Clare, I have literally just this minute finished reading your memoir, ‘your own kind of girl’. AMAZING. I had heard your name, but never listened to your music before. This is the first time I have listened to your music, … just BEAUTIFUL. Through this, and your book, you have inspired me beyond words. I too am Melbourne raised, have dealt with mental illness, and could relate to mostly everything in your story.. the music, weight issues, the childbirth…I had tears at the end of the last chapter. Once again I am profoundly reminded that I need to write my own memoir, for you have shown me, yes, I have so much to share… Thankyou.. you are amazing..
And you have helped me to believe, that maybe one day, I can be on the bookshelves too. ❤️
