Thanks Tony. The tent is really dark green. almost like those old army tarps that were really heavy. and yes the rainfly has sort of a blueish hue. It's almost a bit reflective.
You answered every question except "why?". I saw one of these over the last weekend and still cannot figure out why someone would want to go through the hassle of sleeping on top of there car. Unless you're in the Amazon or someplace where the ground is crawling with venomous creatures, and even then, that's what zippers are for. I can't imagine waking up out of a dead sleep, having to piss, and then realizing oh yeah, I'm on top of my damn car and I've gotta negotiate sharp metal steps half-asleep and not destroy my shins or break a toe in the process. Wait, you mean I could have just set up my tent on the ground? People do that? 😅
that's pretty funny! I just unzip it and piss right out of the tent lol. I have slept in a ground tent for decades. I finally got tired of packing up wet tents when it rains, having to put tarps down to keep from getting water in the tent, etc. just a change, unsure if I'll keep it and love it forever or ditch it for ground tents again. we shall see
