You taking that bus down to the bones, I been doing a lot of metal work on my bus; I'm 64 and have health issues so my bus project is (Off & On) getting some help from my son and is friend while I'm in the healing process.. I was thinking about installing a Subaru in my 64; I have the conversion kit, need to find the motor and wiring--My 67 will keep stock. Nice work!!!
I need to do some similar work. My common sense solution was to use cardboard and make a template to fabricate the repair section, just as you have done. So I didn't learn what to do from your video as such, but it was reassuring to see you tackle it the same way, and confirm my thinking, and show how it's done. Of course, I'm not using a nice shiny sheet of metal, it's the side off my old central heating boiler for me.
It is what I have, my Lincoln welder does not have gas.... I am looking for something decent to replace it, but until that I will make do with what I have. ;)
What are you working on?

I did indeed take it down to the bones. Good luck with the conversion and a speedy recovery!
Enjoying those close ups of the body work, zoomed camera view really helps. Great series.
Thanks! Appreciate the feedback;)

Thanks Gary 👍 not sure if how I did it is the correct way or not but glad others have the same thoughts 😊
@@SVsAuto "Correct" Pah! If it works, it works. My other vehicle's a '67 Land Rover, so I don't have to worry about rusty panels on that at least.
Great repair !!!
Thank you!
awesome job, what gauge of sheet metal are you using?
If I remember correctly I was using 16 gauge on the pillar
Nice job man. What setting do you have your welder on?
Thanks dude, it is set on A and speed between 1 and 2
Why are you using flux core?
