funny thing is that its technically the opposite, the human face is a mask for the stand. wonder of u even said it itself, those who do not know of its powers will see it as satoru akefu, but those who know its powers will see it as its true form, the one we see throughout most of this video

The lyrics are pretty similar to Tooru's relationship with yasuho, obviously she didnt know he was a rock human til the events of jojolion went down, the guy knew all his sins and still slept with yasuho
The voice actor is just perfect. He sounds a little surprised, but also naughty as if he knew this would happen. I also can hear a little reverb, which is difficult to hear but it makes his voice even better. Perfect choice for voice actor.

The coolest part of Wonder of U for me is that he is an Automatic Stand....
To have an automatic stand as a villain stand is quite interesting....
Which makes sense lol. I feel like automatic stands always gave the hardest fights. Even Sheer heart attacks and bites the dust were automatic.
And the fact that its automatic makes it terrifying
Auto stands have always been insanely powerful, but one with its activation condition also being a perfect defense is op.
the funny part is... WoU isn't like "oh, you attack me, now i gonna stop following Josuke and focus on you" WoU just casually spam other himself xd
Haven't really read it, so it's more from what other people have said, but given a self-aware stand has only really been done twice(GER and Dragon's Dream), making an automatic stand seperate from its user defines the force behind the idea of the Stand like nothing else
for 10 years we're pursuing the main villain in the jojolion now look what happened now after we finally know the main villain. Pandemic is spreading, Afghanistan is in a threatening situation. Antartica is melting... Wonder of You is the most terrifying stand so far... It affects the real world that we are in right now.

@Man of the Wasps Thats part of Toorus character. He didnt need to show up. He fought and spoke through his stand. On top of that, he was supposed to be a twist villain. Besides, with the whole thing about pursuing him, its no wonder he didnt show up much and it was mostly his stand
Wonder of U taught me that when a terrifying villain meets something even as small as simply reaching them, they’re not met by fear or paranoia, but rather, curiosity and surprise.
The constant rising octaves of the instruments from the beginning to when he starts talking with that deadly calm voice makes the tension of this scene so intense. 🔥🔥Wonder of U

@@hartantoanggoroIt is just a gleaming from what others have said, so part of it could be wrong, but giving a more humanlike voice places it as a living thing like any other on the planet and emphasizes its independence from Toru(in some ways feeling like the ideas of myths and their pantheons), but a robotic voice completely captures its presence as calamity, being a force/law as much as gravity or consciousness, and while Stands have manipulated these concepts before, eventually they go back to normal as if nothing happened
This clip is as every bit as seat-edgingly suspenseful as I remember the original sequence is in the manga. 10/10.

I kinda love how even Toru, the stand user of Wonder of U nor the Wonder of U exactly know how the calamity works- they know it happens and it is an oposite of Luck (the Flow as Norisuke put it), but they don't know what it will do.
All they know is that it is something that protects them by bringing missfortune to others

I love how he's not afraid that someone got so close to him. Rather, he's just curious how badly his ability is going to F*k the guy up at that range.
Does a bit of some prior JoJo villains in that regard, but nice to see the distinction as past villains have been human in concept, not simply forces or completely different beings like Stands

@@letshavefun5210 Josuke used Soft & Wet's spin. He eventually had bubbles which "don't exist", but can still damage things, which is useful since WOU only activates on a direct attack, and since those spinning bubbles don't exist they don't trigger it.
@@FoxCoffee.so he was defeated by some bullshit made by the main character? The stand is pretty much invincible unless you do some shit like that. If there was a character that would one shot every Superman at the same time with a flick of his finger but the only way to damage him was using a a specific brand and model of a water gun and it has to be filled with water from Titan. It would still be the strongest character because who tf is gonna know how to do that to damage him? In Wonder of Us case, it’s who tf can actually DO that except for alt josuke?
