What makes these games so good is that you're not outplaying the killers, they are not stupid, they just follow rules for presumably their show Adam has and force you to take part.

EXACTLY how I found him too haha WTTG2 was my favorite for a while and I really enjoyed learning every single mechanic with insym even though I don't think I would have the guts to play it myself

I like watching Insym play this game, but personally, this is Welcome to the Game - pg13 version. Don't get me wrong, is not a bad game at all, it is a solid game with good mechanics and story and ambiance. But it feels like a fanmade game of WttG + OD. Not meaning fanmade games are bad, just that this doesn't feel like part of the WttG universe let's say. Yes, the cameras everywhere and having someone abusing them to steal and do bad things, sure, awful. But not close to the Dollmaker for example. This felt like a game to make people who would never give the other WttG's games, give them a chance and maybe they'll like it, even being so much hardcore (theme, mechanics, terror wise). I respect the business decision, but it is the most basic of the bunch by a football field. I'm hoping this was just a business plan so the next one can be as nightmare fuel as possible! So I don't particular enjoy this game, but it's fun to watch Insym play it, and, if this was a business decision, I respect it. If not, I have no clue how they went from WttG2 to this o_O but ok.
I've only watched this video of the game so far, but first impressions... The game def has the tension build with having to watch for Noir and Lucas, but for me that is more of a stress on the player than on the viewer, since they are tasked with actually avoiding the danger. What I'm missing so far is the creep factor that WTTG 1 & 2 had. What got me most in those games wasn't the people coming after you, but the disturbing content you were forced to read through on the websites. Maybe this comes into play in later modes, but I was hoping we'd get that creepiness again. Knowing what was in the suspicious packages we were delivering, cause if they're purchases off the deep web, then it's prob some messed up stuff. Maybe seeing whoever is being signaled with the reports you're filing to come and take advantage of them, as in, reporting a peep opportunity and suddenly seeing a person with a voyeur kink at the person's window spying on them. So far for me, it's feeling a lot more like a strategy game than anything scary, which can be a bit redundant. I'll check out the rest of Insym's playthroughs. That murder room has to have something.
Insym and his chat don't seem to understand what kind of work the MC is doing. Open doors, visible keys. 2.) Defense - Some kind of weapon or deterrent against a burglar. 3.) Hack - A piece of technology available to be hacked 4.) Sus - Another criminal performing an unknown/suspicious activity. Unaffiliated with the underground organization. 5.) Peep - Someone to Peep on. As in a peeping tom. As in, spying on someone naked or doing their daily business for sexual gratification. (This one irked me the most as they just didn't seem to understand.) 6.) High Value - Something worth stealing.
It got me good too and I had the longest scream, I can’t stop laughing because I’m the only one watching and my scream caused a chain reaction😂 it was so quiet.. now I can’t stop laughing at how wonderfully peace was disturbed unintentionally 😂

You mustn’t watch insym much because that’s just a running joke between chat and him. The amount of times he plays other games and people go “I smell dots” just to bait him is all the time. He doesn’t mean it, if that bothers you it might be time to get off the internet lol. He’s one of the sweetest streamers so don’t take it that personally. It’s humor.
I can see what you mean, I don’t think he meant it seriously though. This is the first video I’ve ever watched of his and it definitely seems like his humor/dialect is a little crude. If he was seriously upset at a chatter I don’t think he’d be so quick to be cheery again afterwards… just my take on it though.

As someone whos used 2FA keyfobs they are so awesome for security. Also the monthly password changing is hands down the most annoying and worst part for security because after the first month of employment password strength drops massively so much so IT and I guessed peoples passwords on the regular

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little disappointed. I loved welcome to the game 1 and 2, i haven't seen observation duty and if this is the gameplay loop then it's not for me. looking through cameras for random items the whole game isn't what i expected when i heard "welcome to the game 3" you do a lot of tedious things in wttg but it's all on the dark web with fucked up shit being the backdrop but this is random places around your apartment building. the game looks amazing but it's just not for me.

I counted from 50:24 til 50:35 in the video I don't know what to tell you the video timer doesn't lie. It's just that you need to start counting from the moment she finishes talking

You're right, it's just about timing it from when she stops talking, but I think you may have been looking at the OBS timer when it was already counting, meaning you lost about half a second somewhere. So I concede that you're right that counting the stream timer is a good idea, but I will say, it seems like it may have been slightly misaligned (not that it mattered here, since it should've started when she stopped talking, not when you turned around.) I will say though, that last bonus second wasn't a full second

I love that he's taken the observation duty format and elevated it into a more complete game. I know lots of people have problems with Adam, but he's shown great skill over the years of taking his own games (and others) and building the existing systems into more fleshed out and unique experiences.

like entrepreneur that The Shade is, he knows he can make you work two dangerous jobs with strict quotas at once because he knows better than every business ever: losing all your employees on day 1 isn't an issue! They'll respawn or something, probably. though the way I'm looking at it, maybe the player character has been at it a while and he's expanding the workload because it was too easy. The fact it's a drone drop-off that just needs the last stretch of the delivery done helps it make sense.

You mustn’t watch insym much because that’s just a running joke between chat and him. The amount of times he plays other games and people go “I smell dots” just to bait him is all the time. He doesn’t mean it, if that bothers you it might be time to get off the internet lol. He’s one of the sweetest streamers so don’t take it that personally. It’s humor.
I can see what you mean, I don’t think he meant it seriously though. This is the first video I’ve ever watched of his and it definitely seems like his humor/dialect is a little crude. If he was seriously upset at a chatter I don’t think he’d be so quick to be cheery again afterwards… just my take on it though.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little disappointed. I loved welcome to the game 1 and 2, i haven't seen observation duty and if this is the gameplay loop then it's not for me. looking through cameras for random items the whole game isn't what i expected when i heard "welcome to the game 3" you do a lot of tedious things in wttg but it's all on the dark web with fucked up shit being the backdrop but this is random places around your apartment building. the game looks amazing but it's just not for me.
This game was never promoted as a welcome to the game 3. People just said that for clickbait.

@@psonehagrid I literally pulled my phone cronometer and he did 00:00:10:30 (with the "extra second") he was counting a second and half way too faster lol, im pretty sure he just said that in the heat of the moment but his count was off until the very end... and only made it to 10 seconds bc of the "extra second"
I counted from 50:24 til 50:35 in the video I don't know what to tell you the video timer doesn't lie. It's just that you need to start counting from the moment she finishes talking

@@Insym To be fair, you started counting at 50:24 but almost 50:25 - it was like .7 seconds into that timer, and you were done at 50:33, and then the extra second was like .5 seconds. You're right, it's just about timing it from when she stops talking, but I think you may have been looking at the OBS timer when it was already counting, meaning you lost about half a second somewhere. So I concede that you're right that counting the stream timer is a good idea, but I will say, it seems like it may have been slightly misaligned (not that it mattered here, since it should've started when she stopped talking, not when you turned around.) I will say though, that last bonus second wasn't a full second

I love that he's taken the observation duty format and elevated it into a more complete game. I know lots of people have problems with Adam, but he's shown great skill over the years of taking his own games (and others) and building the existing systems into more fleshed out and unique experiences.

though the way I'm looking at it, maybe the player character has been at it a while and he's expanding the workload because it was too easy. The fact it's a drone drop-off that just needs the last stretch of the delivery done helps it make sense.
