Heart recipient could receive. Ultimately agree that the Town & School Committee need to practice better stewardship of our tax dollars.
Oddly, that's the exact same amount contributed by participants in the April 11 pro-override "open forum", also televised by ActonTV. Should they have disclosed?
@@Corinnehog I have nothing but love for Mike Growing and Acton TV. He gave me an award just a few months ago. But if it is being presented as if he is neutral, it should be disclosed. Doesn't legally have to be, but it is good practice. I did not mention your donation because you were not presented as a neutral party in the video.
glad for this information.
Thank you Mike and Corinne for the explanations.

FYI, Mike Gowing is not a neutral interviewer. He is one of the largest donors to Keep Acton Affordable, $550. That should be disclosed.
