I loved the original but I also enjoyed the remake, I think it was different enough that they can both exist and be good. The original had its issues too wordy of which was the many filler episodes they’d just put zero effort into using whatever sets were available on the lot of the time. I would like to see a remake that was more faithful to the original though.
as a BSG fan from the beginning thanks for tackling the religious themes. Its one of the things i loved about it, though 78 ABC would not let it get to theological heavy. It's also the main reason why I despise rdmmoore and his anti Christian version.
@@that-70s-nerd As far as I can tell, the remake was Patient Zero for all the race- and gender-swapped reboots made by people that hate the original thing they're rebooting that we see today.

The original is fantastic, didn't care for the remake at all.
