Most years a group of dedicated Jeep enthusiasts from France and beyond make a pilgrimage to Chambon sur Jeep. Chambon sur Lac is the host village, tucked somewhere between 2,864-6,178 feet up in the Massif Central mountains in central France. In fact you can see lots of old volcanos which are fortunately inactive at present.
What hits you when you first arrive is the 500 odd Jeeps that have ascended to this pretty lakeside vacation area. Willys, CJ, TJ, JK, XJ, ZJ, WJ, WH, WK, KJ Jeeps are all here in abundance.
