For the second I feel like it might be worth separating the money you would spend on xantares and getting woxic and calyx instead and then you can get chelo or kyxsan. Imo second is definitely riskier but much cooler.

Coming off the back of a 91% in Dallas playoffs, I don't even wanna talk about it... 😂 Let's just get to yalla. So my logic here with so many group matches is going to be value picks all the way. I don't care about teams, I just want the biggest bang for my buck. So let's see: baitF with a 1.23 rating for 212k? Absolutely insane value. Stavn is 220k with a 1.22 rating hahaha, what a steal of a pick wow. senzu for 207k is ridiculous, this kid is a goddamn monster. degster is also quite cheap at 209k, he's a monster of an awper. I'd even say possibly the best in this event alongside devve. kyxsan is a hit or miss, but at least he's got a solid eco fragger trigger rate, and I'm expecting Heroic to qualify for the playoffs. As for the budget 5th, I'm going with maj3r over chelo. The turk has a much better team which means more points for victories, and he also has some crazy good roles. I din't think chelo can make up for that with furia in this abysmal state. I'm not convinced by some good ratings against tier 3 & 4 teams at all, and I don't like the guy either. I cannot get behind going for a FURIA player in their current configuration, even if I get the logic. I'm going Staehr-br0-kyxsan-degster-MATYS. Of your versions, I prefer the Group A version. I think the group B version has a far higher chance of totally bombing out and giving you no chance of first going into the last event, whereas the group A version should have a good floor and still a high ceiling.
I've gone for 910, mzinho, blamF, chelo and podi. I think Mongolz have a good chance to get far in this tournament and for the rest 3 players I did as Lucy said, picked players irrespectively of their teams, just based on their value and how much they offer. I couldn't believe chelo is THIS cheap, blameF seems to always have a good rating and podi seems like a star AWPer in the making Good luck everyone!
Managed to grab 5th in the impact league finals, you can verify as my username is the same on hltv. Unfortunately missed out on the boosters for the last matches though, if I had set the boosters who knows what I could have placed but at least I got worst team in worst team wins 😄 Swapped up my draft for dallas playoffs and luckily mezii saved me on double 9z and sprit and still got 26%. I really wanted to believe in 9z 😢 I'm thinking staehr, br0, elige, kyxsan and floppy for yalla. I'd lean towards draft A because with how many matches there are in yalla, kye could rack up a lot of negative points and sink your draft and probably not a good choice to double up on furia when their team isn't in a good place. I disagree with the idea of picking players instead of teams when there are 5 group matches. That's a lot of win/loss points to go around. That to me is why maj3r is definitely worth having over chelo or anyone else, because that could be 30 points if they go 5-0. Which is hard to come by when the groups are BO1 scoring all the way. My draft is mzinho/techno4k/jabbi/staehr/maj3r. Hoping techno gets overlooked after a quieter MESA Masters than the other lads. Maybe he's not quite as good as senzu but the difference is in my opinion smaller than the difference between Staehr and br0.
i value ef/furia as similar potential in this event tbh, maybe a slight edge to ef but not so much as to think maj3r is better than chelo. but also the big sell for me is how popular maj3r is, would much prefer a less picked player imo! techno/mzihno is a very cool combo for sure!

My IEM Dallas teams didn't go well, groups was a disaster and we best performer for the playoffs was apeX lol. For this one i've gone Mine is br0, staehr, degster, chelo and 910. i actually think matys is a great pick for this, he's been farming since blameF came in, i just wish i had the cojones to pick a fnatic player
dallas was tough for me, worst even of the season so far :/ for this even ive gone for jabbi,woxic,staehr,syrsoN and maj3r i completely agree with your staehr>br0 sentement, the 8k difference is 100% worth the upgrade and what seems like on paper a very capable fragging core with only 1 igl in the team i really believe in big and had a different draft at one point of jabbi,jdc,bro,syrson and kyxsan but ultimately decided to back eternal fire as i believe they will go further in the tournament
nice team, syrson and woxic definitely good value for money, and syrson isn't an over-investment even if big bomb out. jdc would probs be a bit risky, but i guess it depends what your goal is!
next event will be blast finals, where i don't think there will be much room to take risks. i might need to workshop option b to make it safer. or just go A, it's solid haha
Do you think it's a bad idea to go 2-1-1-1 instead of 2-2? I'm really set on Mongolz, Astralis and Heroic clashing for the title and then I picked chelo cause he is cheap and I believe Furia might suprise us a little considering we have such low standards of them atm
