We've had this Bestway 14' Steel Pro Max pool since the summer of 2020, when people were selling used pools for $1,200.
This above-ground pool has a steel frame and plastic liner construction. I like it a lot better than the inflatable ring type pop up pools. Intex and Coleman Steel Pros pretty comparable.
The Bestway kit includes the pool liner, steel frame components, a Flowclear pump, hoses, a patch kit, and a ladder.
Like the other pool pump repair video, in this video, I'll address how to fix when your pool filter pump won't start. That's usually the sign of a faulty gfci plug if it won't even turn on. Usually an easy repair and installation.
I think this 14' Steel Pro Max is a very sturdy pool, and we have taken it down and set it up each summer for 3 years. It doesn't have any leaks, and seems to have a very decent build quality.
If you're interested in comparing these, Bestway vs Intex or Coleman brands, I have had Intex and recommend them highly.

Oh Hi. I did a video a while back on how to work on a Intex pool pump, and I just wanted to do a little follow-up on the pump and this a pool that I bought during the summer of covid and I just want to show how it's been holding up and why I recommend one of these I did a video a while back on how to repair one of these if it's making a lot of noise or not sucking water and I just wanted to note that it's still running I haven't replaced it isn't very loud and it still works pretty well you just have to maintain it occasionally but there's no real need to throw things away if you can fix it so check out that video If because your pump isn't working that's not really what this video is going to be about this video is about this this pump and this pool this pool is branded as best way I think it's probably also similar to the Intex pools that you can get and why I recommend this over the the pools that have like an inflatable ring on the top is because it has a pretty sturdy steel frame - Навчання та стиль
Let me know your thoughts on this pool or other similar brands, like Intex and Coleman! Also, you can skip to different chapters within this video!
Oh wow….I’ve never seen one that color! Blue wave manufacturers all of these pools then they are sub sold with the other company names. We have an 18x52 Coleman (not the one with the windows) it’s 3yrs old but the one we had before this one was 7yrs old and we sold it to upgrade to the bigger one. BUT get a sand filter they are so much cheaper and easier to use.
Good advice! I might eventually get one when I can't repair this cheap one anymore!
@@JasonSipe16 they are the best! No filters to clean no hassle… just change sand every 4yrs. Your pool stays super clean and you use way less chemicals. We have an 18x52 Coleman pool and use a 16 inch Intex sand filter.
You're selling me on it!
What does it do to ur electric bill if u dont mind me asking, just got the kids a 14" and wanna know what im looking foward to lol
It really depends on the electric company around where you live, but I would say it adds another 20 bucks a month to our electric bill. Those little pumps aren't too terrible.
Do you use some type of pool cover?
No, we take it down at the end of the summer, and skim it when we get leaves during the summer.
My question, can you get the pump to run 24/7? I have the same pool and I don’t see a 10hr run time.
Mine only runs 24/7.
How?! Yours doesn’t have a timer?
