Awesome! Thanks Burke. We will be taking this beast all over and sprinkle in some more Revel Van centric stuff along the way! Glad to have you around :)
Thanks for the tour! We actually ordered a 2022 (same color), but as they kept pushing the availability date forward we got antsy and ended up finding a great deal on a used 2019 Revel. The storage is a tad bit different in the 2019, but most of it is similar. I enjoyed seeing how you fit everything in and it gives me hope that we can fit all our stuff in there too. 😉
Thanks Susan! Definitely better to be in one than to be waiting. You got this haha. It is a constant organizational puzzle. Plus, you got a little more room in the garage :).
Yeah, Mercedes factory was shut down during when COVID started and its back up however there's a global chip shortage and many dealers cant even order for 2021, 2022 seems like the year however depends on how long the chip shortage will be resolved and things get back going.
Yes, definitely have to put a lot of thought into what we actually need compared to want haha. Also trying to stay in decently warm weather 40+ helps. Thanks for the feedback Tedi ❤️
Hi Guys. we have travelled the world and done 2 years in a motorhome caring and travelling. We are looking to build our own van and this is a great set of videos to help along with our knowledge of travelling. Stay safe guys and thanks again.
Hi Kevin! Thank you for the love. We will be continuing to travel around and are so glad that our videos can help other people or atleast entertain them :)
We loved your video! We went to purchase a Revel today and put a deposit down. You guys sealed the deal for us. My wife said you know we have to name the Van! I said yes what should we name it? Your video came up and you named your Van Tina! My wife’s name is Tina! So funny!!! Thank you guys we look forward to more videos from your Tina to ours!!
Really enjoyed the video. Great overview view and kept me engaged. Amy and I just picked up our 2022 last week. We love the bench and table you made for the back. Do you know where we can get similar accessories ?
Hi Darren, thanks! Yes, the company “80/20” sells extruded aluminum and all the parts you will need for the base. The actual cushion is plywood with foam & then fabricated.
This is the first of your videos I have seen. You guys are so neat, I was thinking that you don’t really use it much - until I saw all that food! Nice video. I wish I could keep my Ascent that neat.
We try and we definitely use it. we are full time in here :) it does take a bit of cleaning, but luckily it is a small space. Also, doesn’t hurt to make it look halfway decent for the vid 🤫
As a single person the bed will probably feel amazing! We are full time with 2 and the bed is the only thing that feels a little tight… well maybe the amount of food too 😂
All Winnebago Class Bs have the same cheap sink. puck lights, table, the cabinet latches open if something inside hits it, cheap shower head, cheap instrument dial for battery info, the toilet is emergency use only... insulation is spotty, propane only last three days in the cold weather...but I still like the over all job it does.
Nicely done video guys! I’m widowed so it would usually be me and my German Shepherd. I would love to sleep 2 separately though. Do you think it’s doable? How difficult is cooking on the electric plate? You didn’t get into that but I believe that’s the only source? I had sprinters for my business, and they’re the only chassis I would get. Best of luck, and enjoy your travels!
Hi Paul! We have seen a lot of people make dog modifications and separate bed near the bench seat. Lots of cools options. If you are considering this van I would suggest joining the Winnebago Revel Facebook site. The electric plate works well. We also have a separate travel propane grill. So many different cooking options on FB group as well. Thanks for the great questions. The Mercedes has been wonderful.
Thanks Stephen, we found an old laptop bag that is padded and the stovetop fits perfectly in the bottom pantry shelf. It takes up 2/3 of that shelf though.
I think I found your guy’s channel early! I can see you guys going far and I’ll be following all the way. I’m from South Africa, currently working on the yachts in Europe but when I’m done I’m definitely going for a year in a van. Where do you guys plan on traveling?
Robbie that means a lot! All over North America. Waiting for the Canada border to open so we can explore Canada and head up to Alaska. Fingers crossed it opens soon!
Nice video! Keep up the good work. I like your clothing storage bins. They seem to fit well and look good. No link in description...can you share info and size. The collapsible felt ones are cool too. Did find Amazon link in description for those but, what sizes are you using and where? My Revel is Silver and I call her, Bullet :)
I found the bins in one of your other videos! Thx. Now where did you get that particular paper towel holder? Dislike one I have and one you have seems to fit under rack perfectly and covers entire bottom of rack. Is it a two piece ordeal? Also what storage solutions are you using in your GLSS?
@@P6life Hi Dennis! I am glad you found the link to the custom bins. They are great for that space. Love the name Bullet! We are updating this video with the link as well and will add the craftsman magnetic paper towel holder in there :) It attaches right to the metal. We use one of the large felt colapsable bins for the GLSS and then the other portion is open for our camping gear (tent, backpacks etc..) (Note: Our GLSS was made by us so it may have different dimensions than the CAV one)
You had me hunting that thing down (magnetic paper towel holder) and before you responded I ran into Yamazaki-- organization for small spaces. Ordered their minimalistic looking magnetic paper towel holder and their magnetic 3 swing arm dish towel holder-- might even try hanging 🍌 off of one arm. Going to try the two together. Keep you posted.
Thank you for a wonderful walk through & great ideas. Which swing arm and.bike rack are you using? How did you choose? Are there pros & cons of certain brands/models?
Hi Deborah, it is the Rocky Mount backstage. The link is in the description. This is all in one and was in stock and cheaper than some of the other brands while still having amazing reviews. Only thing I would say with our van is that it swings to the passenger side where the ladder can get in the way. Would be nice to get a drivers side swing.
@@FarisandLisa What brand is the bike cover? Do you like it? Thoughts and suggestions are much appreciated. My husband and I also have a 2021 Revel and are looking for a bike cover.

Hi Phil! Thanks so much for watching. Yeah the price is around there. It can differ depending on time and place. We thought about building our own, but we wanted to get on the road quickly and did not have the space to work on it. Looking forward to see if you end up getting a sprinter. We love it.
It is just a rubber coaster that we cut out to protect that button. we also put silicone around the button as well. Water has leaked in over peoples rigs and caused electrical issues. So we got double protection

The lithium batteries and a power inverter. It will only last a couple hours and runs the battery down fast. You can also plug into shore power.
