Why does this make me think of a gravity falls show set in a victorian-esque steampunk universe where dipper and Mable are more mature and bill cypher is more of a threat, a world where they must play the political system as well as the magical one, a world where dipper and Mable become demon hunters and are a force to truly be reckoned with, a show with darker themes and a larger plot and truly wrenching emotions, Like if that sounds interesting, If only someone made it a reality.
I honestly would enjoy listening to it while getting beat up by some dumb boss that wants my soul or whatever but I have to get its soul so the devil wont steal mine but i cant its painful help

Bill fiddles with the record player, shape shifts into a more human/dapper form, and drags them onto the dance floor. Bust a move Pine tree!
I listened to this when it first came out, not knowing Gravity Falls and just enjoying the swing. Now, I am utterly enamored by Gravity Falls after watching it multiple times, and found this in my recommended. It's great to hear this again after falling in love with the show! Also, I now realize that Mabel's dress is the same one from Northwest Mansion Mystery (S2 E10).
I cant understand why Disney doesn't do a sequel to this show, like pick up next summer when Mabel and Dipper are a year or more older. Disney seems to have a bit of a phobia towards animated TV shows, they kill off successful animated shows in favor of lower budget live action.

Okay, I know this is 2 years late, but I came up for an au around this remix, inspiried by the Lovecraft/Cthulu (also know as Yog'Sothothory) mythos In the 1920s, Dipper and Mabel Lovecraft live in the big city of New York, but for one day, their parents send them out to the small town of Innsmoth to to spend the summer with their Grunkle, Howard Phillips Lovecraft, where he employs them to work at his tourist trap, the Mystery Shack, where he displays "eldritch beings and oddities from strange places". The twins can tell it's all fake, and while Mabel still manages to enjoy it, Dipper has some trouble. He eventually finds a strange journal from an anonymous author, in which he learns not only are the eldritch beings and other monsters real, but there is a conspiracy not only surrounding the town, but the entire planet: One that could spell the end for humanity. The journal is not clear in what this conspiracy is, so Dipper makes it his mission to discover it. After many other encounters with strange and scary monsters, mysterious cults and legends, the Necronomicon itself, and some more classic 1920s classic action, they eventually learn that their Grunkle is infarct *not* H.P Lovecraft, but it is instead his brother, who is the author of the journal Dipper finds. The rest I'm still unsure on.
You may be wondering about Bill Cipher. While the villain of this story would look and act much like Bill, he would actually be Nyaralathotep, one of the most powerful eldritch gods, who is not only egyptian (so, pyramids) themed, but also loves messing with humans.

Though I might see it as a haunted radio or something, especially as Soos and the Real Girl relies on tech that was effectively new even if the basics were old; since radio was in late 1800s, and mass broadcast radio was ~early 1920s Soos finding a program/station he liked listening to, only slowly uncovering that it was a kind of independent sentient mind/spirit created by various radio waves coalescing could well fit the theming surprisingly tightly. Huh. I did not think that would work, but here we are. Alternately, of course, a gramophone/record player with a fancy quasi-automated disc changer - not strictly a ‘20s tech, but close enough to various that it wouldn’t matter/would be feasible and not out of place. That might work even better as .GIFany (I don’t know how to recreate that pun; maybe “tiPhony” or something) and would be extra super creepy when she started appearing on the radio. I’unno.

During a battle which leads the kids to the basement (I'm not 100% on Gravity falls lore but I'll do my best with this) they are pushed into The portal (Or someone summons a portal that sucks them and maybe some other characters in) and reappear in the 1920s or so, they meet their grown up grandparents (Maybe great grandparents) and team up with them in an attempt to get back to the future, it would probably involve a lot of dancing. But would get serious because the ability to get forward in time would be highly protected, forcing them all and some grandparents of the rest of them, to try and steal the tech, all the while the universe threatens to tear itself apart due to the anomaly. Despite being jolly with the dancing and epic music, it would also have dark undertones, such as the dipper and Mabel of that time being professionals and known for defeating the supernatural. All the while being under assault by the real world and the illnesses

I think the glitch at 1:12, while not intentional, actually adds to the song. It just... feels right, like a nod to the (not so) subtle off-ness of Gravity Falls.
I've listened to your song so many times and only just now read that the glitch at 1:12 isn't supposed to be there. I didn't know, i thought it's intentional and i like it. It gives a little hint of reality glitch like i would expect from Bill when he arrives.
This got me inspired so alright, here's my picth for Mafia's Fall. The Pines family is the biggest mafia family in Oregon. Dipper and Mabel are being sent over to their grand uncle Stan (The mafia boss), while their parents are expanding the buisness in California. Soos is Stan's right hand man. Maybe Soos isn't the brightest, but when Stan needs something done, Soos takes care of it. Wendy is technicly Stan's assistant, but she dosen't do anything if she can get away with it. The only reason she is around, is because of her dad. Her dad is one of Stan's most legendary henchmen, only known as "The Woodsman". I have ideas for more than just the maincast. But since this is only a pitch there it is. I got pretty excited. Personally i also think we should make Soos and anyone younger 4 years older, so you would be able to do more stuff with them in the mafia environment, (that also means a possible Dipper/Wendy romance for you shippers out there).
I get ya. Shippers are the worst. In most fanfic, you can se a shipper the instant their ship is introduced. Im just making room for a posibility. Honestly i would rather have a Dipper/OC or some sidecharater that dosn't get that much attention in the show. Fx in this one, Dipper/Candy could become something more than just a gag. I love this idea. Also, I can think of something myself. I'm gonna outline it for you guys. It all starts with Filbrick (is that how his name is spelled? I don't know!). He was the founder of the family and his two sons Stan and Ford worked for him when they were younger, but they were only twenty when their father was shot, probably by a member of a hostile family, but nobody knows for sure. The twins had a fight about who should take his place, but came to the agreement that Stan should take their fathers business, while Ford would go his own way and start a new business with his part of the heritage. Along his way, Ford met a man named Bill Cipher, who would become his right-hand-man and closest friend, but at one point, Bill decided to betray Ford and take over the business. He took Ford's wife and daughter as hostages to force his former friend to stay and work with him, however, Fiddleford, another one of Ford's friends, escaped and, before Bill could find him, informed Stan about the ongoing situation. Stan hesitated to do anything at first (Quote: "Our arrangement also said that neither of us should interfere in the other's affairs."), but Fiddleford convinced him and he went with some of his men to help his brother. They did save Ford, however, his wife and daughter where killed and though it was Bill who had shot them, Ford blamed it on Stan. He again went his own way and it took Stan thirty years to find him (basically this story's version of the whole lost-in-the-portal thing) and convince him to come back and work with him. Another point (I'm not quite sure about that one yet): Bill is believed to be human by most people, however, he is very nasty, cunning, ruthless and hard to kill or get rid of, that is why his enemies and even many of his own men call him a demon, plus there are rumors that he traded his soul to an actual demon to become one himself, but nobody knows for sure except Bill and, if it should be true, said other demon.

Okay, I know this is 2 years late, but I came up for an au around this remix, inspiried by the Lovecraft/Cthulu (also know as Yog'Sothothory) mythos In the 1920s, Dipper and Mabel Lovecraft live in the big city of New York, but for one day, their parents send them out to the small town of Innsmoth to to spend the summer with their Grunkle, Howard Phillips Lovecraft, where he employs them to work at his tourist trap, the Mystery Shack, where he displays "eldritch beings and oddities from strange places". The twins can tell it's all fake, and while Mabel still manages to enjoy it, Dipper has some trouble. He eventually finds a strange journal from an anonymous author, in which he learns not only are the eldritch beings and other monsters real, but there is a conspiracy not only surrounding the town, but the entire planet: One that could spell the end for humanity. The journal is not clear in what this conspiracy is, so Dipper makes it his mission to discover it. After many other encounters with strange and scary monsters, mysterious cults and legends, the Necronomicon itself, and some more classic 1920s classic action, they eventually learn that their Grunkle is infarct *not* H.P Lovecraft, but it is instead his brother, who is the author of the journal Dipper finds. The rest I'm still unsure on.
You may be wondering about Bill Cipher. While the villain of this story would look and act much like Bill, he would actually be Nyaralathotep, one of the most powerful eldritch gods, who is not only egyptian (so, pyramids) themed, but also loves messing with humans.

(I’m presupposing the idea is “made in the -twenties” vibe a cool 50+ years prior to the ‘76 release of VHS.)
Though I might see it as a haunted radio or something, especially as Soos and the Real Girl relies on tech that was effectively new even if the basics were old; since radio was in late 1800s, and mass broadcast radio was ~early 1920s Soos finding a program/station he liked listening to, only slowly uncovering that it was a kind of independent sentient mind/spirit created by various radio waves coalescing could well fit the theming surprisingly tightly.
Huh. I did not think that would work, but here we are. Alternately, of course, a gramophone/record player with a fancy quasi-automated disc changer - not strictly a ‘20s tech, but close enough to various that it wouldn’t matter/would be feasible and not out of place. That might work even better as .GIFany (I don’t know how to recreate that pun; maybe “tiPhony” or something) and would be extra super creepy when she started appearing on the radio. I’unno.

During a battle which leads the kids to the basement (I'm not 100% on Gravity falls lore but I'll do my best with this) they are pushed into The portal (Or someone summons a portal that sucks them and maybe some other characters in) and reappear in the 1920s or so, they meet their grown up grandparents (Maybe great grandparents) and team up with them in an attempt to get back to the future, it would probably involve a lot of dancing. But would get serious because the ability to get forward in time would be highly protected, forcing them all and some grandparents of the rest of them, to try and steal the tech, all the while the universe threatens to tear itself apart due to the anomaly. Despite being jolly with the dancing and epic music, it would also have dark undertones, such as the dipper and Mabel of that time being professionals and known for defeating the supernatural. All the while being under assault by the real world and the illnesses

This got me inspired so alright, here's my picth for Mafia's Fall.
The Pines family is the biggest mafia family in Oregon. Dipper and Mabel are being sent over to their grand uncle Stan (The mafia boss), while their parents are expanding the buisness in California. Soos is Stan's right hand man. Maybe Soos isn't the brightest, but when Stan needs something done, Soos takes care of it. Wendy is technicly Stan's assistant, but she dosen't do anything if she can get away with it. The only reason she is around, is because of her dad. Her dad is one of Stan's most legendary henchmen, only known as "The Woodsman". I have ideas for more than just the maincast. But since this is only a pitch there it is. I got pretty excited. Personally i also think we should make Soos and anyone younger 4 years older, so you would be able to do more stuff with them in the mafia environment, (that also means a possible Dipper/Wendy romance for you shippers out there).

Honestly i would rather have a Dipper/OC or some sidecharater that dosn't get that much attention in the show. Fx in this one, Dipper/Candy could become something more than just a gag. I love this idea. Also, I can think of something myself. I'm gonna outline it for you guys. It all starts with Filbrick (is that how his name is spelled? I don't know!). He was the founder of the family and his two sons Stan and Ford worked for him when they were younger, but they were only twenty when their father was shot, probably by a member of a hostile family, but nobody knows for sure. The twins had a fight about who should take his place, but came to the agreement that Stan should take their fathers business, while Ford would go his own way and start a new business with his part of the heritage. Along his way, Ford met a man named Bill Cipher, who would become his right-hand-man and closest friend, but at one point, Bill decided to betray Ford and take over the business. He took Ford's wife and daughter as hostages to force his former friend to stay and work with him, however, Fiddleford, another one of Ford's friends, escaped and, before Bill could find him, informed Stan about the ongoing situation. Stan hesitated to do anything at first (Quote: "Our arrangement also said that neither of us should interfere in the other's affairs."), but Fiddleford convinced him and he went with some of his men to help his brother. They did save Ford, however, his wife and daughter where killed and though it was Bill who had shot them, Ford blamed it on Stan. He again went his own way and it took Stan thirty years to find him (basically this story's version of the whole lost-in-the-portal thing) and convince him to come back and work with him. Another point (I'm not quite sure about that one yet): Bill is believed to be human by most people, however, he is very nasty, cunning, ruthless and hard to kill or get rid of, that is why his enemies and even many of his own men call him a demon, plus there are rumors that he traded his soul to an actual demon to become one himself, but nobody knows for sure except Bill and, if it should be true, said other demon.
