Those long kiais are commonplace nowadays... back in the 70s fighters would think it was nutty, and a daft attempt at most in drawing attention to a attempted move, you would have been laughed at ! But theres alot of good content in this video, very good stuff.

I would like to ask to Mr.Antonio Olivia , if he only teaches techiques for Shiai or does he also give importance to Kata and kihon and Karate ?????? he should know that his teachings of techniques is giving young students a focus only on taking a point and forget the rest of Karate.
i am very surprised how Black Belts and higher ranked students , don't even recall their Heian Shodan or other. is getting a point at International Shiai, the only way ???? then dont ever teach karate , but call it something else.
