  • A stretch for a Birthday Note, a Series 1974 $20, and an American Banknote Company 10 Denomination Specimen Note.
My research points to it being made in the late 1980s, shares some details in common with monochrome notes, and Series 1954 Canada Currency.
I purchased it from a Stuplubak Currency BIN, and he has also featured it in a video.

That 2017 birthday note with 19571108 is actually the way they do it in Europe.
    Nice find with the $20.
    Interesting specimen note

True on that for Europe, that's why I found it interesting enough to show. Sadly, with the US note, the accepted way is year last. Although, I personally would keep a November 13, 1979 note in any date format.
That $20 was another case of the benefits of sharing the hobby with others. Someone spent that $20 in the other till, and the manager was like, someone spent this, wanna trade for it? So obviously, I did.

That is a birthday note 100% - "world style" but still a correctly formatted date. Great addition with the Specimen Note had no idea that they weren't made until the 1980s! Interesting to see the American Bank Note Company influence on the British American Bank Note Company design features for the 1954 Canadian $1 - which is a great series to collect. Thanks for sharing.

Pretty sure that those companies American BNC, Canadian BNC, and British American BNC, were all a collective similar to how Nintendo has Nintendo of Japan, America, Europe, and other countries. They all share stuff, but also keep some things region exclusive.

Hey brother. Another good and informative video. Nice notes. The Specimen note is phenomenal. Great comparison and contrast with the foreign note (Canadian note).
I'll be waiting for the next vid brother. Talk to you soon...

It is so awesome in person. Just had to have one since Stuplubak showed it in his video. I definitely am a detail oriented person, and will make note of any similarities in notes. Already have more finds, but may put them off for a video later this month. Still planning on showing some of my world notes, and coins in a series of videos, but working on a new filming spot before starting those videos. Just the current location doesn't work well for filming coins, especially the copper ones.
