Interesting fact about the guy who plays Matt Murdock: He actually lost out on a few auditions after this because he was so used to not looking at people when he spoke.
One of my favorite things about the fight scenes is that people actually get winded and fatigued. So often in movies and shows it seems like nobody is really exerting themselves, despite how strenuous it is to be in a constant fight for minutes on end.
yes thats why kingdom and daredevil are my top shows. i love when ppl get actually exhausted and start throwing all of themselves into it. its so realistic and shows how quick fights need to go
Little known fact but Daredevil's origin story inspired the TMNT's origin story okay hear me out... In the original TMNT comics from 1984 A kid pushed a old man out of the way of a oncomming truck carrying strange canisters, the truck swerved out of the way but one of the canisters flew out of truck. The container struck that kid in the face, bounced off of the pavement and smashed into a onlooker's small aquarium filled with turtles. The shattered glass, canister and turtles all fell into an open manhole cover the four turtles were they found by spliner they all started to mutate and the rest is history
He handles every energy perfectly. Whether he’s calm DD or calm Matt, angry DD or angry Matt, lawyer Matt or emotionally broken Matt. I absolutely adore his monologues.
Story time: several years ago, I was at a Wizard World convention, where Charlie Cox and Elden Henson (Foggy) were guests for meet and greets. Charlie's queue was hella long, but _nobody_ was waiting to see poor Elden. So I went there to say hello, and let him know how much I loved his performance in the show. He actually seemed surprised to hear someone say it. I explained that supporting cast is critical to any show, to ground the main protagonist. And Foggy Nelson has been around every bit as long as Daredevil has. He really appreciated the sentiment.
About 10 years ago I got to meet John Kassir and he was very surprised that I talked to him about his role in Reefer Madness instead of just Crypt Keeper stuff.
that was sooooo nice of you! thank you for doing that, i was never able to go to any of these events but if i was in your shoes i'd for sure do the same as well. people can have favorites, thats only natural, but it's also very nice to support the entire cast since the show only works BECAUSE of everyone
I always bring this up about supporting cast in comic books. A few years ago Superman and Batman each had 80th anniversaries, but they weren't the only ones. Action Comics 1 is the first appearance of Superman, but it's also the first appearance of Lois Lane. Jimmy Olsen was only a few issues later. In Detective Comics 27, Batman first appeared and so did Jim Gordon. A lot of shit has been talked about Robin, but that character is only a year behind Batman, predating even Alfred.
No one was in line to see Elden??? Foggy was easily one of my favorite characters out of all the Marvel Netflix shows! I'm glad you let him know he did a great job!
Hey Nat! Glad to see you're doing "Daredevil" now. A bit of trivia, when he was just starting out, Charlie Cox was flatmates with Andrew Garfield and Robert Pattinson. So Daredevil, Spiderman, and Batman were roomies🙂
that would make a great comedy movie Charlie Cox, Andrew Garfield, Robert Pattinson as roommates it would be like Big Bang Theory but actual good and funny
So there's two superheroes, Batman and Daredevil. One's blind but uses his superior sonar-like hearing to fight dangers to the city at night, the other's a billionaire playboy who uses his unlimited money to buy a bunch of high speed vehicles and swinging-around gadgets. Which one has which name will bother me forever.
I absolutely love how the show portrays the character of James Wesley and his relationship with Kingpin. Throughout the series, Fisk is shown to be excessively emotionally driven and gives into fits of rage and tantrums when things don't go his way, while Wesley is the more even-keeled, pragmatic side, and there's a strong implication that Wesley has specifically been the key to Fisk's success up to this point. The fact that he is unapologetic and unyielding in his loyalty and dedication to Fisk's goals but is still able to take initiative in handling conflicts in a way that effectively represents Fisk's ambitions make him such a fascinating character. I would actually go as far to say he's a more compelling villain than Fisk himself. Not to mention, Toby Leonard Moore is such an incredible actor. I wish he was cast in more roles.
@@AnotherViewer Echo is looking like a course correction for Fisk. Daredevil Season 3 writers are even working on it. I think they assumed they could have a more cartoony Fisk in HE because the comics get away with that kind of inconsistency just find. Kingpin is much goofier in SM and HE comics than he is in DD and Punisher comics. That works fine in comics, so they assumed it would work in live action. It didn’t. So now they’re course correcting.
The portrayal of Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in this series is just perfect. He's such complex character, and Vincent D'Onofrio imbues his performance with all those little tics and foibles that shows so well what the character is feeling underneath. Especially the way Fisk projects strength and intelligence in front of his men, but when he's alone or with Vanessa, his doubts and insecurities come out.
He also lost the ability to land a role. He struggled in auditions after Daredevil because a lot of the behavioral tics he picked up from this show stuck, and he couldn't shake them.
@@ArlanKels He recently landed a role on Kin as the lead. Part of being so engulfed in a role is that it becomes part of you after a while. Like RDJ with Iron Man.
The hallway fight scene done in one long take is just one of the greatest scenes ever. And Matt taking his mask off so he doesn't further terrify the kid ends it perfectly.
The breaking bones are part of the reason that Daredevil (and the other Netflix Marvel shows) are behind an age barrier. And all of Matt Murdock's senses are enhanced. Not only can he hear people moving, but he can also feel the movement of air currents (how he dodges punches, knives, etc.) and distinguish the smells of body odors, perfumes/after shaves, and even halitosis.
This reaction is just "Natalie gets traumatized for an hour straight." For some reason, watching your reaction made the gruesome parts more gruesome than I remember them feeling.
thats the fun of "react" content. every one is a completely new experience from a different perspective. it truly is like seeing it again for the first time. this is like the 6th person ive seen react to this show. look up "V for Vendetta" reactions, ive seen ever single one and i cant wait for another one to pop up. lol i love that movie.
Yes, this is the same character - Kingpin - that you met in "Into the Spider-Verse" as well as Echo's uncle in Hawkeye. But you have never, not for a second, seen THIS Kingpin. D'Onofrio is truly the highlight of this series. Charlie Cox is amazing, Deborah Ann Woll is incredible, and Elden Henson's Foggy is the most truly human character you've seen from Marvel. But Vincent D'Onofrio is performers that surpasses them all, particularly in this role. Your heart will break for him, and your nightmare will be inspired by him. He's just that damn good.
Heartily agree. One of the best supervillain castings ever. "I wanted to make this city something better than it is, something beautiful. You took that away from me! You took everything! I'm gonna kill you!" See, that's a Kingpin quote you're reading. But it is nothing like hearing D'Onofrio say it. He is TERRIFYING.
Love that you’re reacting to this show!! One of the greatest things Marvel has ever done. Glad you’re liking it so far. Just something to note - 42:34 “and he found the lights.” Sure, it adds to the visuals of the show, but taking out the lights is a strategic move on Matt’s part. He’s blind so he doesn’t need them, but his enemies do. He’s giving himself more of an advantage by taking out the lights. His enemies can’t see, but he still can.
They really captured the larger than life essence of Kingpin with this show. In the comics he's just physically huge and that alone intimidates, but D'Onofrio just captures a whole new terrifying level in personality and behavior. You don't mess with Wilson Fisk.
@@this.is.a.username yeah, in my mind I thought the most of the cast would make the move to the MCU, but worried it would be much longer before we saw Mr Fisk again.
I love the episode 2 fight scene and how Matt gets progressively more winded as the fight goes on until the end where he can barely stand. It was such a breath of fresh air compared to other superhero fight scenes when I first saw it. This is a series where injuries matter, pain matters. That scene is like the entire shows thesis statement.
Natalie, The maturity rating thing started when Daredevil came to disney+. everyone's is automatically at 14+ and you have to change it to MA to get the mature content. It wasnt you, it was automatic.
The best show I've ever seen, hands down. This show is the perfect example of what can happen when a group of passionate people get together and make a show that they love. 10/10 I could watch this show again and again and never get bored.
I actually do this. For some reason (maybe the 10/10 thing?) DD is my go-to comfort TV. Though, comfort is a bit off to say... Whenever I'm not sure what to watch next, Charlie Cox' DD is there.... :-)
Oh God I’m so happy you’re FINALLY doing this! This is, by a long margin, one of THE BEST marvel series ever. Episode 2(Cut Man) is one of the best episodes of tv ever filmed and it started the “Hallway Fight” tradition in these Netflix shows. That scene is just… MWAH -- chef’s kiss. I can’t wait for you to get to the second season. Whooooooooo!
Fisk & Wesley's relationship is so fascinating and excellently written. The best villains are the ones who are demonstrably human and just not cardboard Halloween monster cutouts, and the dynamic of these two hits the bullseye on that.
This is one of my absolute favorite shows ever. I binged this at my aunt's house while we were moving from my hometown. I had just lost my job and was really depressed, and my mom's health was getting worse. But for the few nights I spent watching this in the bedroom on my laptop, none of that mattered. This was truly something else.
the fighting in this show is so good. they actually get tired, they slow down when they get hit, they DONT CUT every 2 SECONDS. so much better than almost all mcu fight scenes. and honestly as youll see has some iconic fights
I'm so glad you're watching this! It puts Fisk's role in Hawkeye in a WHOLE new light. And why that fight at the end with Kate was both so impressive and terrifying. Wilson Fisk is not to be trifled with, under any circumstance. TERRIFYING man.
Daredevil, the 'man without fear' is a really interesting watch, and I really enjoyed a lot of the artistry put into the fight choreo and shot compositions. And the cast is great all around, but particularly Vincent D'Onofrio and Charlie Cox. D'Onofrio is terrifying as Wilson Fisk.
This was great. The Netflix marvel shows were great(mostly). I think you will really in joy watching them. When/if you go to react to the rest of them watch them in the order they were released because all the season inter connect with each other. Here is the chronological watching order. 1. Daredevil - season 1 (13 episodes) 2. Jessica Jones - season 1 (13 episodes) 3. Daredevil - season 2 (13 episodes) 4. Luke Cage - season 1 (13 episodes) 5. Iron Fist - season 1 (13 episodes) 6. The Defenders - entire series (8 episodes) 7. The Punisher - season 1 (13 episodes) 8. Jessica Jones - season 2 (13 episodes) 9. Luke Cage - season 2 (13 episodes) 10. Iron Fist - season 2 (10 episodes) 11. Daredevil - season 3 (13 episodes) 12. The Punisher - season 2 (13 episodes) 13. Jessica Jones - season 3 (13 episodes)
I love how you had absolutely no idea what you were getting into with this show. I’m loving watching you freak out over the brutality of it all. Looking forward to part two
Something I really love with the hallway fight scene is how exhausted Daredevil is in this fight. Putting his entire body into a punch and toppling over.
Awesome choice!!!! Fun fact: that crash that spilled/splashed the chemical that got into Matt's eyes and blinded him, that's the same crash that leaked those chemicals into the sewers and created the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. (In the comics.)
In a tongue-in-cheek, referential sort of way. TMNT aren't part of the Marvel universe, so it's not *really* the same crash. That was just a sort of homage to one of the primary influences on TMNT (along with Teen Titans and X-Men/New Mutants).
@@jawbone78 Young Master Splinter literally SAW Matt Murdock save the old man and the resulting crash. Turtles aren't Marvel, but that doesn't change what the TMNT creators choose to put in their story. In the minds of the creators, it's canon... that's good enough for me.
@@thetruthshallsetyoufree6064 It's a parody, not canon. The Turtles fight The Foot. Daredevil fights The Hand. The turtles' trainer is Splinter, who had been the pet of a ninja. Daredevil is trained by Stick, member of a mysterious organization opposed to The Hand.. The entire purpose of the comic was to mock what was popular in the comics industry at the time - ninjas, teen superheroes and mutants.
"I got next" was a common action for arcades and pinball games back in the day indicating you're lined up to play next game. When you have long line ups or many people playing it was a civilized method so that games aren't hogged or controlled by only one or two people so that everyone gets to play. If there isn't a quarter (price of play) on the game waiting to go in that means no one's lined up. by placing it on the game by the drop slot waiting that's being 'lined up to play'.

Finally! Been waiting for this. She's finally gonna recognize and appreciate the No Way Home cameo! I love that Coda just watched you watch the show. Now that's a great cameo.
@@hecdavid11 I think the reason why season 2 is the weakest is because they were setting up the hand of Defenders. The Frank story is the best of the two and unfortunately it becomes more of a Karen-Frank story (that is not a bad thing but I thought the first episodes where going to be like the centenary scene)
Very excited for you to get into this series! It contains some of Marvel's coolest characters. Not every season is amazing, but the majority of them really are. I have a feeling you're going to love a lot of it, if you can stomach the ultra-violence that is! :D Also when you called Rosario's character "Just a Nice Nurse" I laughed a lot, cuz her character is "Night Nurse" in marvel comics. She takes care of super heroes under the table when they need it, and it always gets her mixed up in bad stuff. Was always hoping they'd make a Night Nurse series as a part of the Netflix shows.
This show is some beautiful art. GREAT cinematography, great acting, fantastic dialogue and really good fight scenes. Cox is perfect and his blind eyes are incredibly impressive.
This show is going to be better than you expect. It's so good, even my mom who is older really got into this show in particular, but all of the netflix marvel defenders shows.
What I really love about this show is how gritty and dirty it is. No green screens, small apartments, dirty police departments and hospitals, it just feels so real.
I was cracking up at the beginning of the reaction, your dog is so cute and had the most confused look when you started yelling when Daredevil broke the first guys arm. This is a fantastic show and even though it can be gruesome at times it's not overly played or gratuitous, it's very affectively done. I'm one that doesn't like gore or most horror movies and even though some scenes can be hard to watch it fits with the story being told. I think there are so many great elements to this show from the story, to caring about the characters, to the mystery of what makes the villain tick, to how intriguing the characters are, to making the legal side interesting, and just how good the actors are. Not to mention I really love the title intro to the show. I think it makes a lot of people nervous about what's going to happen with these characters going forward in the mcu and I don't think I'm talking solely about the R rating but the elements combined that make up the essence of this show being altered too much or watered down. I know they are saying these characters are gonna be different but why acquire these Netflix shows in the first place if not to have these shows and the characters established stories be relevant, they could have just cast these actors alone without putting these original shows on Disney Plus as well.
So glad you finally are watching this!! Such a great show. I am glad that you caught the connection to the Hawkeye episode. That episode had a lot of call-backs to Daredevil to set the tone for the big Kingpin reveal. Also, if you haven't already, you should definitely watch Agents of Shield, it is amazing. I don't even care if you react to it (although I would not be opposed), I just want all the people to watch the show.
AoS is such an underrated show. Yes the first episodes kinda drag and are a little slow, but then it becomes one of the most amazing, creative, tragic, action packed shows ever, the cast really is spot on and carries even the most out-there stories.
@@majinkenobi8157 He is loveable, complex, and he has great chemistry with the entire cast. I just recently hopped back on the AoS wave since I stopped at S4. I'm so glad I came back.
Thank you for doing this! I have had trouble getting into the MCU, but Daredevil (the series) is the best I've seen. Charlie Cox is frickin amazing all the way through. Character development is awesome, and the storytelling is top notch. Also, big props to Vincent D'Onofrio. He's good in just about anything he does!
Welcome to arguably the greatest streaming property Marvel has ever put out. Charlie Cox KILLS it as Matt/Daredevil, Vincent D'nofrio IS Wilson Fisk, and there are so many other characters that will grab you throughout this series. Great storytelling and some of the best-choreographed fights Marvel/Netflix has ever done.
All these shows are so good. Well written and visually amazing. Casting, everything about them. I love them ( by them i mean Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and The Punisher ). The only exception is "the show who shall not be named" lol. I love how Natalie notices the things that should be noticed. The subtleties, and there are many, visual and spoken are amazing. That's why i'm subbed to you Natalie and am seriously considering becoming a Patron ;)
daredevil and punisher are amazing as he'll. Jessica Jones and Luke cage were good. not feeling iron first and the other one wasn't nearly as good as it could've been
Iron Fist was crap. Jessica Jones and Luke Cage both had some real moments of brilliance but were uneven on the whole, LC in particular had two really strong first halves of seasons that then went downhill in the second half. JJ had a fantastic season 1 followed by two kind of average not bad but nothing special seasons. Daredevil and Punisher were really the standouts of the Netflix series'. And of course, it goes without saying that Agents of SHIELD was phenomenal even though it's not actually a Netflix show.
@@chriswhinery925 agents of shield was pretty good but I think they should've kept feeding it the loose ends from avengers storylines. And yes iron fist was not good that's why I just said the other one
i was the only one on planet earth who actually enjoyed iron fist. i loved the idea of him coming back to his family after being some secret warrior and that season 2 cliffhanger was annoying.season 1 was better imo
I CANT BELIEVE THIS IS FINALLY HAPPENING YESSSSSS, I WAITED SO LONG!!! so happy you're watching natalieeee, and thank you for watching lots of episodes in one sitting lol
There is a cross-over with a series that makes Daredevil look like a Sunday Picnic with Nuns. Trying not to have spoilers here for Nat, but really looking forward to seeing her react to that one too.
Ah yes, Daredevil meets the Harlem Globetrotters. I'll try not to spoil anything as well, but that was a harrowing crossover to say the least. Ethan "Bubblegum" Tate stole the ball, and the show.
I'm so glad you remembered Kingpin's wife and child in Spider-Verse. He calls her Vanessa in that movie. Also the cufflinks he keeps fondling when he's nervous around her are the same cufflinks Kate used to electrocute him in Hawkeye
I loved season 1 of DD, but season 2 took it to a whole new level - I'm deferring to non-spoilers, but there are two MAJOR characters who show up that in my opinion were just phenomenally cast and amp up the storyline in a great way! Jessica Jones season 1 is also phenomenal - David Tennant may be the best Marvel villain ever! His style of evil is so banal and understandable, it's scary!
I recommend rewatching the hallway fight scene with descriptive audio. It is masterfully done. It says a lot about the production when they put forth that effort for the visually impaired so they may enjoy this story about a blind hero.
What?! What?!! i honestly never thought I'd see you do this Nat. wow. Honestly, this is the best Marvel video media ever created. Full stop. More excited than I've ever been to follow you through this experience.
It's been a while, and I do remember really liking this series, but I had really forgotten how good it was. Everything about this was great. The MCU could use some of this. Obviously it's not for all audiences, but I would love if there was some more R-rated MCU content taking a look at the grimier side of things. And Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk was just about the best casting possible. He was so intimidating and creepy, but also weirdly vulnerable and likeable.
The MCU needs variety. They did right with Ms Marvel by making it for younger audiences, but they need more mature shows too. It's just boring if all their shows and movies are the same rating all the time
@@goodtimesgivecancer1 Exactly, which was one of the things that I enjoyed most about the Netflix shows, and why I was so disappointed when they stopped making them. It wasn't all gold, but it was all watchable, unlike most of the Disney+ series (IMO at least).
@@jawbone78 I enjoy that they seem to be playing with tone a lot more. Shang Chi, Dr Strange 2, Ms Marvel and Moon Knight all have really different styles to usual MCU stuff and that's refreshing. They really fell into a formula from Iron Man up to Infinity War and that started getting stale.
@@goodtimesgivecancer1 Agreed & I think that’s where they’re headed. MoM kinda caught me off guard with the implied violence & there was also USAgent caving someone’s chest in, but they just need that extra nudge. It’s clear to me they’re setting up a few new teams in the coming phases. 2 of the more notable ones are the Midnight Sons & the Thunderbolts and I’m hoping one of those groups end up representing the mature side of the MCU. With the Midnight Sons, you’re gonna have people like Moon Knight (specifically Jake Lockley) & Blade who could really benefit from the R rating. On the Thunderbolts, some of the anti-heroes in the comics who appear on the team are Deadpool & Punisher and IMO those are 2 characters who absolutely NEED the mature rating. I’m glad they made the right call with keeping Deadpool rated R, but I’m hoping they start doing it for other characters too.
Dude from the punisher said the only way he well play the character again is if disney keeps it gritty and if they try to disney/mcu it he will not reprise the role
Natalie I just had to leave a comment and not just for the YT algorithm. This was one of your best recent reactions. You were into the story from start to finish, you were horrified by the gory moments, and you were following all the little details of the character development. I know burn out with reactors can be a real thing and (please don't take this the wrong way) some of your recent reactions you watched the movie/show but this one you WATCHED and it was fun to follow along.
The moment Natalie started talking about how she couldn't find the stuff on D+ I was like "the age restriction" Because I had that same issue. I think it defaulted all existing accounts to be 14 and under only, in order to avoid children gaining access to the stuff without parents permission.
There is no mystery. Someone else in the family set the rating to 14, because they know Natalie. (60 seconds earlier) “Ha ha, he should use a bowling ball, that would be more efficient.” (now) “NO! STOP IT, I DON’T WANT TO SEE A BOWLING BALL!”
Wasn’t sure if this was going to happen! Daredevil is an incredibly written and acted show, Charlie Cox knocks it out of the park in every scene. Season 3 is one of my favorite shows of any show I’ve seen, absolutely worth checking out
One of the best “TV” Shows not just marvel series, some of the one shots and character development is pretty insane. I am ready to relive this through you Natalie. Thanks
Season 1 of this show is LEGIT. Honestly, possibly the best thing produced in the MCU in my opinion. It doesn't have the spectacle of the big superhero movies, but it's just shot, written, and acted so well.
I actually think Jessica Jones season one may outclass this one by just a whisker. Using the supervillain angle as an analogy for real, honest-to-God suffering that's inflicted on some people was wonderfully portrayed by Kristen Ritter and David Tennant.
@@Bad_Wolf_Media I loved that show too, and it was probably for me the 2nd best of the marvel TV stuff, but on a personal level im definitely more drawn to the action and darkness of this. It mirrors a lot of the feel from Frank Millers "The Man Without Fear" run and may actually be the closest thing on screen to a Batman: Year One ironically. I do feel that the acting is a little better across the board in this show, though i feel like Jessica Jones is a deeper show in terms of its themes.
So happy to see you're getting into this. I really hope this pulls you into Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Punisher. Also, Foggy is from Mighty Ducks. I went back and watched it and was like "foggy is so little here".

can't wait til Frank shows up, lol
"This just sucks for everyone, man" is a good summation of what the characters go through in this show lol
It's always a trusty companion with defined relationship that leads people to success.
It's always a trusty companion with defined relationship that leads people to success.
can't wait to she meet al "Señor Castillo"
Yup! I felt that they didn't use him properly in John Wick
Wesley is the GOAT.
Loving Natalie’s reactions to the sheer absurdity of Matt’s abilities. Just wait until she sees ‘Stick’
The way Fisk develops as a complex antagonist is one of the best elements of the show.
It's a shame they made him such a cartoony villian in Hawkeye.
His appearance in Hawkeye was so cringe I wish they had just left him out.
Just saw a post somewhere of Vincent doing body building for the "Echo" show they are working on doing.
Sadly you're right
I honestly didn't mind it. I liked seeing D'Onofrio's range playing two different takes on the same character.
He also gives off a really threatening energy - you never know if he's just gonna flip and start beating on someone
Agree, a great hero needs a great villain and Vincent D'Onofrio performance of Fisk was outstanding.
And Kevin feige ruined him in Hawkeye
@@FULANODETAL I don't agree. He was amazing in Hawkeye; the Kingpin at his peak villainy.

Natalie saying “do you feel better now” after kingpin decapitated that guy with the car door is the reason why I watch these reactions 😭😂
It was reaction gold
I've watched the show several times, and I still half expected Kingpin to turn to the camera and grind out: "Somewhat."
Such an awesome series! Charlie Cox received an award from the American Foundation for the Blind for this role he did it so well.
He also lost the ability to land a role.
He struggled in auditions after Daredevil because a lot of the behavioral tics he picked up from this show stuck, and he couldn't shake them.

Sweet. I'm always happy when a great actor gets a new role.
@@ArlanKels I read that he turned down roles because he thought the series was going to continue and he didn't want conflicts with that.
The BEST representation of both Matt Murdok and Daredeavil ever filmed
It was based on, in my opinion, the best run of Daredevil comics. Frank Miller.
I'm _so_ glad they retained Charlie Cox for the theatrical role. That has so much promise for cross-over action.
It's amazing, but let's not pretend it has competition.
Honestly, best of Kingpin/Fisk, too.
This reaction is just "Natalie gets traumatized for an hour straight."
For some reason, watching your reaction made the gruesome parts more gruesome than I remember them feeling.
No it didn't because she censors pretty much everything slightly rsiky and yells every 10 fucking minutes.
We're going to have to Clockwork Orange her for season 2.

It's same character from different universe than spiderverse
@@keeganbate8935 "when i was boy"
@Commenter Yeah but THIS version of Kingpin would have popped Kate's head like a grape.
This is the real Kingpin. The Wile E. Coyote Kingpin in Hawkeye is an embarrassment.
“You better get the scotch.”
Natalie: “Oh we’re using tape? Oh.. Oh!!”
😂 You are so pure, love it!
What if he said "You better get the Duct". Duct tape fixes everything.
They really captured the larger than life essence of Kingpin with this show. In the comics he's just physically huge and that alone intimidates, but D'Onofrio just captures a whole new terrifying level in personality and behavior. You don't mess with Wilson Fisk.
Too right! I love D"Onofrio's portrayal of Wilson Fisk in this show. It's so great!
i geeked out so hard when i saw vincent in hawkeye, more so than seeing charlie playing matt

Me thinking she could never watch a single Tony jaa movie lol. Each of those movies is like a bone breaking festival or something
Fisk & Wesley's relationship is so fascinating and excellently written. The best villains are the ones who are demonstrably human and just not cardboard Halloween monster cutouts, and the dynamic of these two hits the bullseye on that.
I see what you did there😉
I can't wait for Nat to see what happend to Fisk to become King Pin eventually. Also, Bullseye *chef's kiss*

Something I really love with the hallway fight scene is how exhausted Daredevil is in this fight. Putting his entire body into a punch and toppling over.
Charlie Cox (Daredevil) puts so much into the role. He is an outstanding actor and you really feel the characters.
Awesome choice!!!! Fun fact: that crash that spilled/splashed the chemical that got into Matt's eyes and blinded him, that's the same crash that leaked those chemicals into the sewers and created the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. (In the comics.)
Interesting fact.🙂

I came into the comments just to say exactly this. 😁👍

Funnily enough I find season 2 to be the weakest of all 3. Still an amazing season, but I like Seasons 3 and 1 better (in that order)
Season 2 is definitely the weakest, but it's still a blast.

Very excited for you to get into this series! It contains some of Marvel's coolest characters. Not every season is amazing, but the majority of them really are. I have a feeling you're going to love a lot of it, if you can stomach the ultra-violence that is! :D
Also when you called Rosario's character "Just a Nice Nurse" I laughed a lot, cuz her character is "Night Nurse" in marvel comics.
Natalie this is the most hype I’ve been to watch a series with you, Daredevil is a RIDE and I think you’ll love it.

Iron Fist was crap. Jessica Jones and Luke Cage both had some real moments of brilliance but were uneven on the whole, LC in particular had two really strong first halves of seasons that then went downhill in the second half.
Tennant made my skin crawl, which was the point.
I recommend rewatching the hallway fight scene with descriptive audio. It is masterfully done. It says a lot about the production when they put forth that effort for the visually impaired so they may enjoy this story about a blind hero.

NOT great Poker advise. I do not recommend that.
