My first visit to Copenhagen was November 2002, and the place i stayed was a 10 minute walk from the Bella Center station. I had a 48 hour ticket, and rode the metro, bus and S-Bane around. Back then, there were only the two lines. I hope to return to Copenhagen in the next few years.
A fun fact about the Copenhagen metro is that the stations that are red are the stations where you can switch to s-trains/s-tog. Another fun fact is that the M4 line was an afterthought. It was supposed to only be the M3 line. Another fun fact about the M4 is that used to go between oriantkaj and Copenhagen central station only. Copenhagen south/København syd and the 4 other stations were only opened a few months ago at the time of writing this comment. Another fun fact is that the M3 line opened in 2019 while the M4 line opened in 2020. I actually rode the M3 line the day that it opened. Let's just say the trains were crowded...
That junction at 3:00 is just beautiful!!
Those "Cushion trains" - some swedish train drivers call them "Elephant's arse" :D
The metro system in Copenhagen is very nice. As well as the metro trains being used. Awesome stuff.
