All time great… 1998-2004 was pretty much is with in and out spells with 2007 2012 2015. With a 22 season spell not that great when you compare him to actual greats like pep saf klopp tuchel conte mourinho not forgetting the might Sam Allardyce 🐐
I actually think Wenger would decline a role with the club. He’s an intelligent man and clearly understood that simply being at the club would be overbearing for any manager that follows him.
No matter how it all ending for him, I still love this man

Nice to see Arteta interacting with Wenger on the twisting field. Can see in his body language and how he was communicating, and how engaged he was, he already had the makings of a coach.
Whether we win the PL or not this season (which i don’t think we will) Arteta has proved he has what it takes to take Arsenal to the next level and be competitive again and rival fans and pundits should be taking Arsenal seriously again 💪💪💪💪

I'm a hardcore Arsenal fan. Been one for more than the past twenty odd years. During the Wenger glorious era and also through the tough period when it was extremely painful to be an Arsenal fan. Although I'm excited with the prospects of Arteta's new Arsenal doing great this season, but I don't like the hype that the media is providing to these baby steps towards our return to glory. Its a long project where consistency, mentality and hunger are going to be decisive for the eventual result. One game at a time, folks. Let's talk about the titles and trophies after we conquer the top 6 teams in the league, fair and square.
We owe this man too much! Easily over 90% of Arsenal's fans all over the world, me included, are part of this family because of him!

Wenger is a legend but I can't say I agree that we can win the league. But everyone doubted him when he said his Arsenal team could go an entire season unbeaten in the league
It depends if we stay healthy or not. The only team I fear as an arsenal player is man city. Every team 4 team is one player away disaster.

@@hegeliandianetik2009 with Thursday nights, lack of depth and injury prone players, title challenging is not realistic. Also Arteta is inexperienced. They couldn’t even beat United.

I genuinely agree. Although it’s still early, City are still only second after only playing teams who on average are in 15th position compared to Arsenal who are in first after playing teams averaging in 11th position. Also City have come close to not winning a few times. They play good football but I think Arsenal play more direct football and there’s a bit more hunger with the Arsenal players

@@om4482 I don't think parety is less of a player than rodri It's just that he can't stay fit long enough and the drop off between him and Lokonga or elneny is huge
I love how Wenger just stands aside and lets Arteta do his thing. I'm sure he's tempted.. very tempted.. to give Arteta tactical advice or on who to sign because Arsenal runs in this man's blood. But he realises it's not his time anymore.

Speculation vs reality, Southampton 'can' win the title if they get the most points, Manchester City 'can' get relegated if they get less than 40 points. The media trying to put pressure on Arsenal knowing very well Arsenal are not ready to contend for the title, so they berate the at the end of the season if they fail. Did the same thing last season after 3 games the narrative was Arsenal would do well not to get relegated and towards the end of the season they were berated for not finishing 4th, when clearly they weren't touted to finish 4th at the beginning of the season, which means Arsenal were punching above their weight. Same thing happening now. Arsenal not ready yet to contend for the title but they want to sell the narrative that Arsenal are title contenders. Funny thing Arsenal fans (most of them) are the ones being pragmatic and know realistically it is not possible for Arsenal to win or even contend for the title. Top 4 should be the aim.

Believing that they can really compete for the league title if they can keep their composure and not make mistakes in exciting important matches. But it isn't easy.

while im happy we’ve been in good form its really early in the season, while it would be incredible to win the title we have to first secure our position in top four and prove ourselves against the top 6 clubs, if we can keep this form and (somehow) keep 1st for half of this season maybe ill start considering the possibility of us winning the title 😂

Miss this guy. Some sort of advisory role being around the club he loves would surely suit him.
Until we sort out the problem of beating the other big teams on a regular basis we wont get there. Have to overcome that mental barrier. As in Wenger's time at the club we had a European mental barrier which he couldn't get over in his time. He bought some great times and moments, but underachieved in many seasons.

Since preseason after they whooped our ass ( us Chelsea) I knew they looked special and coordinated. Might need some depth but if they have no injuries then they can definitely win. The premier league isn’t always about winning vs top 4 but about winning every other match you can
