I love kerastase products, but the scent of their products, specially the new ones, is so strong. Curl Manifest gave me major headache and it made me nauseous. After 6 hrs with the leave-in I had to wash my hair all over again :(
I love Kerastase so much because even though my hair is fine I always need to use a mask as conditioner (my hair is just way too dry without) and theirs never weighs it down. You can’t beat their products IMO.
I wish people would know that sulfate free does not automatically mean more gentle. There are sulfate shampoos that are more gentle than sulfate free shampoos. It's all about the formulation. Just trust Kerastase, they know what theyre doing 👍
i have dull virgin hair, and i already bought the gloss before watching this video. Maybe I was doing something wrong but It literally did nothing to my hair.
I used Olaplex in the last two months but I feel like Kerastase made my hair look better, I bleach a lot. Even though Olaplex has better ingredients. Should I go back to Kerastase? I need your professional opinion please. Also, can you give me any tips for achieving that silver smexy hair color?
I agree. I've used Kerastase and Loreal Expert for a long time. I've tried Olaplex and it does heal my damaged hair well. However, Kerastase Therapiste with the fusio dose vita ciment serum still looks better on my hair texture. They're just part of my hair, so to speak. Olaplex is like giving a coat of shine but doesn't absorb into the hair.
Hi Mike, My hair is naturally thick and hard to tangle, I tried the Mask is amazing. But the clear shampoo with lactic acid was so hard for me to wash my hair. I had to put a lot of amount and effort in order to get my hair clean. I think this shampoo is not suitable for thick hair at all. This was my case, but I really love this line , the thermoprotection is absolutely gorgeous, leave a nice silky coat on my ends. Thank you for your nice review.
I had the serum today as I fell in love with the result after a correction of my highlights and ( of course ) had to come and see if you’ve got a review! I also had a fusio- dose mask for hydration + shine (blonde level 7.1 naturally and light blonde balayage with highlights) and I am in love! That thick hair is finally rid of texture and feels silky and smooth 😍
Thank you for posting this. I got my hair coloured recently it’s a reddish brown balayage where the is colour directly applied on my dark black hair. I’ve started using the Chroma absolu range after watching this. My hair feels amazing. However do you recommend using a blue shampoo like the Alfaparf or is this range enough? I want to avoid copper/ brass tones once the colour fades. Also would you suggest the green mask from this range instead?

I have blonde strands, darker golden strands and my natural hair color which is light brown. I have dry, wavy hair that is lacking shine and I really don't know which kerastase series could be the right one for me.

I tried this line based on this review and sad to say NOT a fan. I just feel for thick hair this shampoo and mask don't provide enough moisture. I love the idea of sulfate free, so if anythingI say try the shampoo but for sue pass on this conditioner it isn't nearly moisturizing enough in my opinion. The shampoo is ok , just feel like if you are someone who works out a lot or uses lots of product this shampoo doesn't feel like it cleans well and def. doesn't moisturize . My hair feels dry. I'll keep this as a travel set but will go back to pureology which is better at keeping my hair soft while protecting my color I wasn't a fan of the scent either. I used the damaged hair line by kerateese in the past and that was great....this color protect is a pass for sure.

I am very surprised at the results. I think it gives a shine but most important made hair lush and hair seems stronger and smoother. I have very long hair, fine texture but lots of it. My hair is moderately coarse, thick, and naturally curly. Biggest issues are the coarseness(lacks softness, pliability) and frizz. Any products recs, shampoo & conditioner??
Use the new Kerastase Chroma Absolute for medium to thick hair. Don’t over wash your hair. Then follow with conditioner, but only put on neck down to ends. Wrap hair in towel, then add a dime size of karastase resistance serum therapists to your hair. It’s a leave in that helps you comb out the hair, and protects from the heat of blow dryer. Let hair air dry a bit first, then use good quality round styling brushes. I use Olivia Garden brushes medium and large. After hair is dry spray a little shine oil in hand, rub together in hands then run through hair. I only wash my hair once a week.

I have used lot of volumizing shampoos including Kerastase Densifique shampoo, viviscal gorgeous growth shampoo, L'occitane body and strength shampoo and others shampoos but didn't work on my hair, after using those shampoos my hair became dry. Plz reply which shampoo is best for hair thickening and volumizing??? thanks
Try Aveda brand.. i think product is called Abundance shampoo... also try using volume specific conditioner and i dont know if you blow dry your hair or let it dry naturally, but if blowdry, try to do it upside down... use rollers overnight if you can for volume...hope these tricks help.
I get you. I have tried many of kerastase range for many years now. They are great shampoos but their claims are bogus, like many other brands. No shampoo can add volumes to your hair, add shine, moisturise your hair. Kerastase is a great range but I won’t believe in their claims. It’s just marketing.
Mike, do you think Redken Color Extend Magnetics or Kerastase Chroma Absolu is better for color treated damaged hair?? I do not like intensive perfume smell of the Redken Color Extend Series, but the results are great though.
@@MikeDeCanter I have now tested Chroma Absolu, (Bain Riche, Chroma Gloss and Chroma Filler Mask). I almost didn't buy this series because you said the scent was stronger than Redken Color Extend Magnetics. The scent is indeed much stronger than that of other Kerastase products like Resistance, but not as penetrating and long lasting as from the Redken range. Especially the gloss has a penetrating taste that really hits my tongue after application, I know this from Redken Lamellar Water. L'Oréal Professionel has the best handle on this. The Vitamino Color Acidic Seal Water smells good, but you do not taste it on the tongue.
Heya! I’m curious, why do you have to apply the gloss directly from the nozzle to your hair? Can you not squeeze into your palm, rub together, and then apply like any other conditioner?

if you dont like the smell of Redken you wont like chroma absolu. its so much more intense
