Honestly speaking, you are the first youtuber I've come across that lays such an emphasis on the cabin crew salary information. Thankful!!
I don't know how this video was suggested on my UA-cam but my word!, It's really informative. I used to wonder on flights how much the crew make because they do put up with a lot sometimes. Great crisp presentation, which no doubt your long experience had a role to play and so useful for thousands of freshers! A "like" is definitely in order and wish you all the best in your future videos.

This is a great video for the candidates out there who really want to know the salary structure before joining it and you explained it so well however the drawback is that at times company might put a strike on your video because of showing the salary slab which is against the rules and regulations. Once I revealed the salary of some airline on Quora app but my answer was given a strike rest all the best for keep doing the good work ❤️

@@prakjain Back in 90s air hostess used to get 50k per month. By that trend, they should have been earning at least 1.5-2 lakhs per month. They still get the same salary as they used to get 20 years ago.

When I was traveling on board I wused to think that cabin crew earns approx 80-90k permmnth but now I came to know the real earning of cabin crew ...anyway respect 💝for their hard works
The payslip you are showing is the one that was there before company announced that the salary will be reinstated back to pre COVID days, also you are showing salary slip of new contract for the new joined and old contract senior crew, new contact senior crew have different salary scale its around 52 k basic and lead cabin crew basic you missed out to show...and the hourly based salary has also increased after July 2022 back to pre covid days so kindly research a little more would appreciate that

Bro they earn around 1.5 lac as they fly atleast 8 hrs a day and going by slab 1.4 is minimum..

Not sure where people get news that specifically indigo cabin crew earns 1.5 lakh a month.🤣LOL. One of my relative is an Indigo cabin crew hostess & I know the actual ground reality what salary they earn & this I am talkin of post covid days & not pre covid. And in fact the in hand cash is median after tax deduction & not that high as everyone thinks here is.The youtuber posted this is very much similar to current salary structure of cabin crew in 2022.

The catch on the flying hours is the actual flight duration. Your actual job duration for that flight is not considered.

I am frequent flyer & I do see the efforts every time.. consider the odd hours as well, can’t help but think - this job is underpaid sadly..
Nurses are most underpaid compared you must not be a frequent visitor to hospitals.
After B Tech in Computer , Electronics and other Engineering, major Indian IT Companies are paying less to Freshers Software Engineers than Indigo Cabin Crew Freshers. Of Course Google , Amazon pays more

So once i had a chat with a cabin crew girl from indigo on tinder 😅Her attitude was like she could buy that plane and left me thinking how highly they are getting paid or something,never knew they were paid so less.. me earning a 1.7 lakh salary in govt sector laughing my a$$ now. I think with this rocketing inflation where almost every sector either defence, banking, IT etc. Offering avg. Starting Salary 50-60k, 30k is kind of unfair salary for airhostess, itna to unke makeup me chala jayega....

Avg starting salary on IT is around 25K.

After august IndiGo has raised salary package

So if you do not meet up the minimum flying hours a fair chunk of your salary is gone!!! So you end up getting around 25k as fresher🙄🙄🙄... Thats exploitation!! 2nd payslip is also highly variable. Means no guarantee of getting the payment as a fixed amount every month. Very difficult to plan your expenditure for sure...
The salary structure that she showed in this video was pre covid days.since July 2022 the structure has changed.plus they have 2 contract,new and old.as a fresher they will always mKe sure that they fly for like 80 to 90 hours.who would stay if the company pays only 25k.

In indigo sector pay have been revised to pre COVID level...now it's 450/ hour above 50hours

salary structure has been revised & u may earn around 40k-50k aram se....plus u will get extra for layovers

Efficiency bonus is extremely bad..It compels them not to take such leaves.Infact company should be promoting crew to take a minimum number of leaves for their health and well being..Infact sick leaves should be unlimited.

I really didn't realize that the cabin crew in India earn so little. Is this the average for almost all airlines? Or do other companies pay more?
Indigo is the highest paying Indian Airline after Jet Airways and this is the salary for a fresher with no experience. It is highly variable depending upon number of hours, seniority, experience etc and it goes upto a lakh provided you are that senior in the company. I don't think it is too little for an 18 year old or 12th pass right out of school with that many perks, layover allowances and travel considering it is a low cost carrier.
@@TwinkleAnand Thank you for your reply. I was possibly a bit flummoxed by the disparity between the salary and the glamour that the job projects. In India, even normal PhD students earn more than that (leave alone special fellowship holders like the PMRF) and it is not even a job but a scholarship. I also think that the pay is really less (even for a senior) given the risk and the work load of a cabin crew.

Hi. My friend went for interview in indigo for cabin crew. She gave 2 rounds that day and she was told that other rounds will be conducted later. Its been 2 weeks but she has not received any call. Any idea after how much time they usually call for rest of the rounds?Thanks.
Its mean she has been rejected clearly
There is 4 round in every indigo's interview day they conducts 4 round in a same day but those candidates who got rejected then HR says they will call after 48 hours otherwise may you leave for the rest of day its mean they clearly rejecting the candidates
