This hits different when you've played the game like 8 times Edit: I can see how this song represents Sayori since the last notes of the song are fairly low notes when most of it is fairly high pitched. The high pitched represents what she looks like (happy) but the low notes represent how she really feels (her depression).
Interesting thoughts, putting the main melody into the middle or bass part and lowering the BPM might give a completely different mood version of Ohayou Sayori.
Actually, it's not her "really feels" but just her depression level being adjusted to the highest by Monika, Sayori's nature is a cheerful and active girl! P/S: I don't hate Monika 👐
this is one of my favourite overall songs and has been for a while, beatiful arrangement, listen to it all the time and i love it as much as the first time each time
even after 70 listens to this video i still come back to it, motivation to learn how to play the piano 📈📈📈 I really like the moments of soundtrack: 1:00, 2:08, 3:07
I really need to say plenty of things about this version of Ohayou Sayori: 1. Since this is one of my favourite songs from the OG DDLC, from the bottom of my heart, really, I can say that this is perfectly improved!😍 2. It's amaizing how you could improve it: more arpeggios, playing some musical notes that originally are one with its upper octave, adding some new little parts like in 1:40 or the 32nd-note ascending in 2:47( it's really cool!), being one semitone upper in the last part. To sum up, making a remake from the song. I guess that you have studied professional music, especifically, piano, haven't you? 3. I've listening it 10 times in a row and I'm not bored, really, it's extremely happy, there are no doubts! 4. I already know how to play other DDLC songs in piano, but thanks to you, I know what I can try to play and listen for a long time! 5. Was it difficult to learn and play? More or less, how long were you practising to play it perfectly? It's only to have a time reference. In conclusion, I can't really express with all the words of the world what this song makes me feel! This is really a great masterpiece that needs to be heard by a lot of people, it deserves a lot of wievers, even thousands or millions! 💯💯❤❤
This is insanely good. Seriously, you should be proud of this. Not only is it the most accurate arrangement, and undoubtedly the best (especially liked that you went a step further near the end and gave a little twist by raising the song a semitone up) The playing is so beautiful even the transition sounded so natural.
I use a 32nd-note ascending spiral melody here, which may be difficult to play well with the left hand making large jumps. Also, because I raised the key of the piece by a semitone in the final section, the fingerings for the scale may be significantly different from F major for beginners. If you want to play it, my suggestion is to practice it at a slower tempo first, or replace it with other arpeggios section. DDLC terrifies you with only 5 words:
"I gently open the door".
and the music
If only the MC aggressively opened the door

@@moist1491 ahphaha thank you so much hope someday I can learn music notation and learn to play the piano in the future :)
Do you happen to have the sheet music for this?
I see this annoying girl running towards me, its my childhood best friend sayori.
3:05 This part seems reminiscent of the original iteration of this song (that being the 2010 version), was that intentional?
I listened to it, and didn't feel particular similarity, but I used part of peachy pie's section in the end.
How does the piano know what your playing with each hand to light with the corresponding color
Because after editing the MIDI, I assigned the parts played by the left and right hands to two separate tracks.
