For any chill clip enthusiasts out there: rake angle just needs two shots to freeze someone so it’s freezing time is about on par with riptide and with one less shot to freeze, plus if you get an extended mag roll with overflow and chill clip and use an adept mod you can get 16 shots in the mag after picking up a special brick, 14ish of which are all able to add slow and then freeze, spread the gospel of the stasis glaive
My guy doesn’t know the power of that chill clip glaive! Also, why in the world would you want to run a Prismatic build that heavily wants you to use your class ability, and not use the fragment that increases class ability regen when you have an elemental buff, which is basically all the time? Yeah, the Winter’s Shroud aspect does some heavy lifting, but that fragment would make it basically instant if you melee something after that cooldown period has ended.
We tried that at first. The regen isn't that much faster. Also rake angle only has 20 reserve ammo where tinashas has 42. The ammo economy is just so much better. But that is the beautify of this build, it is super versatile. You don't even strictly need chill clip, it just makes your life easier with the slow procs.
@@TheDisgruntledTechnician thank you for the reply! Good to know. The glaive is technically infinite ammo with the melee tho, and that also acts as a primary weapon for ammo finder mod purposes. But yeah if you have Tinisha’s, that’s obviously good as well!
The Bakris build is the exact build I made when prismatic dropped, still use it every time I play. So fun! With artifact and potions it's even more ludacris. Also, reloading Acrius sucks. Also, liturgy with blinding and chillclip adds potential quadruple DMG bonus and survivability. LITURGY. Use orbs and powerful attraction for extra dodge regen and healing. Double powerful attraction on Bakris dodge sucks up everything, including motes 🤫
Grapple grenade + firepower + heavy handed = 2 orbs per kill. Dodge + powerful attraction + orbs of resto and/or absolution = faster class regen. Plus faster S&S so more slow.
If you're going with a chill clip fusion, perhaps the Deliverance fusion from Vow of the Disciple would be better since it takes 2 shots to freeze instead of 3 from riptide.
Bold of you to assume he has it. And riptide works better in run-and-gun builds, especialy on hunter. The lower slow stacks application from the gun itself is negated by the use of shurikens and Winter's Shroud aspect, since they provide more than enough to freeze a target by using any 2 parts of the build. The whole goal of the setup isn't even to freeze your targets anyway. All you want is your target being affected by a stasis debuff, in which case freeze is sub-optimal, as it goes away after 1 Acrious shot (of 3 that are buffed by Trench Barrel). However, I must admit that this build seems to wholy lack any recovery options outside of #OrbHealOnPickup, so your choice of weapon allowing for small bursts of healing without needing kills is a valuable addition, even if in my personal opinion (and based on the fact that my crafted Deliverance is merely level 82), the gun sucks ass in the current meta.

When i make builds i don't include artifacts mods at first. Main reason is because i've heard about people abandoning good builds because they heavily rely on artifact mods too much (for example the authorised melee and grenade artifact mods that are currently in the game as of me writing this comment) So as a rule that i made for myself is to make builds as powerful as possible on their own so the artifact mods don't feel as needed. This works out well in the long run as artifact mods are just a limited time bonus for those builds. Always worked out for me so far.
Conductive cosmic crystal is one of my fav artifact mods this season. My inmost/synthos titan mark is getting dusty. Been all about inmost/contact. Fun as hell.
