"Like a Wrecking Ball" is a must! Along with "Kill a Word", "Drink in My Hand", "Desperate Man" and "Stick That in Your Country Song". He has a ton of great material and is the BEST country live concert I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot!

Bruce Springsteen singer/songwriter - 70s and 80s rock and an idol of Eric Church. He used song titles that Springsteen sang in this song:
“Born to Run", "Born in the USA", "Glory Days", and "I'm on Fire".
Defintely a lot of inside jokes with Eric's lines and Springsteen song titles.
This song is great but he has way better tracks that showcase his singing abilities. His voice, lyrics, music and story telling is amazing. His two newest albums...one is called Heart the other Soul...are two of the best albums i have heard in a long time

Yessss!! Now we’ve eased you into Eric Church, while this song is definitely a crowd favorite he definitely has other songs that show how diverse he can be more “rock” and “blues” and “soul” tracks. Personally I think you should review one of his more controversial songs called Smoke a Little Smoke. In interviews he’s said his label didn’t want him to put it on the album for fear it would turn people off to him, I think it’s sooo catchy! Any of his songs really but it has more of a country rock vibe.
Bruce Springsteen was a teen idol back in the day. Also great singer and when I hear Springsteen memories flood my soul. Eric Church is a good ole boy from North Carolina. Love you as always.

Grew up with this song, and country music all of it. Now i listen to pop sad songs but coming back to his music, and others is just memories flooding back. ❤
Eric Church is the most classic chill guy in country music. The reaction you did the other day Africa with all the different singers. The guy with the super raspy voice was Bruce springsteen. He was popular back in the day of when Eric Church was about 17.

I've seen him in concert a few times, and he's an insanely talented singer and entertainer. Imagine the band dropping out and 60,000 people singing that "whoa whoa whoa-a-oh" part acapella to close out the show.

He definitely does upbeat. But he was in Las Vegas performing when the shootings broke out. Shortly after he released a video of a song he did for the victims. Sorry can’t remember the name but very moving. But I’d suggest more of his upbeat stuff.

This song has one of the best lines “funny how a melody sounds like a memory “, and now his newer song “Russian Roulette” adds to it with the line “I need a melody without a memory “ I have seen him in concert 10 times already, all different, the best live concert. I actually prefer to listen to his live music over the recording.

2nd comment but here goes- you seriously should react to Ryan Upchurch’s new album. The title track “People’s Champ” is basically FIRE bars lined up one after another for 3 minutes. I’ve seen people say that this is the album that takes him from “country rapper” to flat out Rapper. I’d love to see your reaction!

This is a great song, but not one of his best. Songs like "Record Year", "Stick That in Your Country Song", and many more are well worth watching.
Eric church is great but this isn't one of his best songs. Desperate man, that's damn rock and roll, wrecking ball, I could go on and on. His later work is my favorite. He puts on an awesome concert. Three hours of him, the woman that sings with him (Joanna cotton) is amazing!! Eric church is the bad boy of country music!

Do you understand the subtleties of music or do you have to say “ah, ooo, uh, yeah?” Runs are a way to cover up a bad voice and the song itself is enough. It’s about loss of young love. Do you have ears?
This is a decent song, probably about as good as it gets for Eric church. Great reaction, but if you want some real country you got to look somewhere other than Eric church. Preferably about 20 years before he was even born. Not a bad song, just doesn’t really belong in the “country” genre.
