seems like Andersen is sort of in line with this. just spoke to a guy today. mentioned that for every 10% cash i pay, i would get a X% break in the cost. I don't recall the figure. We told him we would likely do the 0% for 60 months. Now i don't know. i'd have to do some more figuring. somewhat infuriating as how many times does a person buy all new windows for a house? not very often. thanks for the education and options!
I am researching replacing my aluminum framed windows with fiberglass. Your windows are a great help in educating myself before making my final decision. I asked one company if I could get a discount if I paid cash versus 0% financing for 24-48 months, the sales person said "no, the price will be the same whether you paid in cash or used financing."
Thanks for the Finance Lesson Jeff . My Problem would be, I have Never written a Check in my Life. Have no idea how to 🥴. And My Father was a Banker ! I know, Nothing to be Proud of 🤦🏻♀️. Hope you had a good Veterans Day, JaneLee 🕊️ 11/12/21
Spoke with Marvin's replacement guys in NJ. They offered 1 year 0%, I told them I'd pay in cash if they gave me the present value of the price at current interest rates. They said no. I wonder why.
@@HoustonWindowExperts I believe Marvin only sells the infinity windows directly. I got an estimate from a local business for Marvin's elevate windows, but I'm conflicted about the durability of the wood interiors on those. We're replacing casement windows which have all failed by rotting from the inside out.
If you buy the Infinity product, it comes with an interior called Everwood. Everwood looks like real wood, can be painted or stained and will never rot.
How does Simonton 6500 compare with Millard Tuscany. I’m stuck with replacement of Simonton but would like to get 4other windows to look similar. Thank you!
They're both very comfortable in many ways. They use the same glass and have about the same warranty standards. I do think that the Milgard product is a grade above the Simonton though.
Enerbank and the others have all raised their rates in the last year. Even the 12 mos 0% is over 7% now. To get 48 months would cost the dealer over 20%. Yikes!
I would only be guessing. I know in our case we actually have all of our employees on salary. They are W-2 employees who also get 401k benefits, vacation time, and health insurance. That's going to be completely different than a two man crew working out of the bed of their pickup. The smallest cruise we have are four people, and the largest cruise we have are seven. I am certainly the wrong guy to ask for advice on this subject.

With some of those companies, financing is just a scam. I would avoid them at all cost.
Great 👍 information
Thanks for watching! I'm glad it was helpful.

They're not being honest. They plan to pocket the difference.
Where are you located?
@@DissentOrConcur Washington state.
@@Mary-zd6ow there is always a cash discount. I would get multiple quotes from at least 3 different window companies.
I agree

You too!
You can always learn. I pay with checks or cashier's check for most jobs.

I'm guessing they don't have that flexibility. They are a corporate store, unlike an independent dealer.
Try a local Infinity dealer.

Awesome video.
Speaking of labor. What is the day rate for a crew of two for a small project. I know location plays a factor but a rough figure?
