Born and raised in Arizona. Now live in North Dakota. I hate this weather. Growing up thought it would be cool. But it's seriously wicked. Negative temperatures with wind chill. Its brutal
I grew up in Taylor, Michigan (still live there) and my girlfriend grew up in Wyandotte, Michigan. This snow is so normal for us. My family car when I was a kid was a Ford LTD Crown Victoria. That thing would start when nothing else would.
In southern new England this year . Every time it snows . It turns to rain. Then gets cold again at night. So everything turns to ice. Shits pissing me off.
I live in Northern Europe but also lived in Northeast USA. It's been a brutal winter so far, with snow near every day. The idea put forward by Kayfabe Oliver that you cant remove the snow, lest it become ice is only true on the small roads. I clean our apartment buildings sidewalk anytime it snows since no one else has any class or civic sense of duty to their community. It might be an inch of packed snow on top of the sidewalk on some days, but its a flat surface people can easily walk on, without the walking in sand feeling you get with unshoveled sidewalks. Can throw salt on that and it will go away, it wont ice. The water which has salt melted into it will not freeze. It's a daily battle in some cases if you want a safe sidewalk or driveway, but its far from impossible. And for the record, it's been averaging about 15 degrees Farenheiht so even colder than Kayfabe Oliver is dealing with.
True story: when I was very little, my dad bought a brand new 1972 Ford Galaxie 500 from a dealership and the engine quit on the way home with me and my mum in it. Ever since that day, no one in our family has ever purchased a Ford anything.
We’ve had so much fucking rain that it’s almost nice to have snow, as late as it came but at least its more natural, I just hate the cold & wind but I dont mind a bit of snow as long as its not waist high
I live north of the border. I don’t bother with the little brushes and ice scrapers to clean off my truck. I use a push broom to clear the snow and run it until the ice on the windows melts. C’mon Kev….get with the program lol
So cute you guys think you have Winter down there... lol. Try being in -50C for 6 weeks straight! 😅 Totally nailed the classroom radiator thing, though. The smell of 20 pairs of garbage mitts drying on the radiator at the back of the class is burned into my memory...
Being from upper Michigan it was nothing to get 19 inch in a short time or you get up early AM and it will say 14 below zero , my best I had Jeep sport 4×4 big tires which somebody ruined by pouring water n glitter inmy gas tank
Kev talking climate change like he’s a forensics meteorologist…… first off the climate has been changing on this planet for billions of years and even when we’re all dead and gone it’s going to continue to change !!! Dope
I just got done plowing snow…😂

So why do you move to warmer state like Florida or California?
Well was a change. Moved here for my lady so she can be closer to her family!lots of other reasons but yeah lol
@@adampruitt9211 those are expensive states. North Dakota is affordable. I live in Ohio which is affordable as well.
The cold is brutal!!!! Living in the North East for 60 years, time to move to California or Vegas 🌅

I'm from Iowa and I remember it snowing sometimes when we were out trick or treating.
we had a Ford LTD 2 door, fully loaded, green on green. It was my father's pride & joy.

January and February are always the worst of the winter months.

My dad had a baby blue Ford LTD….. I cried as a kid when he sold it to get his Burgundy Grand Marquis 👍

I had a gray LTD back in 2000 that hit 315,000 miles
I had an LTD station wagon for a winter beater car. It was great except it had no reverse gear.

Cannot stand snow .... it sucks
Now I understand why everyone wants to move to Florida when they get old. The older I get. The less and less I wanna deal with snow.
Have to agree, it's an inconvenience.
