I will never understand why Waluigi needs to be added.
His sole purpose is just sports and party inclusion.

It's not that he _needs_ to be added.
And yes, he was actually created to simply fill the slot for a Partner of Wario in tennis, but over the years through websites and manuals, they've still given him a decent bit of story and personality on his own. Me and a lot of others simply think he's a funny but also interesting character, and would like to see him explored further.
Personally I'd like to see him in one of Wario's games, especially considering he was made to be his partner and everything.

I always loved the wario land games over the mario games. Mario gets hurt and dies from touching a turtle. Wario gets pushed back so then charges back harder
