It sounds like you were describing a budget R2R sound signature. Nice! It's about time these manufacturers start shifting from bright ultra detailed sound profiles to more musical and natural sounding components. Thanks for your review.
Hiya and thanks for the great work yet again 🙏👍 This was right up my street as I have a Hiby r6 iii music player so tried my btr7 with usb connection and into my home cinema set up, it sounded ok lol 😆 so enter a fiio Q15 dac. So glad I got it as was a very big improvement so much so I got a liner power supply to use with the fiio Q15 and again a jump in performance. So glad I'm not the only one trying this sort of thing out lol. P's before I was using an NVIDIA shield tv pro with Tidal and the hiby r6 iii with the fiio Q15 dac is soooo much better. Thanks for all the hard work you do .
Wonderful review always, could you elaborate a bit on comparing the XD05 pro, can the pro produce smooth and holographic soundstage too with certain modules?
You indicate that the single ended and balanced analog output on the back are fixed. Bummer. So no adjustable volume on outputs except for headphone outs? xDuoo is not clear about this in their literature. But they do state that to enhance or maximize desktop/pre mode you should connect to external power supply. Are you sure that with external supply switch chosen that the outputs do not become variable?
Bra, this things are for headphones or audiophiles iem not 2ch speakers bra..its 6N16B triode soviet 1960s thermionic valves, 2 of em..welcome noobs..Peace!
Really great stuff. Keep on with the sound samples. You will do well with your channel

Yes, I think it's a great option for those looking for a more natural sound.
Thank you very much for a comprehensive review of this portable device, which you nicely show has more applications than just “ en route “

Sorry lol 😆 it would be good if some how you could get hold of a fiio Q15 headphone amp and dac and compare the two.
Thanks for sharing 😁
Looks like this product has been receiving many good ratings.
Cool!
You said that the XD05t is too smooth, is there any other similar dac amp at this price point that does not come too smooth like this?
I owned one and it wasn't smooth at all, I returned it because of the overly airy-detailed sound.
@@NelsonMichael Hi what I said was a little too smooth paring with X9 300B tube amp.
@@ResilientME if you include paring components would be very helpful, thanks
@@Tharbamar headphones (Sennheiser HD650) and in-ear monitors
@ Yep Sennheiser HD650 will do that, it’s synergy issue.
Is the tube user replaceable or is it soldered in?
it's soldered.

Have you tested this with IEMs? If so, was there any hiss or noise due to sensitivity issues?
Thank you sir! are the cable and connector you did on your own...
Hi which cable?
@@Tharbamar cable from DAC to your system...
@ it’s in the description. Thanks
This has Bluetooth correct? How do you control it, there's no buttons on it
Select Bluetooth with input button and rest is on your pairing device.
Oh thank you, I'm a dummy I didn't notice the three buttons on the side @@Tharbamar
