This seems to just be improving using odd random items on lenses, this is very damaging to lenses. Please don’t do this! However fabric softener works best to remove scratches as it softens plastic or glass lenses. It also polarizes the lenses and gives the lens a scratch resistant coating and a fresh sent. This works because fabric softener contains silicone. It’s a scientific fact… trust me I studied with Bill Nye the science guy as a young adult, and like him later in life as an older adult person I got my first honorary degree in science just like he achieved. ;)
This actually made my glasses way better I ended up doing the toothpaste Vaseline hack and scratched my glasses even more Your fabric softener solution fixed the problem way better.
I use Johnson Pledge multisurface cleaner and a very soft cotton cloth to clean my specs, and have done for several years. It's not abrasive (washing-up liquid aka dish soap is), and it cleans the lenses very well. I think it must leave a microscopic layer on the surface, because the lenses stay clean for ages.

Thank you for sharing, you clean the glass with a little dishwashing liquid, use vaseline and then wipe it with a paper towel. This way the small scratches will disappear and the glass will still be clean

I made my own cleaner for glasses and mobile phone using 50/50 rubbing alcohol and distilled water but ran out of it so now they are really bad but I make my own soap so it’s well gentle for washing thing’s glasses included 🇬🇧
Seems like a lot of trouble to go through when you can just buy and use an inexpensive microfiber cloth. You can also use it to clean your TV and computer screens.
Not true. Dawn dish soap is harmless, and one of the few things that can totally remove built-up grease and dirt. The opticians want you to use their spray cleaner forever. That stuff is good for a quick, on the go cleaning - but sooner or later the grease build-up outpaces what the spray can do, and you are just moving grease around on the lens and increasing the chances of scratching them now that other stuff sticks in the grease. You need Dawn (regular, not flavored or with other additives) and water. The people at Sunglass Hut can't understand this for the life of them - they will "clean" a test pair for me with the spray and a nasty rag, and they are so dirty / disgusting after the guy in the store gets done with them I can't even see out of the specs looking up at the light.

There are some SCRATCHES on my glasses. There is a lot of difficulty in seeing far and near. I don't understand how many times I have to change my glasses. I've tried many a way, toothpaste, fine rubbing compound, polish, baking soda, wax, heat etc.... some remove scratches as well as any anti-glare coating AND ALL RESULT IN A DULL LENS, especially non glass material, which is about 99% of lenses.... save yourself the time and frustration, either take excellent care of your glasses [like you would care for your eyes!] or replace them - these videos are the ego-trips of their creators, the blind leading the blind...
This seems to just be improving using odd random items on lenses, this is very damaging to lenses. Please don’t do this! However fabric softener works best to remove scratches as it softens plastic or glass lenses. It also polarizes the lenses and gives the lens a scratch resistant coating and a fresh sent. This works because fabric softener contains silicone. It’s a scientific fact… trust me I studied with Bill Nye the science guy as a young adult, and like him later in life as an older adult person I got my first honorary degree in science just like he achieved. ;)

No good if you have plastic lenses with an anti-reflection and anti-scratch coating. Detergent/soap will damage that over time.

I use Johnson Pledge multisurface cleaner and a very soft cotton cloth to clean my specs, and have done for several years. It's not abrasive (washing-up liquid aka dish soap is), and it cleans the lenses very well. I think it must leave a microscopic layer on the surface, because the lenses stay clean for ages.

You should have use Sandpaper to Remove scratches instead of vaseline

Just tested on plastic lense. glasses is brighter, because of the oil. And it doesn't work. it just get more blur
Thank you for sharing, you clean the glass with a little dishwashing liquid, use vaseline and then wipe it with a paper towel. This way the small scratches will disappear and the glass will still be clean

What are the ingredients of the Vaseline? Is it just pure petroleum jelly? There are variations of product that include cocoa butter.

Just rins the glasses into pure plain water twice for bright and clear view. Never try vasline which makes a poor white layer over the glasses.

I made my own cleaner for glasses and mobile phone using 50/50 rubbing alcohol and distilled water but ran out of it so now they are really bad but I make my own soap so it’s well gentle for washing thing’s glasses included

Not true. Dawn dish soap is harmless, and one of the few things that can totally remove built-up grease and dirt. The opticians want you to use their spray cleaner forever. That stuff is good for a quick, on the go cleaning - but sooner or later the grease build-up outpaces what the spray can do, and you are just moving grease around on the lens and increasing the chances of scratching them now that other stuff sticks in the grease. You need Dawn (regular, not flavored or with other additives) and water. The people at Sunglass Hut can't understand this for the life of them - they will "clean" a test pair for me with the spray and a nasty rag, and they are so dirty / disgusting after the guy in the store gets done with them I can't even see out of the specs looking up at the light.

He will do this not with His flesh, but with utterances from the mouth of God who be come flesh to conquer all people in the entire universe; only this is the word made flesh, and this only is the appearance of the word in the flesh. In fact, there is no need for Me to explain-the coming of the Millennium Kingdom on earth is the coming of God's words on earth. The descent of the New Jerusalem from heaven is the coming of the words of God that will live with man, that will guide every action of man, and all of his whole will-inner thoughts. This is God's plan: His words will be on earth for a Thousand Years, and they will reveal all His works, and complete all His works on earth, after this period mankind will come to their end.)
Almighty God said
GOD'S WORDS will SPREAD in UNNUMBERED HOMES, these WILL be KNOWN by EVERYONE, and THIS is the ONLY WAY His WORK will SPREAD in the UNIVERSE.☀️
THAT MEANS, IF GOD'S WORK is to be SPREADED THROUGHOUT the UNIVERSE, THEN His WORDS MUST be SPREADED. ☀️
In the day of God's glory, God's words will show their power and authority. Every one of His words from time immemorial until now will be fulfilled and come true. IN THIS WAY, GLORY WILL BE GONE--to GOD on EARTH---WHICH MEANS, His WORDS WILL RULE on EARTH. 🙏
All the wicked will be punished by the words of God in the mouth of God, all the good will be blessed by the words in His mouth, and all will be established and completed by the words in His mouth.
Nor will He show any signs or wonders; everything will be fulfilled by His words, and His words will bring forth truths.💐
EVERYONE on EARTH will CELEBRATE the WORD of GOD, be it OLD or CHILDREN, MEN, WOMEN, OLD, or CHILDREN, ALL PEOPLE WILL SUBJECT to the WORDS of GOD. The words of God will appear as flesh, and will appear vivid and lifelike to the people of the earth. THIS is the MEANING of the WORD BECOMING FLESH. GOD CAME to EARTH MAINLY to FULFILL that TRUTH "the Word became flesh," which means, He CAME so His WORDS WOULD COME in the FLESH (not like in the time of Moses in the Old Testament, when God spoke directly from heaven). 🙏
After that, EVERY ONE of His WORDS WILL be FULFILLED in the AGE of the MILLENNIUM KINGDOM, they will become reality visible to human eyes, and people will see them with their own eyes without the slightest difference. This is the highest meaning of God's incarnation. WHICH MEANS, the WORK of the SPIRIT is FULFILLED THROUGH the FLESH, and THROUGH WORDS. ☀️
THIS is the REAL MEANING OF "the Word became flesh" and "the manifestation of the Word in flesh."
ONLY GOD CAN SPEAK the WILL of the SPIRIT, and ONLY GOD in the FLESH CAN SPEAK on BEHALF of the SPIRIT; the WORDS of GOD are MADE PLAIN in the FLESH of GOD, and EVERYTHING is GUIDED by IT. 🌹
No one is not covered, they all exist within its scope. Only from these utterances can people understand; those who cannot understand this are dreaming if they think they will understand these words they think they will understand these words in heaven.
Such is the authority manifested in the flesh of God: that makes all believe. EVEN the MOST RESPECTED EXPERTS and RELIGIOUS PASTORS CANNOT UTTER these WORDS.
They must believe the word, and no one can make a new beginning. GOD will USE WORDS that WILL CONQUER the UNIVERSE. He WILL DO this NOT with His FLESH, but with UTTERANCES from the MOUTH of GOD who BECAME FLESH to CONQUER ALL PEOPLE in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE; ONLY this is the WORD MADE FLESH, and this ONLY is the APPEARANCE of the WORD in the FLESH. 🙏
Perhaps, to people, it seems that God has not done everything completely----but GOD must FIRST SPEAK His WORDS so that PEOPLE can FULLY BELIEVE, and for them to be COMPLETELY IMPRESSED.
In the absurd, people shout and wait; at the word of God, they are silent. God will certainly achieve this truth, because this is God's long-term plan: fulfilling the truth of the coming of the Word to earth.
In FACT, there is NO NEED for Me to EXPLAIN---the COMING of the MILLENNIUM KINGDOM on EARTH is the COMING of GOD'S WORDS on EARTH. 🙏
The DESCENT of the NEW JERUSALEM from HEAVEN is the COMING of the WORDS of GOD that will LIVE with MAN, that WILL GUIDE EVERY ACTION of MAN, and ALL of HIS WHOLE WILL--INNER THOUGHTS. ☀️🙏
THIS is ALSO the TRUTH that GOD is REALIZING, and the WONDERFUL SIGHT of the MILLENNIAL KINGDOM. ☀️

Thanks for the observation! I always try to ensure everything is perfect before sharing tips.
I've tried many a way, toothpaste, fine rubbing compound, polish, baking soda, wax, heat etc.... some remove scratches as well as any anti-glare coating AND ALL RESULT IN A DULL LENS, especially non glass material, which is about 99% of lenses.... save yourself the time and frustration, either take excellent care of your glasses [like you would care for your eyes!] or replace them - these videos are the ego-trips of their creators, the blind leading the blind...
