Thanks Matt! Yeah it was a complete coincidence that Jordan and I ordered these blades at the same time lol. But we have different selections of fans so our comparison videos won’t be exactly the same.
That 14" bladeset is interesting to me. It almost looks like what would happen if GE took the Vortalex blade, and crossed it with their 5 element plastic blade. I also like the original blue blade, if they sold those fans here I'd get it.
I like that 14” bladeset too. It seems to be quite well optimized for air movement without being noisy or bogging down the motor. Perhaps the Vortalex blade design is the reason why. Same, the original blades were the reason why I decided to buy the fan lol. It’s one of those rigid plastic blades which is pretty cool.
Yes it did, which is quite strange. I investigated after recording this video and I guess the bearings were too dry from the factory. I oiled it and it’s running even better than when I first got it.
I sold many fans earlier this year, to clear up space in the workshop and let go of ones I don’t use. The Canarm was one of them. I still have nearly all of the Supers.
good video and blade swapping the fan blades out i enjoyed the video can't wait to see the next one soon
Thanks Lemont! The next one will be coming soon.
I like it Superman fan have a nice day have a absolute wonderful day great work Superman fan
Thanks. Glad you liked it.
Great video on testing the blades on the Westing House stand fan! Similar to what Jordan does lol.

It's funny how the oscillation button was dancing
That's pretty cool I do a lot of blade swaps on box fans
Thanks! That’s cool!

Great video dude - makes me chuckle how shallow the pitch is on modern fans as the motors are weak and cheap lol.
Thanks! I agree. It’s comical how cheap fans are getting nowadays!
I have waiting the tests of all those blades on your 1968 Super 16S desk fan. I'm curious honestly.
Yep, that video will be coming up next in this series!
This is very interesting.
Glad you liked it! :)
Did the motor just locked up a bit?
Yes it did, which is quite strange. I investigated after recording this video and I guess the bearings were too dry from the factory. I oiled it and it’s running even better than when I first got it.
Can you make a video of this fan using the 12" canarm table fan grills and blades
I no longer have that Canarm fan, so unfortunately I won’t be able to do it.
@@TheSuperFanMan what happened
@@TheSuperFanMan what about Super desk fan

Cool man!
Thanks!
The third blade set sounds just like my Xpelair GX9 which has 11 blades lol
Yeah the characteristic buzzing sound from all of those blades!
10:08 this looked like a white disc while spinning 9 blade fan
Is part 3 coming soon?
Yes! Either this coming weekend or the next.
these very cheap oscillation boxes usually keep the pin moving even when stopped
That would certainly make sense. A lot of cheap parts are often poorly molded which would result in unusual wobbles.
2:06. That sounds like a leafblower.
that would really make a difference with air and speeds.
The five blade black one has a sticker do not stick fingers in to the rotating fan blade
Super!
Thanks.
Bellissimi. Mi piacciono molto
Thank! Glad you liked it.
Dancing pin made me laugh
Haha me too! I have no idea what’s up with that oscillator knob.
How do you re
