Now she draws and so resting on that part of the hand probably lead to it too but it could fade pretty fast. You are still young and your vocal skills could and will improve, but I think your strongest asset is that you can make people relate to you, all the while singing with this unique breathy/angelic voice. Your pureness in character and singing will draw an audience..and even if it is just a small crowd..your singing is worth sharing. So I hope that no matter what circumstances life throws at you, you continue. Your unique voice/character might score you a cover song on a tv-series or some original sibg for a movie where they need your voice, or you might perform just in some small places where you can enchant people, or a talent show, or something different. But it really doesn't matter, as long as you can express yourself through music. I would love to see some original work of you. There is a lot of sweetness, reservedness and even dorkiness in your humour (to some extent^^), but I really want to know what's behind all of that. What message/passion do you want to share with the world? You have the looks, you have the unique voice, the personality, you gathered a small audience, the next step is using your brain: how to make more people listen? ;) Good luck on this journey and keep smiling. Brittin, do you have perfect pitch, or did you learn ear training in school? I was a music major in college, and dictation and ear training was soooo hard.
MrSimpy10 I wouldn’t say I have perfect pitch, but it’s always been kind of a natural thing for me! I started sounding out songs on piano when I was 3 and just never stopped playing
I've read that about 50% of professional musicians cannot read sheet music. You're a musician with naturally gifted ears. Are there any jazz standards you'd like to cover? Or Rickie Lee Jones songs? Her Last Chance Texaco is lesser-known and vocally amazing. All your covers I've heard are great. Whether you play an improvised song or feel like singing someone else's song next week, I always look forward to hearing whatever you create. Can you ride horses now with your brain injury? Does that cause balance issues, et cetera? I like horses, but they scare the crap out of me when they gallop.
