    Acrylic pouring: Fluid art
My pouring medium used for my current work is a pre mix of 70% “Mont marte clear craft glue and 30% warm water, (most pva glues can be made up with same ratios to make a pouring medium), I add my pouring medium to my paint slowly until I achieve the consistency of pouring cream, approximately 50/50 more pm if needed.
My paint brands mostly used are the Mont marte studio acrylics, dimensions, or pouring paints, Boom Gel stain.
When iv mixed my paints I add 2-4 drops maximum of Helmar silicone, also Australian made, I stir in well.
I always like to mix up my paints and add silicone the day before I’m going to paint, and cover with a damp cloth, as I have found I have much better results.

Hello from the Outer Banks of North Carolina, USA. I have wanted an artist to show us viewers how to fix paintings that turn out poorly. I cannot believe every effort turns out beautifully. So your video today was a blessing. You pressed on, trying not to mess up paints and canvas. A great lesson! I am watching 4-6 videos a day to learn. I have not started my own pours yet but have a slew of materials on an Amazon list. I'm 73 and have to wait for my next Social Security check to make my purchase. I'm itching to get started! And the saying is "make a silk purse out of a sow's ear". Get rid of that cold!

Thank you for the nice comments. At this time you are on line. I am 72, in Alaska, it is 3:36 pm. I have a small shop and have 3 gift stores that have my material. I also do farmer marker in our Willow community. So every everything i do something for a new item. This year it is Acrylic Pouring. I am having a problem, my apartment is above a garage. For making a drying area, i wanted a large area, and it is not able to lift the whole table. So i am trying different places. I have a cool shop in cool country, so am expecting a longer drying time. I enjoy you because i was a homesteader in Alaska (waterless/sewerless and half of the time without electricity. In 1988 i tried to a cattle ranch on the Sterling Hiway. Alot of Alaska and australie common things. blessings

I absolutely LOVE you, and you inspire me everytime I watch your videos. Everything you said is how I feel, never fear our mistakes because its a lesson learned. What is important is how you act or react in these situation. It's easy to be all happy and generous when everything is good but what if it's not? How do you handle it? Life is ever changing and chaotic at times, everytime you make a plan life changes it. So all you can control is you, and freaking out over small stuff is a waste of energy. You are a beautiful soul please keep teaching me and everyone else what that looks like. I wish you nothing but 🌈 rainbows

Just discovered your wonderful art work last night.
Yellow tail black cockatoos live on the mountain where I live on the mid north coast of New South Wales.... They love to come and eat the banksia nuts near our house. They make an extra sound at the end of their normal call when it is going to rain, I have been told by a local man who has lived here a long time.
Love your commentary and perseverance. Bless you.

So cool even though it wasn't as you wanted. Good to know you can make a great save from a fail.

Thanks so much for showing what to do when your original acrylic pour is a failure. Great recovery and very beautiful balloon kisses on your canvases!!!
I attempted my first balloon kiss canvas today and am quite pleased with how it turned out. Will send you a photo of it when dried. 😃
