There is alot more of us train hoppers than people realize. It always seemed like kind of a big underground culture to where me it weirds me out when nobody knows where out there lol but I guess if you don't live in certain towns you might not notice and even some places with decent size yards that I go do it seems I'm the first person anyone seeing that does that so I don't know... depends where you live with your train stopped there frequently I'm sure you can meet someone like this

Here in England, chasing the dragon is exactly what Death described it as, chasing that blob of melted heroin down the foil. We also call it booting, having a boot. 24 years an addict, been stone-cold sober since 31.12.2020 and ain't *NEVER* going back! Love and freedom are far better buzzes than any drug could bring!
Enjoyed this one, like I always do, but it was just a little different than the usual.

One of the coolest fucking story's thus far. 👌 Refreshing to see some younger chill Hippie types not talking bout all that jail drama. 10 Stars and a bag of shrooms Gentleman 👍
It was actually hilarious watching their interaction..."This isn't special education anymore, my guy; Stop interupring class, and stay on task...", and "Why in the hell did they put me in jail with them??? "Why the US empire has failed"...
That guy had no reason whatsoever for being in prison; Much less taking a liberal arts major...
I don’t always watch the interviews but this one was very entertaining!
I’m also from Massaschusetts! Southcoast but I went to college in Amherst so I’ve been to Worcester a couple times!
I think he’s right about people from Mass thinking they knows what’s best for everyone. But each state knows what’s best for their own state. I agree. I’ve lived east and west coast, I’ve been to Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington. Drove across the country. I’ve never been to the south but my dream is to get a van and just travel.
I can tell you have to be a certain kind of person to hop trains, free spirit.
This was a great interview, from getting arrested in Canada for illegal entry to the Country, then getting arrested in North Dakota for a hitchhiking law from 1938 😂 Ben you seem like a cool dude & as always keep up the good work Death; love the videos!

Josh is right about "chasing the dragon". It's usually smoking a pill on foil but they chase the smoke around with the straw as it rolls down the foil. People smoke all types of shit like that
first time I ever heard the term, we were smoking meth off of foil lol

- Ben
I loved this show! I haven’t seen anyone with a story like this on Death’s channel before. Super cool! I like your view on how each state knows what’s best for them, except it sucks when you live in a state that just isn’t you. I live in Provo, UT literally the most conservative city in the country. I just don’t feel like I fit in here. I also love your ideals about not judging anyone, cuz the main reason why I don’t like it here is cuz if you’re not Mormon you’re judged by a lot of people, not everyone of course. It’s just that the Mormon church is in trenched into the culture. I would love to live a lot of places in the country, but gotta work on getting my mental health in order so I can move out of my parents house. But I loved your story bro and you seem like a really chill, down to earth person! I hope you are happy and healthy and your back heals!
@@Lindsey0007 hey i also struggle with mental health, I want you to find the inner strength to make all the moves, in your own time, that make YOU feel whole. I believe in you.
Every day I have to make choices that ensure I am happy and healthy. Some days are really hard and some days are really easy. I never forget that each day is a new one, and I dont have to carry all the things that make me sad or afraid (from my past or whatever) with me every day. Yes there are days where it sticks to me, but mostly I choose to leave it behind while I go about my day. Its important to self-care and learn to either let go of or distract yourself from obsessing over past traumas. BUT always leave a space for processing your feelings and emotions. Dont bottle shit up. Its confusing I know. Good luck!
@@boss-anova thanks so much for your kind words! That really does mean a lot to me. It makes me happy to hear that other people who have mental health challenges are working through it first and foremost because I want everyone to be happy, but also it gives me hope I can succeed to. 🥰
I think it’s cool when you branch outside of the prison stories. I love some good old jail chat but I also like to hear the life stories from people who lives on the fringes of society
Haven't watch the channel in a bit. Watched this episode today and it's was great to see this different type of content. Keep it coming
Bro, this was a cool interview. Thanks for bringing us that great content.
My name is Montana so I love when people talk about the state because I feel included
I thought your name was lilflossin

One of your best guests, Death. He is chill for real. My kinda people, thanks
Dude we don't hate when. You interrupt! You're fckin hilarious with your odd ball comments and out of left field questions! It's what makes your channel unique and so good. Keep it up death, I'm a recovering drug addict so I have a couple run ins with the law, but I've beaten every charge, and have spent 5 days at most locked up, and that was due to me getting taken in before a holiday weekend. And I gotta say that was 5 days too many, I was dying! My second day in I'm dope sick as a mofo, the dudes had just finished cleaning the bathroom when I started having to crap Nd started puking while crapping. Thought they were gonna beat the crap outta me, but they actually grabbed me a garbage can and cleaned up MY mess! They brought me water and sht it blew my mind.

🔪 😱 😂
He was right lol
Not really. After herion is "smoked" on foil and run back and forth a few times the trail looks like a typical Chinese dragon! U could say as the pile is burnt and ran.... the running/burning pile is the dragon breathing out his smoke but the dragon is on the foil!!! Look up a pic of h/opium smoked on tin foil. It's like they was both half right, half wrong lol

haha regina is my hometown, that was funny seeing them goof about it lol. and the thing about native americans is true too, the hoods/ghettos in regina are alllll native americans, but we say first nations or natives here. this is the way it is for a huge portion of canada
I been watching fugget about it an it's based in Regina
My Uncle used to help set up and run Rainbow festivals, from 70's or 80's. He traveled with the Dead forever. He was a Roadie for them some of the years. He even named my cousin Rainbow. He had bright Red hair, I swear it glowed in the dark.
Damn what a lucky guy, I bet he had a lot of fun and met alot of cool people.
@@claytoncoker6489 Yes, He was a very cool guy. He had no problems getting women either. He came to a school trip to a skating ring. I was just starting to date this girl, before the bus left the school, he as and h er r Mom got off the bus.... She wouldn't talk to me anymore.
When we lived in Texas in the early 80's a big Huricane named Alicia came through directly at us. Right as the hurricane started hitting us, the came walking up like it was no big deal.
Later on in the mid 90's I went to a Dead concert at New York Giants stadium. (LMAO, they're talking about the giants football on TV, as I type this) I was hanging out with some people, and told them about my uncle. They told me they knew him, and showed me some pics to prove it.
The stories he told me are even crazier, I Really looked up to him. He is a Really good guy. He lives in Arizona now, I am sure he is still smoking, and getting the ladies....lol

GREAT GUESS!!! WOW huh? I loved hearing a free spirit talk about life, other people and taking to all of your listeners and taking us on a adventure around the US and in country. Hey Death I'm a retired female CO from California. I worked at deuel vocational institution AKA gladiator School during the 80's level four as well as San Quentin. I'm a big fan of your channel. You know correctional officers have a saying and it goes like this we're doing time on the installment plan we just get to go home at night sometimes if we're not being held over. I would never ever want to go back to ever being a gard but I guess after you have been in that environment you have to talk to other people who have done time in prison because we have a special language that we talk and like my neighbors wouldn't understand it and so because we did time on the installment plan, you need to relate and laugh about prison no matter how terrifying it was only to realize that was how YOU SURVIVED in side the wall's right. I'm a big fan of your channel. Sometimes you have people on who have been in side the same prison I use to work and it takes me back to the day. You know that you're never going to run out of content for your channel

Okay, I’m not sure if anyone else has already told you this, but YOU were absolutely right about CHASING THE DRAGON. It’s sucking the smoke off of foil while you’re lighting heroin. I’m a recovering heroin addict, and I tried that once, and it just burned up. I was mad as hell. They actually had Luke Perry doing that on 90210 believe it or not. Dude is so chill bartender is a great job for him
He's partly correct about "Chasing the Dragon" being a reference to chasing the same high that you experienced the first time ever using heroin. But it's specifically a reference to smoking Heroin off foil bc you have to "Chase" the glob of Heroin as it melts and slides down the foil with a straw so u can inhale the smoke that comes off of it as you heat it up
That only works for tar heroin and pure oxycodone pills plus some tar opium. Powder heroin tends to just fry into stinky black ash. Meth melts and rolls too btw
@@robo3304 dont spread false info
. not true that it ONLY works on PURE OXYCODONE pills because ive seen 100% fake OXY 30s replaced with fentanyl instead of oxycodone and you can definitely smoke those as well... So dont say it has to be "PURE". mess around and get some kid killed homeboy
