I remember having quite a few of them growing up as a kid. Definitely need to raid my parents attic soon lol. Also glad you brought up the about Kraven the Hunter and Black Cat. Those toys were made because Raimi planned on making six Spider-Man films but was sadly cancelled. Those movie were to feature characters like Kraven, Black Cat and Mysterio. I’m assuming those toys were made to prepare for those films and also build some hype amongst fans! Btw, great collection! Also for toys I collected growing up, I collected tons of Marvel and DC toys in general. My favorite in your collection would have to be the Peter Parker with the water shooter wrist. I really like how unique it is compared to Marvel toys today. Also the Jameson one is awesome.
You know I’m something of a Spider-Man fan myself. I too was born in 95. I remember getting Spider-Man on VHS for my 7th birthday. I wish I got the chance to watch it at the cinema. I have seen every Spiderman film at the cinema except the first Raimi film. Also I still have the Spider-Man battle damaged figure from the first film and I remember getting the Spider-Man web shooter that shot out crazy string as a kid.
As a kid in 2012, I collected most Amazing Spider-Man merch like a few action figures, web or water shooter and the glove that made noise when moving your hand. What a fun time that was.
Amazing video and collection Johnathan, other than LEGO I also have lots of Funko’s and when I was younger I was obsessed with collecting soft toys and still have lots of them! My favourite toys of your collection is the Green Goblin, J Jonah Jameson and Spider-Man 2 version of Spider-Man!!!😃👍☮️❤️
Magnetic spiderman and the web trap spiderman is a must buy. The proportion look better compared to the super poseable spiderman. Tbh the abdominal section makes the figure even better. Not gonna lie.
This stuff looks just like my stuff growing up I’m just glad that my Norman wasn’t the only one that had the hand broken off must of been a weak spot lol
I bought several of these when they came out: the green goblin with the removable helmet, spiderman with the changeable wrestling outfit, Mary Jane and two of the other spiderman figures. Man, that MJ figure was fragile as hell specially considering you’re supposed to let her fall, I broke her arms in both joints and one leg lmao.
Wow!!! Those are all amazing! I never had any but I do remember a friend of mine having the super posable Spider-man figures and how much fun they were! The detail and articulation was amazing. Thank you for this video!
I remember in 2005 when I read online that Spiderman 3 was in development I got so excited about the symbiote suit that I paint my original 2002 figure black lol Might not be worth $100 now but preserving the memory of my excitement for the rami trilogy is priceless!
I collected wrestling toys, cars, and superhero's. They where pretty bad toys but I had the most fun I could with them. My imagination was off the roof with this toys and I had a blast playing with them.
I want to get my hands on these figures. I had them as a kid as well but unfortunately don't have any of them anymore. Want to try doing stop motion films lol.
The Peter Parker was my pick from the line, I had many adventures with him, unfortunately he was lost to time and endless moves. Memories. I also had a huge goblin that was mounted to a glider that spun around
Mine right now is the battle damaged Tobey sand doc ock my first Spider-Man 2 action figure big Tobey lizard from the amazing Spider-Man and the rest just Spider-Man
back in August 2002 on my birthday, 3 months after the movie had just dropped i remember my mom took me me to K-Mart to pick out my birthday gift. i ended up getting 2 canisters of web fluid, one 12 inch Spider-Man and 12 inch Green Goblin. and my aunt came over and gifted me the walkie-talkies of Spider-Man and Green Goblin. i was so happy. but i really wanted the action figures of Goblin & Spidey. my sisters friend at the time in elementary ended up giving her a battle ravaged Spider-Man that she ended up giving to me and that made me happy but i still wanted the non damaged Spider-Man. and then we went to K-Mart one last time and my mom said i could get 2 more figures so i tried to find them and found Goblin without his mask and glider but couldn’t find the super poseable Spider-Man. so i didn’t end up getting anything and that was the last time i ever went toy hunting for those figures and was disappointed. i felt robbed that i didn’t get to experience ever owning that Spider-Man. and i don’t want to pay $200+ on Ebay for one. so now i’m just looking forward to getting a new Maguire figure from NWH if they ever release one.
People who had these growing up must have held onto them, because I never see them in thrift stores and flea markets and only very rarely see them in random Ebay assortments.
I wish that were true for me! No idea where mine went. I remember a Spider-Man 3 figure which had a suit you could snap on to Spider-Man so he looked like Tobey Maguire.
You know, it's something I never would have expected for a movie tie-in line since growing up in the 90's, I was more or less conditioned to seeing movie-based toylines (except for Star Wars) go straight into the bargain bin after the films left theaters and never holding any real value years later. That really started to change in the early 2000's with the ToyBiz Lord of the Rings line.
2:34 marvel legends started in 2002, and spidey classics (the line before marvel legends and inspired the spider-man 1 line) was in 2001, and the movie figures also came in 2002.
You didn't show it but my favorite toys from any of the lines were the Wrestler Spider-Man and I remember when my dad bought it for me, second is the Super Poseable Doc Ock with the bendable tenticals
With the Norman OSborn figure and Bruce Wayne figure from Batman Begins, you could recreate your favorite scenes from American Psycho. Y'know, for the kids.
Idk if you remember but the first spider man movie collection also had a spider man that had a removable rubber mask ! I remember the mask being almost super fragile, I haven’t seen that spider man figure anywhere ! The figure also came with his interchangeable costume that he wore when we fought bone saw in the cage.
Theres one spider man 1 figure i was hoping you'd own so i can see it again. It was the one where spider man had really good POA (Points Of Articulation) as well as a soft elastic like spider man mask you can put on and off peter. I wanna say there was a Human Spider variant too but 17 years ago is quite some time to remember lol
I had the Norman Osborn with the chair. I also had the Spiderman with the removable mask. I also remember there was a Green Goblin on a glider that spun around when you pulled on a trigger.
Damn!! I remember i had the green goblin, the mary jane red dress, osborn and his chair, and then the spiderman normal and one with the ripped apart suit. This unlocked some memories for me
Honestly green goblin is my favorite but my older brother owns a 2007 goblin and a broken black suit Spider-Man, I found the the middle piece of the goblins glider and the wings are missing,I still have the middle part. And recently found a 2006 hasbro Spider-Man 3 “Spider-Man versus venom symbiote goo” figure at an antique store, so lucky to, your right about them being over 200 dollars but my Spider-Man figure was only 18
I got all those Spider-Man figures already I been having them since I was 13 years old to 15 and to 18 years old and I still have all of them I am a Collector of marvel and dc and Star Wars and G.I. Joe and toy story and spawn and all that other cool stuff.
I grew up with the doc OC, sandman, and Spidey figures in the front there. Those were some good days, of course I lost the sandman figure, and the doc kept losing the fingers on his robotic arms but I still have Spidey. I also still have the Glove to the shooter somewhere and I Loved wearing that thing
Other than LEGO, what other toys do you collect?
Pop funkos and neca action figures
Funko POP and Transformers
I usually play some toys that are in the market places as a kid and happy meal toys idk it's a 50 50 👍👍

I was also born in 1995.
Great vid, and collection.
Glad I still have my green gobiln, doc ock and damaged tobey maguire figure
I remember having quite a few of them growing up as a kid. Definitely need to raid my parents attic soon lol. Also glad you brought up the about Kraven the Hunter and Black Cat. I was the same, but ten years earlier xD
@@Alienkiwi730 In 2002?
Man I wish I was into collecting toys during that time. I really love that first amazing Spider-Man costume but all the figures are super pricey
I love the spider-man and sandman
Amazing video and collection Johnathan, other than LEGO I also have lots of Funko’s and when I was younger I was obsessed with collecting soft toys and still have lots of them! My favourite toys of your collection is the Green Goblin, J Jonah Jameson and Spider-Man 2 version of Spider-Man!!!😃👍☮️❤️
Very nice collection. Congratulations!!
Thanks kindly!
I can’t get over “doll action”
I still have my 2002 super posable Spiderman. Never would've thought it would become a rarity.
Magnetic spiderman and the web trap spiderman is a must buy. The proportion look better compared to the super poseable spiderman. Tbh the abdominal section makes the figure even better. Not gonna lie.
These brought back so many memories !! had most of these as a kid
Mary jane face sculpt was very on point at that time. I remembered storm and susun storm headsculpts looked really ugly back then.
This stuff looks just like my stuff growing up I’m just glad that my Norman wasn’t the only one that had the hand broken off must of been a weak spot lol
Glad you made this video dude, great to see a collection of this stuff!
I missed out on most of these since I was in college when they came out. I got a few of them from my nephews.
That plushie is soooo Good! it's rare i think
Love this kind of video! I love it when you switch things up
That’s amazing
I still have most of these. Especially from Spiderman 3
Wow I had that sandman with the extendable hammer and I just remembered
I bought several of these when they came out: the green goblin with the removable helmet, spiderman with the changeable wrestling outfit, Mary Jane and two of the other spiderman figures. Man, that MJ figure was fragile as hell specially considering you’re supposed to let her fall, I broke her arms in both joints and one leg lmao.
I'm spidey fan and my favorite actor of spider-man is tobey maguire and hi i'm from puerto rico and the 3 movies of tobey maguire 🤘🏻😁🇵🇷
Ayy Puerto Rico’s awesome!
@@safewayman thanks and if you want we can be fiiends 😁
Wow, that’s one really awesome collection!
I just sold a Spider Man 2 Lego Spider-Man and Doc Ock that I bought at Goodwill for 3.00 for 150.00. I couldn't believe how sought-after they were.
I think the coolest figure here is the unmasking green goblin.
Happy 20th Anniversary to Spider-Man Trilogy!
A VERY impressive collection! The trilogy are my favorite films and I have quite a collection too. Not as great as yours, but it's growing.
Wow!!! Those are all amazing! I never had any but I do remember a friend of mine having the super posable Spider-man figures and how much fun they were! The detail and articulation was amazing. Thank you for this video!
“This feels good”
13:46 the doc ock arms contain bendy wire, meaning that the arms do move and are very posable
When it showed the close up on battle damaged Spider-Man his eye brow gone boy
I remember in 2005 when I read online that Spiderman 3 was in development I got so excited about the symbiote suit that I paint my original 2002 figure black lol Might not be worth $100 now but preserving the memory of my excitement for the rami trilogy is priceless!
I did the exact same thing after I saw the third movie as a kid. I painted the super poseable one from the second movie with a sharpie marker lol
You put some paint in their eye
Well done my friend
Thanks!
I remember when Spider-Man 2 came out, I had 2 Barbie like bills of Spider-Man and Mary Jane and 2 wallow talkies shaped like Spider-Man and Doc Ock
Man, I still have all of my Tobey collection as well haha, awesome review 🔥🔥
I used to own the black symbiote peter parker action figure from the Spider-man 3 movie. I threw it away but I wish I had kept it
I collected wrestling toys, cars, and superhero's. They where pretty bad toys but I had the most fun I could with them. My imagination was off the roof with this toys and I had a blast playing with them.
I want to get my hands on these figures. I had them as a kid as well but unfortunately don't have any of them anymore. Want to try doing stop motion films lol.
11:26 yes we do, they’re called butterfly joints and they’re standardized, particularly on higher end figures
The Peter Parker was my pick from the line, I had many adventures with him, unfortunately he was lost to time and endless moves. Memories. I also had a huge goblin that was mounted to a glider that spun around
Literally got all the toys from the spiderman movie 2002 for my bday and never open them till I found out my dad sold them all on the low 💔💔💔
Epic! I grew up with the Raimi films and I have a lot of the Spiderman 3 figures
I still have my Spider-Man and green goblin walk-in talkies & Spider-Man 2/ doc ock action figures
YES YES YES
6:23 your Norman Osbourne is now a Dr. Curt Connors figure
Mine right now is the battle damaged Tobey sand doc ock my first Spider-Man 2 action figure big Tobey lizard from the amazing Spider-Man and the rest just Spider-Man

I remember wanting spiderman toys and my grandpa got me venom possible spidey and doc ock and several years later i sold em for like 10

THATS NORMAN?!!? my cousins have him and I had no idea it was him as a kid I thought it was just some random guy XD
I wish I had all those figures I used to have em as a child but lost em

Damn, I sold the Super Poseable Spider-Man I had for like 5 bucks about 8 years ago!
I really hope we get tobey and andrew figures and also the sinister six from no way home for the toyline of the movie.
2:34 marvel legends started in 2002, and spidey classics (the line before marvel legends and inspired the spider-man 1 line) was in 2001, and the movie figures also came in 2002.

this was awsome, got my green goblin with glider for $20 and aside from that I collect motorized zoids from chaotic century.

I loved the dual action web glove growing up! And the big figures of Spider-Man was cool even though it couldn't pose much!

I had green goblin when I was 3
I had the one of Norman Osborn with his chair and the helmet
I asked for a green goblin and I got Norman lol!!
Wow, you still have these figures.. 👍 BTW how tall are the super Posable spiderman from spiderman 1 and 2?
