Personally I think you’re putting far too much much emphasis on lore when it comes to the quality of mods. I mean, isn’t the main reason to play a game gameplay? I’d argue that it’s much more important to have solid level and game design over new characters/lore. Also, many mods change up the story to not be “.. just a guy going back in time to eat a taco again.” Not to mention dialogue as well. Personally I’m curious how you view story changes that don’t add new lore.
I really like everything that they're doing to not make these events feel repetitive, like having levels set in other worlds and the introduction of new characters (that hate boss man in some way)

I feel like those level are too good to be only time limited levels. They should put all thymed events in a separate world like they did with epic quests.
Nanny is the zombie woman in the thumbnail, from the video, where she first appears in 12:52, she is one of Zomboss’ high-level command zombies, and replaces him as the zombie commander for this event, much like that General Zombie during that Herocon event for reflourished a while back. But instead of specializing in using missiles and squad formations, she uses swarms of imps as her strategy, hence why she is dubbed “The Nanny”. Frankly from the dialog, she hates her job of being the babysitter for all the imps. She also came with a unique subtitle font, entrance theme, and intro animation. Pretty nice for Reflourished to add more characters into the Zomboss Army and flesh out the zombie faction’s command structure. So far, we have two Commander level zombies exclusive to only special events, that being this Nanny, and the General, cannot wait for them to show more Commanders, I have my ballot for Tugboat being next.
That's why PVZ fans does a better job than what EA Does. And we do need some more female zombies since the majority of the zombies are all dudes and such
Can anyone tell me how to download this mod because after installing apk it only show download ing from server and nothing happened,with obb it doesn't recognise automatically delete the obb file.

The fact that the mod adds lore and not just pointless fighting of zombies makes this one of the best if not the best pvz2 mods

they have a google doc thing full of all thymed event levels and some other stuff; though it requires some file movey stuff to get em in game
