Can I ask, how did you transport your skates in to the UK? A friend of mine is coming from Spain and has been told, they are classed as weapons, so can't bring them on hand luggage
We have both transported ours in carry-on with no issues. 🤷🏼♀️ we haven’t had any checked luggage at all as a matter of fact. We have actually posted a special video on this very topic - check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/ndywLMHeEV8/v-deo.html We’ve done multiple flights in and out of England during this trip and had our skates in carry-on on all of them. One of the times they called a supervisor who touched the blades and determined they were not sharp enough to be a danger. 🤷🏼♀️
We don’t know how things are in Spain though. Personally, if it was me, I’d bring them in carry-on - worst case scenario they’ll ask to check in the bag. To me it’s a risk I’m willing to take over the risk of them loosing my skates in a checked bag. Especially with the current situation…
