I know it's not your fault, but too bad you didn't get a seat a couple more rows back so there'd be less of the wing in the way. This is still a very good video though 7:00:30 - looks like a meal you've been served, by reflection in window. What was it? How was it, and other meals/snacks you were served? Just making a guess for fun, but I guess that when it became dark outside (around 6:00:00), you were flying somewhere over Georgia, Azerbaijan, or the Capsian Sea. And when it became light out again (around 11:52:00 - 11:55:00), you were over Eastern China, either somewhere around Nanchang or Huanggang. And that meal at 7:00:30, somewhere over Turkmenistan or maybe Uzbekistan. I know it's sorta funny but I like making these kinds of guesses whenever we can't figure it out for sure. You would've been able to find those out for sure by flicking on the flight map screen. But for me since that wasn't shown in this video, it was a fun guess
Cool I really like your comment and all the analysis you made :) Once I have the time I will edit and upload the trip report for that flight. But unfortunately I lack a bit the time to edit it
@@nolde10 Actually, you may not be aware of this, but you have at least one totally blind listener. I kid you not. Yes, I really enjoy listening to and/or sleeping to part of the ultralong flights, so could you please tell us which seat you were in? Thanks very much.
Have you considered using a binaural mic to improve the audio quality? It'll help tremendously to make it sound like we're actually onboard with you, and I know it'll really boost the audio quality. It opens up the sound so much and makes the engine buzz and everything else "come alive", as I like to put it. Being totally blind, I really love it when the audio quality matches the visual quality, as I know how important the two are when capturing every sound. When the audio is compressed like this is, it's actually worse on the vestibular nerve, because it compresses the sound toward the inner ear, and this can result in a buzzing or hissing sound if you listen to this with headphones. Hope this helps.
Hi there, thank you very much for your appealing comment and the good hint! I have now read a bit about that technology and came across that it is not so cheap but I'd love to try to give you an even better experience! :-) Nonetheless, have videos coming up which were recorded using my new GoPro Hero 12 Black where the sound quality already is way better then in this video which was recorded using a GoPro Hero 4. Thanks also for being a loyal subscriber!
Nettes Video! 👍

Thanks brother!

I will fly the same way on 1st November. My question is: How many hours before the flight did you go to the check-in counter?
2.5 Hours :)
How did you upload the video which is over 12 hours ? I upload it then UA-cam said the video is too long ( max. 12 hours )
I have no Idea why :)

is this your longest flight
Definitely one of my longest :)
I am going to fly Frankfurt-Taipei in December and just want to ask if you still have to use a mask with China Airways? I hate masks 🙂
No more masks required with China Airlines :)
Thanks 🙂 now I am happy 🙂@@nolde10
How did you cheat the 12 hour limit 😈
Good connections to youtube :D
@@nolde10 I have now assigned you the task of uploading every flight longer than 12 hours as you're the only one who can 😃
@@ScapoloMichaelI’ll do that 🎉 and I’have already uploaded a Cathay Pacific flight longer than that. Check my channel if you like :)
