Hello. I have been studying the sangai since February of 2014-they are a profound passion of mine, and among my desires is to get to see them in person one day. I own the only book written about them (to my knowledge) by L.M. Khaute, and I rewatch your beautiful documentary at least once every year. I wanted to personally thank you for creating this. Being so far away from them, this is an incredible insight into their natural habitat and lives that I otherwise could not have had, and I want you to know how much I love Manipur's dancing deer and am so thankful and grateful to you for documenting them. Much love to you. Thank you.
@@Moundain I am from the state of Oregon in the United States! I have been studying Cervidae as a whole since October 2009, and stumbled upon sangai in my research. I've spent the last decade doing the best I can to preserve data, videos, photos, etc of brow-antlered deer with an emphasis on the sangai; they are my greatest passion. I am merely an amateur doing this as a hobby, but without a doubt highly dedicated to it. I have endless fascination, admiration, and affection for the sangai. Thank you again for your beautiful documentary, it is an inspiration to me.
Well done to the government of Manipur and hats off to all the people that are a part of this project and saving a rare animal from getting extinct from our planet Earth. I hope the youth take full responsibility for conserving the national parks with all the flora and fauna.
KLNP and Loktak are on my list to visit and I have heard so much from my own line of work and also because a dear friend works there. This is an absolute masterpiece of a documentary. I will share with my circle. Thank you so much for the beautiful trip!! Cheers
