- This my tribute to the best character to ever appear on Gotham!!
Jerome was the single greatest thing that happened to Gotham, The character was introduced to us in a way where we knew exactly who he was supposed to be .. THE JOKER. and Cameron played the part beyond perfect! I hope they can still somehow use him in the future and that we havent seen the last of him! Jerome has taught us alot! Good comedy needs timing, there's nothing more contagious than laughing,etc.. also we need to be more like Jerome. That when life gets us down and makes you feel a little dead, don't stop smiling! BE FREE!

The casting in this show is great, especially people like penguin, the riddler and Jerome

The only reason Jared is popular it is because of pop culture. Jared's acting for the role of joker is not bad. The bad thing is how suicide squad portrays joker. Joker isn't a man about luxury he is a man of chaos. He is also not a flirting playboy. Harley is just his sidekick not a love interest. Another reason why Leto's joker isn't intimidating as the others is that he is just a f*ckboy kind of joker.

I say Cameron did an phenomenal job in showcasing two sides of the Crown Prince of Crime: the side which all of us DC fans know and love (total maniac, psychotic, sadistic and most of all, brilliantly smart with his creative savagery) while the other side is shown of his cold and calculated side (master manipulation and tactics hiding behind the craziness, bomb maker as well as cold blooded). Back when Gotham was on S2 and they showed Jerome for the first time with the whole police getup and the whole killing the female police chief with a flair for the theatrics and the whole "you are all cogs in a giant machine, you ain't seen nothing yet" speech, I knew then and there he embodied all the past Jokers like Heath (tactical but perfect in masking it in insanity, his style and overall smile gives me Heath Ledger's vybz, logical when the situation arises and overall charisma) Mark (his aura and the way he moves almost like a live action version of Mark Hamil's version of him) and Jack (flair for the dramatic and theatricality plus overall swag). And may I add, almost as if he combined all aspects of each of the past Joker's famous LAUGHS in his own way and somehow combined it into his own. Season 2 and 3 of Gotham was like major serious if Jerome was gonna show up. Like if he was an angel of anarchy and chaos. From there, he spreads the madness into Gotham like wildfire. I gotta give it to Cameron Monaghan for providing one of the best performances for an villain ever in an tv setting like Gotham, like this shit is overall S-tier to me right next to Michael Rosenbaum's version of Lex Luthor from Smallville, the first superhero tv show that crawled so that the Arrowverse can run, get it? Haha. Yeah, so overall, Cameron's Jerome got it and not many people knows this and they need to. So underrated and I felt like that he would've done even a bigger and better job on the big screen.

While he's fantastic in Shameless, and played the PERFECT mentally disturbed teenager in his one-off role in "Law & Order SVU" opposite Miranda Lambert who also guest starred, Cam's portrayal of "Jerome" *Cough* JOKER *Cough* was phenomenal because IMHO it was a perfect homage to the two most recognizable guys who have played the role in the last generation...
He complimented Ledger's mannerisms wonderful, and gave a fantastic knod to the comedic yet cynical timing to the Nicholson version.
When he first showed up on screen in season one, and just slow turned his head with the evil grin, and laughed so dauntingly I immediately thought, "Oh hell yeah!"
