I think that it was proposed and prototyped ~ and how TfL would have wished to squeeze more of us in with it too. Alas in an unitended bonus for those who like to (try to) breathe, picture little boys' heads stuck in railings and if that's not enough, the risk of sudden jolts or pushing and sudden snaps (of arms) and screaming..! Very occasionally, the law of unitended consequences turns up trumps.
I definitely think this batch makes a distinctly loud sound in motion, compared to the driverless sets on lines 4 and 14. It's similar to the drivered MP87s compared to the driverless ones.
have you been urbex five ways tower? there has rare acconic lift and and weird mod lift in early 2000s but notice: the high rise lift are demolished and in motor room is has and machine with controler
I wish you don't like wait time in elevators lol. There are turnstiles for disabled persons with this timer. Rennes' metro elevator are same wait time (without display and 10 seconds wait)

Les trains précédents avaient quatre portes par caisse, les nouveaux en ont trois, donc il était impossible d'installer des façades de quai. Mais les quais ont été conçus pour que des portes puissent être installées à l'avenir.
The Trellick Tower, a renowned Brutalist residential building in North Kensington, London, was designed by Ernő Goldfinger, a prominent Hungarian-born architect. Completed in 1972, the 31-story building became iconic for its striking design and was initially controversial but later celebrated as a masterpiece of Brutalist architecture. Though infamous in the 1980s for issues like crime and vandalism, Trellick Tower underwent significant revitalization, becoming a sought-after address and a symbol of modernist heritage. Its stark aesthetic and dramatic concrete forms have made it a magnet for urban exploration (urbex) enthusiasts, who are drawn to its gritty, atmospheric appeal. The “aura” surrounding the tower often ties into its mix of architectural brilliance and its layered social history
Always thought the rubber tire drive system was so fascinating
I really like the 3 part pole in between the doors. I've seen it on buses before but never on a metro

Why are there no platform doors on line 11 or barriers because the Paris metro has them
Too expensive for a line which does not need them
Its only on line that need them (automatized, and future automatized)
