MonsieurAufziehvogel yes that explains why the Xbox version wasn’t released on time. I’m not sure exactly when it appeared at the store though. Well as long as we get the video patch update I’ll be happy. I really want to play with the retro look.

day 1 reviews for sor4 were tough. a lot of people were super mad about the slow walking speed and no dash.. but as a few days after release past people started using the air specials to get around.. now people are clearing faster than ever.
I honestly didn't want to do it, but I saw so many comments about the graphics and Streets of Rage 3 gameplay preferences, I figured I owed the game that much.
I'm glad you made this update! Yeah I was frustrated too that Axel and Blaze didn't have their moves from 3. It would've helped if they did but hey, up to the devs what they wanted to do. Who knows, maybe Axel and Blaze can run in another patch or something.
I’m loving this game and I’ve been playing it most of the weekend. It’s exactly what I wanted in a SoR sequel. I’ve unlocked all the retro characters from 1 and 2 and now working on 3. If you haven’t played it, I would HIGHLY recommend picking up Fight ‘n Rage. It brings over a lot of the mechanics from SoR 3 like the dash and dodge, the recharging super meter, and it has a fantastic art style and soundtrack, as well as tons of branching paths and endings. It’s just as good as SoR 4 in my opinion if not a bit better, and it’s available on Steam and all modern consoles. You can tell it was made by someone with a lot of love for Sega’s series.
This update is very much appreciated. I was one of those who felt losing the run feature from SOR 3 made the game slower overall. Its awesome that the SOR 3 characters are unlock-able and retain all of their moves. I own both the PC and Switch version of this game and can get it on my X-Box Game Pass if I want. Since that is an inferior version, I'll probably just stick to the other versions. Regardless of some of the issues I had, I wanted to totally support this game anyway I could because the series meant so much to me growing up. Out of all the reviews I've watched, your review is by far the best. Keep up the great work Sega Lord X!
People who don't appreciate Streets 3 are just those who didn't learn how much better it is, either because they disliked the soundtrack (understandable), or found it too hard (need some persistance!). I really wish run and roll could be implemented for the new SOR4 characters- even if it's just an option and not mandatory. Hell, I hope they've already got plans for an expansion (which I think they have- new Max being there and Skate not even being featured outside of his unlockable legacy characters) or a SOR5. Just awesome!
GuestZer0 Because Nostalgia hits very hard. SOR2 was my favorite musically. But graphically and game playwise BK3 was superior and pushed the genre forward. Running and rolling was vital for staying alive and not just some aesthetically pleasing. People talking that dumb don’t realize just how good BK3 was. Axel with Heavy weapons was a joy. Give him a sword and watch the carnage lol that’s just the beginning.
I'm glad they'll add the retro filters to the Xbox version cause I was like "WTF!?" I can live w/o them but it would have them like the other versions since day one. I like to keep this game on my Xbox cause I can also have SoR Collection on there to have all four games on one console...
It would be nice if they could patch in a run and or dash for Axel and Blaze - I get why Floyd doesn't have one as the game's resident "heavy" but the others not having it is just a weird design choice.
Thank you for the video. The CRT scanline effect its my favorite, old characters looks very good and makes the game a lot more familiar. I hope SoR4 does well so we can get more classic games sequels like Golden Axe 4 or Super Shinobi 3 (Sewer stage of Sor4 does have kind of Joe Musashi drawn on the wall ).
Not keeping run as default movement post SOR3 is a huge over site. Heck even Cadillacs and Dinosaurs (an earlier game than SOR3) and Final Fight 3 have runs, to name a couple. Still, I am loving SOR4 and always love your content SLX.
I love streets of rage 4, but it really says something when people prefer the SoR3 characters over the newer ones. I am glad that Adam is finally back and is fun to play. My gripes are minor but certain enemies who are not bosses have for greater priority than they should have. That just doesn't feel right to me.
I bought the game, have not gotten to it yet, but I was looking at various reviews about it, but really I'm glad you came around with the game on this channel. Thank you.
Just wanted to hear that hot hot Genesis Batman theme again! But seriously appreciate the extra info...much respect. Looking forward to my Switch version arriving soon hopefully
You could do a whole video on the weapon combat. Omg theres nothing better than hitting someone with a weapon, turning around and throwing it and an oncoming enemy, catching it and hitting the first guy again. Perfection.
I learned from the Digital Foundry video that the Xbox surprisingly lacked some options. Good to hear they're addressing it, as one would expect. No reason any platform should be lacking options. I was surprised by the full retro modes as I don't recall them showing anything but the legacy characters. The effect looks really good to me in videos and that option, plus the option for the screen shake(a common effect I hate in modern games) has made me far more likely to play this game than I was a few days ago. The removal of the run was also a disappointment, so I'd expect to primarily play the game in retro mode with SOR3 Axel. Lack of a standard run isn't a deal breaker, as SOR2 still is a fantastic game, but that was one thing I considered a big improvement for SOR3. I will miss the special system from SOR3, though. I really like that feature. I can totally see the Comix Zone vibe. And while I didn't like the default Lizard Cube style for SOR4, it may be a better fit for Comix Zone. But I got the Comix Zone vibe from the Digital Foundry video when they showed footage of the game during development with the characters on colorless pencil-sketch backgrounds, which they thought was cool. That's something that wouldn't make sense for SOR4, but would work just fine for Comix Zone.
I'm glad I'm not the only one going on about "what if they did Comix Zone/ put Sketch Turner in as a secret character"! Honestly, the style of this game was fantastic!
I love the work the devs have done. But I think its fair to say they could have easily added run and role to streets of rage 4, 2 and 1 versions of axel. The SOR Remake did this and even gave SOR 1 axel a special attack on top of the police screen clear attack. Still SOR4 is a sonic mania moment and I hope SEGA keep allowing this sort of thing.
I don't think it's possible for a game to meet every expectation 100%. There will always be those that find something they do not like. It's fair, I don't begrudge it. Well, at least until they get so defensive about it they start getting nasty. Once the insults come out all tolerance is lost.
Okay, we can take SOR3 version for those who complain about the missing of runs and dodge ... BUT ... only original characters of SOR4 are take in consideration for online leaderboard ... (why they don't made leaderboard separetely for all the version and by character ?! ) in Arcade mode or others ... But clearly, after play Axel SOR3, it's clear run and dodge bring a lot in SOR4 and are evidence ! We need it for original characters !
Let the developers know on their FB and Twitter you'd like to see leaderboards for all the characters and a legacy run/roll added in a future update. Most devs listen to their fans at least a little these days.
It's not only SoR3 fans who are disappointed but everyone who considers, since 1992 or so, that every BTU should have the abillity to run, so seeing a 2020 BTU without this ability on all base characters is quite disappointing. I know the majority of people seems to enjoy BTU by doing combos, grabs and often by using some of the slowest characters. But for some of us, BTU enjoyment is done through fast paced dynamic gameplay with great movability. For me, not having a great movability and so not being able to run can be a deal breaker (it depends on the pace of the game). It's also disapointing to see that the moves list is almost identical to SoR2 one, and so is quite limited, even if the gameplay is vastly better thanks to the juggles and the more dynamic, responsive and smooth gameplay. SoR3 characters may be fine, but they lack the super moves bar, the advanced super moves are linked to the stars, you can't do all of them like you can with the 6 buttons gameplay of SoR3. And I don't like how pixelated they are, they don't integrate at all, and the sprites look more like a bad mpeg compression than old school sprites (maybe it's just because of the lack of scanlines, I hate low res 2D on LCD screen without scanlines). I would have prefered to have some HD versions of them, and if you want some good old big pixels nostalgia, just turn on one of the post process filters.
Sounds nitpicky in my opinion. The fact that most Beat-em Ups back then don't use run abilities that much anyway. Also if you like to dash around just pick Cherry Hunter or Adam Hunter (Dash), if not pick any of the Pixel Characters since they all play differently.
I really like it that 4 Axel is basically a bum, the same kind of way that Cody ended up in jail. Blaze still like she's just come from (a very violent) night club. Dude, thanks for the addendum.
For those that are interested in the GOG version of the game, be warned: Please note that at this time, the DRM-Free version supports local co-op only with up to 4 players. The 2-player online mode is not available. Lizardcube's twitter page also mentioned this: "Hello, unfortunately the GOG version of the game won’t be supporting online features" The Xbox game pass version also has missing settings seen on the Steam version. I ended up getting the Switch version, so I can play on the go. I have been enjoying this game so far, but I wished online play was more smoother, it can get very laggy.
Definitely appreciate when anyone updates a video after new info becomes available. I reviewed the game on my [tiny] channel also, I was missing the same things since I had the gamepass version. For me, it doesn't change anything, personally. I still think this game feels like a step back gameplay wise, has worse music than the first two games and the standard cartoony art just isn't good. I didn't hate it, I just thought it was a little above average. I played through it again a bunch of times after I reviewed it to see if my opinion would change with more skill and time and so far it hasn't. In my eyes this is inferior to the fan-made Streets of Rage remake from years ago in almost every way.
Nice follow up. Not a fan of sorr 3 myself so I appreciate d the more sor2 like gameplay. It always felt a bit sloppy I guess. I did like the dash mechanic though and was surprised it wasn't included but it's great knowing I have something to look forward to as I unlock more. What a great game.
I have really enjoyed Streets of Rage 4. I have played River City Girls and both D&D beat em ups very recently, and this holds up well as one of the best. The game feels a really good to play.
If anyone is interested, there's a GREAT rom hack of SOR2 called "Streets of Rage 2 Ultra" (I think it's the 2018 one). Really modernizes SOR2 and speeds up gameplay, and feels a bit more badass.
You can see why they DIDN'T do this though. Run and Roll was only in 3...a game for years many said was the worst game in the series. Why bring back stuff from a game the fandom said they HATED?
@@miroku888 i love the game, but the gameplay evolved in 3, they should keep the gameplay or improve it, I disagree with 3 being the worst in the series.
Well done for coming back to address these things, I think you're better off re-uploading both videos as one for consistency's sake, that way when someone watches your SOR4 video months from now they won't be scratching their heads
I streamed it last night and while it was a fun game with MULTIPLE problems such as some you mentioned in the addendum video of 2/5 characters having a dash (Adam is a quick step while Cherry, whos playstyle reminds me more of Linn Kurosawa from the Aliens vs Predator arcade game is a full on run) I was having problems with just picking up stuff. Health and money would be laying on the ground and it would be completely random if I would pick it up or not, not even moving it could sometimes take 4-5 times before the game would just say "ENOUGH" and give it to me. To me it didn't feel like a Streets of Rage game but it was still fun to play and I recommend it. I just wish that a game built around fast enemies who have literal tracking attacks (Looking at you, Commissioner) would let you roll or dash in to close the gap with everyone instead of having to beat the game and unlock the retro cast who can do all those things. Speaking of the retro characters, you have to beat the game at least three times to unlock the SOR3 variants, something neglected in the video. I know you have to do this but maybe someone who does not will read this or another comment if it is mentioned elsewhere, but yeah, retro characters are not available from the start and must be unlocked in order of SOR1-3.
One of the main reasons why I love SoR3 is the running and rolling mechanic, so I think they should have just made all characters able to do that in SoR4 as well, but hey at least the SoR3 version of characters are able to run and roll then I guess it's not game breaking.
The Retro Characters are kinda gamebreaking in their own right because they generally attack faster and can do more overall damage than the normal cast, apparently, even the SoR1 versions. And of course, SoR2 Max and SoR3 Shiva are accounted for to utterly destroy everything in the right hands.
@@raikohzx4323 really?. Well because I ordered the physical copy from Limited Run games I still haven't played it yet, I guess it's okay since they're added to give more replay value to the game, Shiva and Max were damage monsters on SoR2 and SoR3 as well so I guess they wanted to stay faithful to the source material.
I love the third game in its Japanese form. I know some don't like the music and I admit it's not meant to be as catchy. Other than that, it's the difficulty balance changes that bother people. The run/roll and the special-attack meter were both great improvements, in my opinion. I would have liked to see them carried over as standard. Lack of run wouldn't ruin it for me(I still love SOR2), but I can see myself playing as SOR3 Axel most of the time.
@@ravagingwolverine exactly, SoR3 is my favorite of the three and it's new improvements and mechanics at that time worked well, the soundtrack got few bad tracks but it's really great overall, and since we had the Japanese version, the horrible localization that the US got never concerned me, there is a give and take between SoR2 and SoR3, but somehow people always made it an obligation to criticize SoR3 just to praise and show affection to the first two games.
I'd have to say 4 is probably my 2nd favorite in the series, largely thanks to all the content and options it gives us in addition to that classic SOR action. I still feel like 2 has yet to be toppled, however. Rarely do I say a game is perfect, but SOR2 somehow managed to be a near perfect formula when you put everything together (pacing, structure, mechanics, visuals, music, etc.). It's like if you changed anything in that game it wouldn't be quite the same.
I tweeted the developers about the video settings missing from the Xbox version and they confirmed they are making a patch update soon. So is Xbox owners need not worry. But if there are any Xbox players make sure to tweet them too to make sure they hurry up with this Xbox update.
Great update. Lizardcube did so much for so many for so cheap it blows my mind. You can pinch me cuz I must be dreaming that in 2020 we have this kind of justice coming our way. Yes, LizardCube, Dotemu and Guard Crush should be household names.
I didn't realize how many diehard Streets of Rage 3 fans there were out there until this game came out and I saw people complaining about things missing between 3 and 4. I never gave Bare Knuckle 3 a try and SoR3's difficulty was always too high for me. I'm thinking if I used those mechanics, I probably would have had a much easier time, lol
It's really strange that those visual options are not in the video menu for the Xbox version. Especially since the Xbox version still has those modes they're used when you play the arcade cabinet levels so it's not like it's not there you just can't choose to turn it on yourself for some reason. Maybe they'll patch it back in.
omg, I just unlocked SOR3 Axel and I completely forgot he could run in 3, hahaha!! thanks for reminding me, now I MUST unlock Blaze3 as well.... STILL, the majority of new game is designed around the characters who can't run and it's actually very refreshing and I thing it's a better decision in the long run.. In my eyes SOR4 is an official SOR2 Remake! :DD
@@SDSOverfiend ^^^^This so much. It also doesn't help that there's no dodge or block mechanic. It's infuriating getting knocked out of a combo from a guy do a flying kick across the screen or there are no invincible frames for your super attacks. Plus some of the enemies have some wonky hit boxes (looking at you knife Galsia....)
@@nukedukem4260 Because the gameplay of streets of rage has always been about controlling the space and antecipating the positioning and timing of your characters and your enemies. You have to be pretty good at that, especially at harder difficulties to avoid being punished precisely because you can't just brainlessly react with a block or a dodge. That being said, some characters offer more options in that regard (like Cherry has a run and Adam a dash) as a trade off for other aspects.
@@marcomartins6927 I know about proper spacing. The point of contention that I have is you can't do combos as intended because if you are in the middle of active frames the enemy can initiate an attack from across the screen that you can't dodge. If it's not going to have a dodge or block mechanic, then you should be able to cancel out of active frames at least. I have had all 3 SoR for Sega Genesis since their release (showing my age now) still with the plastic cartridge cases and paper manuals.
@@nukedukem4260 That's why you need to really understand when it's riskier to commit to a combo and when it's safer. If you could just react away, you would just spam combos. Instead you have to anticipate when it's safer ir riskier. I'm in stage 5 on mania right now and the real key is really space control and anticipation.
So glad with dedication this game get from the devs, I instantly bought on Steam (wish it is also on GOG) after your 1st impression without any hesitation and surely Im not dissapointed at all especially knowing Axle from SOR 3 play like fans wish here. Oh yeah, you still forgot to said it : It PLAYS like Streets of Rage. It LOOKS like Streets of Rage. It SOUNDS like Streets of Rage. It FEELS like Streets of Rage. Edit : Its apparently released on GOG, but I didnt remember any reviews I read mention that ...
I love the classic characters they bring a lot of value to this game the only gripe i have on the SOR3 characters are Dr Zan and Shiva cannot participate in doing the hidden classic boss battle because they cant use the taser gun on the arcade machines. Hoping they could initiate a fix for that for us that are trying to get High Grades on levels with each character so far B's have been the only thing i can get with Dr Zan and Shiva with levels that have the classic level bosses
They already said a patch on Xbox will give this version, the same options. Anyway, I didn't realise how much I would miss the run option that came in SoR3 till I played SoR4. But is not just SoR3, but SoR Remake also, wich I played a lot, and should not be discarded when the subject is SoR.
You really can't just go and play as the different versions of a character though, they take a fair amount of Lifetime points to unlock and do so in order from the first game to the third. Weirdly I find I'm much better at the game when playing as the Streets of Rage 2 versions of the characters. I find I'm more likely to land punches, to get out of the way of a attack, and pickups are far easier to get. With the SoR4 versions I struggle to find just where I should be standing to pick things up and punches don't seem to connect when they should.
It took me beating it about 3 times to start unlocking the Streets of Rage 3 guys. It isn't something that should be hard for someone that enjoys the game.
@@SegaLordX It's not hard but it is something that needs mentioning. You can't just pick them because, as you mention, you have to play though it three times at least to get them all. I'm sorry but your video didn't make that clear.
I ran into the same problem playing the game last night with trying to pick up items, I would be directly over it and it would take 4-5 punches before the game finally said "OKAY ALREADY!" and gave it to me, and it was almost always in situations where I was about to lose a life and REALLY needed it.
@@lazarushernandez5827 I was using classic controls and was playing using my fightstick (Steam version), didn't realize that there was an assigned pick up button for the new layout but either way it should still work with the classic. Hoping it get's patched!
Im still waiting for my physical copy from limited run, with the sweet genesis case. I really hate waiting, and thanks x for bringing that to our attention. Im suprised to hear about the x box version not having those options, a week behind on the update?
Whats strange is its not like the Xbox cant have those features? Its like devs said lock them out. Just to make the other 2 consoles a little more enticing. Also the retro levels are in there. So why did the dev disable those features?
I REALLY liked how SOR4 gameplay is based on SOR 2, because I never liked SOR3, in fact I don’t even count it as “canon”. I havw always seen SOR 3 as an updated version of SOR2 like the hyper fighting street fighter 2 or umk3. not to mention that the american SOR3 looks more like a rom hack off of sor 2 than a sequel.
i wonder why the xbox version doesnt have this. man i love streets of rage 4 so much. Its going to take a while to master, and i can't seem to put it down which is another great sign of a great game. Great video! :)
The patch to put them in the game is going through certification by Microsoft so it's rolling out slower than the other versions. It will have all the same options soon.
@@urbanstrider. It shouldn't need a patch. It's supposed to be there day one. The devs were intentionally trying to shortchange XBOX owners and got caught. Then they have the nerve to use the bullshit excuse that it's Microsoft's fault. Fuck those developers, as well as Sega.
I like SoR2 more than SoR3 but I still felt that more SoR 4 characters should have had a roll or/and dash move. I think it is something a 2020 beat them up can't really leave aside.
Hopefully they'll update the Xbox version someday. And I wouldn't mind a better ending. Right when the final boss is defeated.... BOOM!!! Credits!!! What happened? I'm no hater I love this game. I've been a fanboy of SoR (especially the gorgeous music of 1 and 2) since '94.
I've heard of a number of filters available on the PC, but on my PC Im just not seeing them. I don't know its because its linked to my Xbox account that it downloads an Xbox version.

I bought the game, have not gotten to it yet, but I was looking at various reviews about it, but really I'm glad you came around with the game on this channel. Thank you.
Thanks for the update Mel, I'm sure the patch will add these features. In the meantime, I'm playing it on Hard setting and really enjoying it.
Hey! I'm the guy who asked for pixel graphics in the last video. Thanks !
And a big miss for SOR3 character, they dont add stars system from SOR3 ... !
Let the developers know on their FB and Twitter you'd like to see leaderboards for all the characters and a legacy run/roll added in a future update. Most devs listen to their fans at least a little these days.
Awesome update vid. I'm an Xbox head but I definitely appreciate the info on the other versions.
Some of you fucks bitch about everything and anything.
Sounds nitpicky in my opinion. The fact that most Beat-em Ups back then don't use run abilities that much anyway. Also if you like to dash around just pick Cherry Hunter or Adam Hunter (Dash), if not pick any of the Pixel Characters since they all play differently.
Don't play the game. Problem solved.
Seriously good gaming channel, great work man
Played it past night. Immediately loved it and immediately said to myself they need to make comic zone remaster.
Im glad i ordered the switch physical version.
There's nothing to complain about this game. They pretty much gave us everything we wanted, including old characters and old music.
Lizardcube's twitter page also mentioned this: "Hello, unfortunately the GOG version of the game won’t be supporting online features"
The Xbox game pass version also has missing settings seen on the Steam version. I ended up getting the Switch version, so I can play on the go. I have been enjoying this game so far, but I wished online play was more smoother, it can get very laggy.
Man I've been playing this on switch, with the sega genesis 6 button arcade pad. It's been a great weekend!
Mr. Y has a deep laugh in the Xbox version as well. In the other versions it's wimpier.
ESTEL!! ESTEL!!! ESTEL!!!
I agree. I think it plays superbly and the variety in the characters is nothing short of genre defining. They're all so different.
I like Adam, Cherry Hunter, Blaze, and Skate for speed purposes on surival mode. Overall I'm a die hard fan of this game.
If anyone is interested, there's a GREAT rom hack of SOR2 called "Streets of Rage 2 Ultra" (I think it's the 2018 one). Really modernizes SOR2 and speeds up gameplay, and feels a bit more badass.
SOR remake is the godly version of all versions
Remake. God-Tier.... That’s all you need
Was just playing this! Think I’m on level 11! Game is fire 🔥 I’m playing on PC GamePass.
need run and roll for all caracters
You can see why they DIDN'T do this though. Run and Roll was only in 3...a game for years many said was the worst game in the series. Why bring back stuff from a game the fandom said they HATED?
@@miroku888 i love the game, but the gameplay evolved in 3, they should keep the gameplay or improve it, I disagree with 3 being the worst in the series.
I'm talking about less tough and more dynamic gameplay
Well done for coming back to address these things, I think you're better off re-uploading both videos as one for consistency's sake, that way when someone watches your SOR4 video months from now they won't be scratching their heads
Hands down the greatest sor game ever.
Adam is playable LORD X.
I was pretty clear how to unlock the retro characters in the original video. I don't think there was any confusion.
I'm trying to wait for my limited switch version. It's gonna be hard.
Same here buddy
To experience a more retro feel I recommend to use, like myself, a 8bitdo M30 controller, it's great
I'd have to say 4 is probably my 2nd favorite in the series, largely thanks to all the content and options it gives us in addition to that classic SOR action.
Your videos are dope. I don't know why I didn't subscribe earlier.
I tweeted the developers about the video settings missing from the Xbox version and they confirmed they are making a patch update soon. So is Xbox owners need not worry. But if there are any Xbox players make sure to tweet them too to make sure they hurry up with this Xbox update.
Missed having an invincible grand upper
Great update. Lizardcube did so much for so many for so cheap it blows my mind. You can pinch me cuz I must be dreaming that in 2020 we have this kind of justice coming our way. Yes, LizardCube, Dotemu and Guard Crush should be household names.
Nice follow up, hopefully a comix zone 2 can be greenlit.
Idk about you guys but I just really like the sound of SLX voice, he should consider voiceover or voice acting work
Nice video, thanks that the developers are going to fix this, by the way, are you going to review the new Sakura Wars?
I'll cover it eventually but it's too much game for me at the moment. I just don't have the time.
Yes I don't have play as fat out of shape Axel!!! I can play as 90's Axel👍
It's really strange that those visual options are not in the video menu for the Xbox version. Especially since the Xbox version still has those modes they're used when you play the arcade cabinet levels so it's not like it's not there you just can't choose to turn it on yourself for some reason. Maybe they'll patch it back in.
Are you planning to do a review of SEGA AGES G-LOC on Switch?
omg, I just unlocked SOR3 Axel and I completely forgot he could run in 3, hahaha!! thanks for reminding me, now I MUST unlock Blaze3 as well....
STILL, the majority of new game is designed around the characters who can't run and it's actually very refreshing and I thing it's a better decision in the long run.. In my eyes SOR4 is an official SOR2 Remake! :DD
Please.... Tell me how it’s a better thing in the long run the characters can run. I need to hear this.
Only 2 things about this that bummed me out was the lack of dashing/rolling and the special meter. Other than that this game us a masterpiece.
So glad with dedication this game get from the devs, I instantly bought on Steam (wish it is also on GOG) after your 1st impression without any hesitation and surely Im not dissapointed at all especially knowing Axle from SOR 3 play like fans wish here. Oh yeah, you still forgot to said it :
It PLAYS like Streets of Rage.
It LOOKS like Streets of Rage.
It SOUNDS like Streets of Rage.
It FEELS like Streets of Rage.
Edit : Its apparently released on GOG, but I didnt remember any reviews I read mention that ...
"It PLAYS like Streets of Rage.
It LOOKS like Streets of Rage.
It SOUNDS like Streets of Rage.
It FEELS like Streets of Rage."
But it doesn't
@@worsel555 Did you go back to classic controls? I've been playing with the new control scheme, that assigns a button to pick up objects.
@@lazarushernandez5827 I was using classic controls and was playing using my fightstick (Steam version), didn't realize that there was an assigned pick up button for the new layout but either way it should still work with the classic. Hoping it get's patched!
The PC version has mods already. Playable SoR4 Shiva and soon Estel.
Nice! Thank you.
I want there to be dlc for this seriously we can only dream what would be possible.
Did you see the extra video options are in the Xbox version now? 😁
Thanks lord. I own the PS4 version.
i wonder why the xbox version doesnt have this. man i love streets of rage 4 so much.
The exclusion of the filters on the Xbox and Microsoft Store version doesn’t bother me. Everything else is there
I like SoR2 more than SoR3 but I still felt that more SoR 4 characters should have had a roll or/and dash move. I think it is something a 2020 beat them up can't really leave aside.
Hopefully Xbox will come out with an update to add these video options.
1:14 nice
Hopefully they'll update the Xbox version someday. And I wouldn't mind a better ending. Right when the final boss is defeated.... BOOM!!! Credits!!! What happened? I'm no hater I love this game. I've been a fanboy of SoR (especially the gorgeous music of 1 and 2) since '94.
I've heard of a number of filters available on the PC, but on my PC Im just not seeing them. I don't know its because its linked to my Xbox account that it downloads an Xbox version.
Just to answer my own question, apparently Xbox game pass is a version behind. They are getting is sorted so all the filters will be available soon.
Cheers mate love your content aways.
Even your short sharp should have done this vid 👍✌️
I want a Shinobi 4 from these devs
Is scale line a built in the game option?
Why the hell doesn't the Xbone version have those features? Weird.
Why didn't they include the retro filters on the xone version???? I'd love to play SoR3 Axel with the retro filter on. That's garbage.
Wish you could switch on the retro filter from the beginning it looks 100x better than the new style
I hope they bring back splatter house🙏🙏
