- It's been around a year since i made my original ToyBiz Spider-Man Collection video and it has been something i've wanted to revisit for some time as i have picked up more figures and really just wanted to improve on the original video...

It’s a bit hard for me to rank these figures. All I know is that the Magnetic is my personal favorite. Great video !

i really like the look of the super poseable spiderman 1
The thing about doc arms you can dremel the hard plastic ones add wiring all way through then super glue sections you cut , has Spider-Man comes with statue doc , it’s possible to mod him to be posable
To me , Web Trap Spider-Man beats the Super Poseable Spidey easily. Reason: It is both aesthetically pleasing and has tons of articulation.
1)The large butterfly joints on the super poseable make the arms of the Spidey logo on his back really compressed and ugly, Web Trap has perfectly shaped butterfly cuts that allow the legs to be longer and spread out more.
2)The Diaphragm joint on Super Poseable is nothing but an extra swivel, which not only looks bulbous but also ruins the sculpt on the Spidey logo on his back. Web trap has one swivel at the waits which will do the job. Overall the Spidey logo on the back of the figure looks great and is not compromised by any on the articulation like the super poseable one.
3) Hands- The individually articulated fingers on the super poseable Spidey makes his hands look very ugly, their funtion would make sense if he could actually make fists, instead, he can do a thumbs up pose, gripping pose and thwip pose. With the Web Trap Spidey, having only the necessary articulation makes his hands look much cleaner, and he can do thwip and relaxed hand poses(which are sufficient)
4)The Ball joints on his legs-Super poseable's leg joints looks really round, whereas the ball is more hidden and relatively cleaner looking on Web Trap.
5)Most Important of all- Ankle Pivot: The lack of ankle pivot on the super poseable version is quite shocking, it's essential if you want to do dynamic poses, specially for a character like Spidey. Luckily, Web Trap has two beautiful ankle pivots that work like magic(they are a different kind of ankle pivots than you see on modern day Marvel Legends-which work based on the position of the foot's peg. Web Trap's ankle pivots are separate hinges).
I know the Super Poseable is unique because of it's articulation, but the reasons I stated above are why I would choose Web Trap over Super Poseable Spidey any day.
I have had most of these while collecting and I do think the battle attack one is my favourite due to the perfect paint and no ugly joints in the legs and the back

Spider-Man figure at 10:47 is actually the Web Cycle figure since that figure in the Spider-Man 2 wave that didn't have an ab crunch joints... most advertise on line as super poseable but those figures had butterfly joints and ab crunch
Also the neck was longer due to what they designed the figure for which was meant to look hunched over on his bike so you wouldn't notice how long his neck was in that angle...
Man This Just makes me want one but I always forget they are expensive now 😭

My personal favorite is the spin and kick Spider-Man, the leg does suck but the articulation is pretty good and the neck joint is great
Yea it looks great until you see the big peg sticking out the back haha, might pick one up if it was cheap but I'd probably try remove the peg :)
@@PlasticGuy i saw a tutorial on how to remove it and it works great. Then swapped the hands for the ones off the super poseable figure

Not sure If you know but apparently there is also a version where it uses the same mold as the Super poseable Spider-man 1 figure but with the new logo and color
Its the hasbro ver uperantly its a leftover sculpt of toy biz and they bought the left over sculpts and repaints

I can't speak on your specific figure but in general when figures suffer from tight joints either a hair dryer or some hot water will help loosen them. This might help and could be worth a try but I can't say for certain...

I wish i got the pizza spidey figure i had a chance to get it but it was 6 years ago but i bought something else which i forgot but even if i got the pizza spidey id probably lose it
i have the magnet feet one and the pizza one but just with the peter parker head, how much are they actually worth? i bought them both for about £10 about 5 years back
Now it's kinda hard to say with all the new Tobey releases but £10 each is still a great deal 👍
Hi Plastic Guy! So recently I found a NIB Super Poseable Spider-Man 1 figure and I think I might pick it up as it is for a fair price and also because a hinge on my Aerial flipping Spider-Man is broken :(.
Nice! Both those figures are great :) hopefully you can fix the hinge, even if it's just a super glue job

i think that's called the "web swinging Spider-Man" and i believe they also used the same mold for the "power punch" spider-man :)

I was just wondering because I bought 3 Tobey spiderman 2 figures off of someone on mercari and I realized one of the 3 was painted up to look new (i was tricked) and I then noticed that the web trap spidey he sent me had very faint glossy pearly white eyes so I was wondering if he painted up the eyes too...
Do any of them have a slight pearly white for eyes? Since you have so many different variants haha
@@angelrangel8173 hmmm... I don't think there are any web trap variants with pearly white eyes but Hasbro did re release a load of toybiz sculpts with slight different paint jobs etc so that's a possibility but it is likely the person maybe painted it themself
