    In this video, I show you how to draft and cut an office dress with cutout patches using invisible dart technique. This video is in two part, In the first part, I show you how to draft & cut and In the second part, I show you how to sew and the final look on me.
    This oufit can be worn for formal events and has a way of making you stand out.

    •1.5 yard of thick crepe fabric(Black) & leftover fabrics for cutout patches
    •Patter master
    •Marker
    •Measuring tape
    •Fabric and paper scissors
    •Sewing machine and thread
    •Invisible gown zipper
    •Chalk
    •Pattern paper
    Measurements used
    •Back
    •Bust round
    •Waist round
    •Hip round
    •Hip length
    •Shoulder to nipple
    •Shoulder to underbust
    •Shoulder to waist(Front) (Back)
    •Shoulder to Full length
    •Nipple to nipple (Bust span)

    I love the tutorials but I need just a little more clarity on the part where you did the pinning at the burst side please I didn't really get that.
    1 was it for me paper to torch the fabric?
    2. Was it for the paper to lay flat?
    Please I need your kind explanation, thanks

      You will pin the fabric to the paper following the bust shape for the front pattern. For the back pattern, you will lay it flat. I hope this is helpful.

    Ma can this same method be used for a gown with out waist half cut, i mean can it be use to cut a straight gown without a half cut waist, thanks 👍

      Duly noted. Thanks for the observation.
      Though I use marker for tutorials but to avoid mistakes, that why I had to use Pencil earlier. I went on to highlight with marker in the later part of the video.
