There is nothing more fun in this game than being able to move about in my Spider-Verse outfit, low frame rate movement included.

As a NYC resident, being able to move about Manhattan freely in a mask during the coronavirus feels quite cathartic. The electric powers and invisibility are an added bonus.

I also like how they implemented the relationship between Miles and Peter.
Peter is more like a cool big brother rather than a pestering father figure.
If you see other mentor characters, the mentor is usually overly bearing and harsh when the mentee makes a mistake.
Peter never yells at Miles or feel like he has to harshly correct him. For example when he accidentally let's Rhino out of the helicopter cage, instead of yelling at Miles...he eats pizza and asks Miles to promise to be good, then goes on vacation and leave the city to Miles LMAO!
Remember when Miles Morales was hated on in his first appearance?? I'm so happy to see how far Miles has come.

Nah man, im a huge flash and green lantern fan and I love all the diferrent characters, it offer representation for the same concept of a hero for more people. I think green lantern does it best but I really love all the diferrent spidermen, miguel ohara is probably my favorite though

You’re missing a lot of the important details. Fans were originally pissed off because they permanently killed a very well-developed version of Peter Parker in the _Ultimate Spider-Man_ comics in order to introduce Miles Morales as their new protagonist halfway through the series. It was a very abrupt transition for fans and a mostly unpopular decision that heavily damaged the sales of the _Ultimate_ universe for Marvel Comics. In subsequent versions of Miles Morales, however, Marvel has learned that they don’t necessarily need to ruin great characters of the past just to make the new characters good as well. So now they tend to keep Peter Parker around in some form to actually help mentor Miles Morales and work alongside him.

that spiderverse outfit and the way it moves MIGHT be one of the dopest things ive ever seen. too sweet.
I honestly never used the fast travel once in vanilla Spiderman, I totally forgot about it. Im happy it's there, but swinging around is much more fun.
I'm just glad Miles is getting more recognization as being his own character in the last 3 years

Why should they have different names, and by the end of the game the people of harlem don't call him the other spiderman, they only did that because they were fond of the peter Parker spiderman and didn't believe in miles as much, the game literally focuses on miles giving himself an identity for the people to see.

There can be spidermen, and obviously other characters before miles have had those powers doesnt make it a bad thing. Theres been other ironmen, other hulks, other captain americas, acesetera. They don't refer to him as Other spiderman at the end of the game, it was his growth as a character and hero that changed that. Fuck, you can type can't you.

Was watching clips of Into the Spiderverse when I saw this notif pop up. They really did justice with Miles with both that movie and this game and I actually prefer these versions than the comics version of Miles.
I love this miles morales Spider-Man game it gave me everything I ever wanted and I love it.

So crazy to think he was only introduced 10 years ago. Just finished the game recently and hoping to platinum it after I’m done with Ghost of Tsushima. Love this game, into the spider-verse, and the comics so much. Very happy that he’s more well known now.

Yeah I played the game on PS4 and got subway scenes. When Jeremy said he didn't kinda gave me mixed opinions on PS5.

What a game. The emotional weight wasn't as great as the first game, but it was overall still enjoyable and worthy of purchase. A fantastic filler until the next full game! And that soundtrack was 🔥.

The Spider-Verse suit and related effects are amazing!
While I overall like the game, I just can't forgive how insultingly short the campaign is. Not only short, but a bit more cliche than i was expecting. It definitely has some good, even great, moments. But I would not recommend anyone pay $50 for something that is over in roughly 5 hrs. I don't like being kingdom hearted. If you aren't ready to give me the next actual game in the story, then don't offer me some spinoff game. Especially if the spinoff can't even be bothered to continue the narrative that you started. Because now this game is a waste of time. And I hate saying that. Miles deserves a real full length game. And if you're gonna make him a part of this universe and story, then make it matter. Overall, a 7/10
Totally agree, Miles could have easily benefited from having a longer story, especially since he's been around for like, 8 or 9 years in the comics. The whole Roxxon and Underground power struggle was super cliche and Simon Krieger? the most by the books evil business man and I hated that. If the game had been longer, it would have benefited from having a better story. But because this is a spinoff, they have to make it smaller and compact because Miles is still new at being Spider-Man. I'm sure after Marvel's Spider-Man 2, we'll see how Miles has progressed as a character.

@Darth Destroyah then why not call this another DLC pack and cut the price in half? Or at least down to $40? $50 for something you can beat in 5 hrs?! Even call of duty is mocking this game's length. And that's a game that NO ONE buys for the campaign to begin with. If miles gets a 2nd game, I refuse to even consider buying it unless it's at least twice this long

The game was literally like a movie it played like a movie to the storytelling, to The swinging every time you swing the a score would play that was dope, made you feel like you in a movie a Spider-Man movie
