I believe the boxes in the balconies of the apartments are not gas meters, but the external "refrigeration" units of the air conditioners. I'm in Japan for about 15 months, currently renting a townhome in the Arashiyama area of Kyoto, and the property has the refrigeration "box" units situated outside on the ground with insulated pipes leading into the building directly to the fan component that distributes the cold air. A lot different from the central air units in the US.

Exactly it’s so cool !
I love love love these videos. Keep em coming. And I love how patient and calm your wife is. 🙂
The only thing i've done is fly over japan saw it from the window. It's becoming more and more open to long term tourism and foreigners living there recently. Good to see your family .
Such a sweet family. So happy for you. Japan is a fascinating country. You're fortunate to have family there!
If you are trying to figure out what Cash's comment was about the NYC elevators looking like one but not really being one... he meant they are bathrooms
I’m so thrilled to watch you and your family in Japan. Violet is so grown up and your baby Eliza is absolutely so cute! Great to watch the whole family on vacation. It’s a great difference from watching NY . Can’t wait to watch #3.
The fridge looks like a cabinet. Nice thrilling in the chair Cash! Elisa looks just like you!
AAhhh man, Japan looks amazing!! Have a great time onverthere, stay safe and keep them vids coming...!! 🙂
I love it! Thank you, Cash and family, for taking us along and introducing us to Mrs. Jordan's aunt. And thank you to your aunt for allowing us to see your home. It's such a pleasure seeing the beauty of Japan and how clean and efficient it is and to see a Japanese home. It makes me see my little efficiency apartment in a different. way -- That's great how Violet is involved with little things like tickets and pressing elevator buttons. Before much longer she's going to be a sophisticated traveler! --- I'm eager to see what you have for us next.
My first time meeting Violets lil sister - sweet faced Baby! I love when you all go to Japan. Will we see your wifes' family house this year? I love that place. Thanks for sharing.
Great video. Your kids are precious! Fun to see the different cultures and lifestyles
Hey Cash, how long are you going to stay in Japan? Can you do real estate there? Your family is divine, so relaxed. Very zen. I would love to go back there again. Actually I feel like I'm there now watching your video. I wouldn't blame you if you never came back to the states the way things are right now. Enjoy your time there and I know you will. You're like America's Family now.
I cant imagine doing that trip with two young children. Good job 👍
The kinda lost thing only applies to Tokyo and the major areas in Kansai. Other places aren't as difficult to navigate.
Wonderful family and such a fun adventure! Japan is very beautiful and it's great that your girls will grow up in touch with that.
